During week 13 I stop giving any nutrients in order to FLUSH the plants. The 12 AK-47 plants from SERIOUS SEEDS are in their last week of flowering (=9th week) and have developed into huge little trees. The size of the colas is ASTOUNDING to me at this stage, bigger than anything I have seen on plants in 7 liter pots. Unfortunately I see first signs of bud-rot on some plants, therefore its time to soon harvest the plants. The humidity during the late stages of flowering has been much too high due to bad weather outside. The high humidity with the huge size of the buds are the perfect circumstances for bud-rot beginning to grow INSIDE the buds (it always starts at the stem and grows to the outside). I spot a yellow sugar leave on a top and pull it out, since I feel no resistance at all, I take a closer look and open up the bud carefully. I spot grey mold at the center of the bud growing out of the stem and want to start to cry...my worst fear has come true...BUD-ROT is inside my beautiful plants! The only thing to do now is to cut off any infected parts and finish the grow as quickly as possible. The SANlight Q5W-Gen.2 LED-lights are still in full-power mode and some plants now show signs of light-bleaching at the very top of the plants. This means the plants grow white new flowers instead of green ones. The plants look like they have small snow-caps on top of the plants...an AMAZING THING to see. This can be avoided by dimming the LEDs during the last week of flowering or by hanging the LEDs higher. The white parts of the bud have the same quality as the rest, therefore i dont mind a little light-bleaching. What makes my heart hurt is the parts with bud-rot. Since mold can cause cancer when burned and inhaled, it is of utmost importance to cut off any infected parts off the plants when they are harvested. This means I will get much less medicine that I hoped...😢 At least the quality will be GREAT, since the buds are glistening with trichomes now and they SMELL AMAZING. The aroma is heavy and thick and lightly sweet with hints of Sandalwood...simply DELICIOUS!

Hey now, so this week went very well! The genetics from Sweet Seeds have been very strong...some of the biggest and greenest leaves I have ever seen, and they seem extremely resistant to everything! I am still feeding twice per day, with CalMag, and Maxigro, with an EC of 1.4 total. I am still using the Mars Hydro SP250 which has been amazing. I did raise the light on day 33 as I am trying to keep the light approximately 18-24 inches from the canopy. I must say these genetics from sweet seeds have been amazing! These ladies have been extremely happy, healthy, and green, no matter what conditions I have put them through! I am still feeding Veg Nutrients by GH, but I will be switching to Bloom Nutrients and adding a Bloom Blooster either this weekend or early next week. I will be starting out bloom nutrients at about 1.2 EC., and then gradually raising until I hit 1.8 Thanks for checking me out, and Blaze On!!!

Day 70 - It takes 5 days for the soil to dry out, with a 2.5 gallon dosage of the above listed nutrients. She has been selectively de-leafed, since the last major defoliation. The goal from now to harvest, is to maximize the light penetration, and airflow throughout the canopy, while sacrificing as few leaves as possible!

Hello brothers and sisters I'm still in full bloom. we are on day 68 from seed. The waterind are only with osmosic water. The leaves begin to yellow and the buds finally mature. One more week and the harvest. Bye.

Extremely healthy plant, despite the temps getting up to 32C here and there. No problems at all with this strain. Very excited for the budding.

Raspberry Ripple #1 and #2 (Flowering Plants)- This week really threw me a curveball! I had a major equipment failure. On Wednesday (day 24 of flower) I went to check on the flower room about 3 hours after my lights should have turned on and noticed my S44 Ionboard was not powered on. I quickly began to asses the situation and determined that my actual driver on the light fixture was broken and there was no power running to the light. The light was also my main power source for my controller 69 pro, so it went off as well and was unable to let me know the light was powered off via the app. When I noticed this I called a grow-bro of mine, and asked if I could borrow his Viparspectra Par 700 he had, he purchased the AC Infinity Evo 10 Ionframes and had that light sitting around! Shout out to @Mr. Wowie for the quick save. With his help, I was able to get a light back over my plants within 4 hours. Not ideal but better than it could have been! The next day I was able to purchase and install a used HLG 550 locally. This light is even meaner than my old ionboard! Boasting 480 watts of power from the MeanWell drivers, Samsung LM301H diodes, it was repaired and has an import heat sink, however it doesn't seem to get too hot. It's very similar to my old light and the plants seem to be doing fine, with no signs of herming or extreme stress. This week I noticed both Phenos flowers are really beginning to swell up. By the end of flower I'm sure these nugs will be almost soda can sized. The number 1 Pheno is still purple as can be and has clearly not ceased it's anthocyanin production. The number 2 Pheno caught my eye, or more my nose this week it's giving off an awesome terp profile. It has a bit fruitier of a smell than the #1, sort of like a good peach strain, super lemon haze or good strawberry Pheno. Where it's really in your face. The #1 Pheno is total candy, sweet. Huge diversity in these 2 phenos! Very cool to see. I installed a new Dehumidifier this week to keep up with the humid spring. I purchased an Air Plus 50 pint on sale on Amazon. This dehumidifier works very well and has been doing a wonderful job at managing humidity levels in the flower room. I gave the last feeding of build a flower and tm-7 this week and will be watering with only water and Fish Sh!t from this point unless the plants tell me otherwise. Raspberry Ripple #1 and #2 (Clones)- The clones did not have as interesting of a week, however they have began shooting more branches out and are developing the stereotypical thick Raspberry Ripple stalk, we've come to know and love these last 5 months. They seem to be on a good growth pace to run a perpetual cycle with. I feel they'll be pretty well ready for flower by the time I harvest the original plants. I still plan to keep a mother of each Pheno. Then begin my next Pheno hunt of Whiteberry by Paradise seeds. That pretty much wraps this week's entry up! Until next week, Happy Growing!- Starfish

And here we are at the harvest of our second Jet Fuel, a beauty with a jaunty look, flowers with large calyxes, gassy smell is Jet Fuel by Zamnesia. ** Remember that for all the strains we have at least two plants, one left to grow straight and one worked with the techniques. This is the plant left to grow without the use of techniques to see the other go to the previous week. The trichomes said cut me: it is a sativa predominance of leather we want to preserve the energizing effect. So guys not too much amber on the sativas I recommend otherwise you transform them into indicas. I see enough at least for my tastes and with respect to the strain, always evaluate not only based on your tastes based on the strain. Don't let the amber rule influence you too much we like to talk about harvest window and therefore we have mostly milky / coudy, some transparent and a good amount of amber as well. Technique used // This plant was left to grow free and beautiful with some cleaning at the bottom and some leaves but at the right time. Better with techniques or normal? This time we have two phenotypes similar in appearance and different in terpene profile, the plant left to grow straight seems to be a little better but they are really very similar. Flower quality // From one to 10 stars 9. The plant has resined very well on all sides, it is quite mature, I am satisfied with the color and I harvest it. Buds washed and cleaned as Lukas explains very well on the Zamnesia website, go and read and study the topics in depth, often it is necessary not to act superficially guys! Week 9 is here and we are looking at harvesting! After checking the trichomes of just the top colas, I decided this week I was going to harvest. I am updating this post after I have dried and harvested the plant so do not have much more details. I flushed the plant this week with Flora Kleen along with terpinator and microbes. I cut down the plants and hung them up in the tent to dry using a clothes hanger with clips I got off of Amazon. It took 10 days to dry the bud and my temps and humidity would fluctuate throughout the day and night. I stayed in the mid to low 70s for temperature and humidity was at 50% at first. Then I added a humidifier and had it dry in 60% humidity. Will update the rest in the harvest update.
