So this was my third tropicana, so far all different phenos, this was the biggest yielder of them

So much growth. I had the 1000w light up to 100% for a bit but it's just too hot so I put it back down to 75%. Dec 19: this one has some burnt leaves. I can't exactly tell if it's nutrient burn or light burn. I switched it into the cooler spot the White Widow was in, and I added a bunch of water. This one drank maybe a third of the water since Friday, at least twice as much as the other one. The pH on this one is still reading really low but my tap water is 7.8 and the White Widow is 7.6. I'm just going to watch it before I start adding pH up. It's very strange. This one is still stretching like crazy at the main cola points. She's starting to bloom but not as much as the white widow.

Hello growers and welcome to week 6. I expect Queen Citronella to gain a lot of height this week. I will be doing the measurements shortly, but first I wanted to share some news! Queen Citronella has a new home, she hasn't moved in yet, but I'm working on it today. I will also be rearranging all the other grows and starting some new things off! I am not sure if I have mentioned it anywhere but I am using a 1.2m x 1.2.m x 1.8m tent.. I have just got a 60cm x 60cm x 140cm tent and a 300w LED. Her Majesty I hope will enjoy her new quarters. Day 36: I have lowered the light to 30cm above the tallest plants. Day 37: It is done! Queen Citronella resides in her own palace, while the rest of the plebs squat together in the communal living area. I have reorganised and moved my 4x4, mounting the carbon filter and duct fan properly in the center. Setup a 2 x 2 with a 300w LED and put the lights for both tents on the same timer (for now). I will measure and photograph Her Majesty a little later, including photos of her new home. Day 37: Added media. Height: 31cm. Fertigated 2l. Day 37.5: Alright she is really stretching fast, she grew almost 5cm in a little over 30 hours, A thought has just occurred to me; I could, if I chose to, put the Queen on a flower cycle at this point. Now I did want to do a full grow of clones, however we're talking something like another 2 weeks of veg then 2 weeks for cuttings to root, then I'd want to veg them for a few more weeks, maybe 2, 3 or 4? So that's 6-10 weeks before I start flowering. Then at least ten weeks of flowering, A week to dry, and at least a fortnight to cure. We're talking 20-25 weeks before I get to smoke it, that's six months! I probably wont be able to grow in the summer due to the heat. Now I already have the one cutting which I am hoping will root soon, which I can take forward, but I also have two more seeds. So, regretfully, I think I will change my plans. I will flower queen Citronella, starting on day 43. I still intend to do a full tent of Super Lemon Haze clones, but I think I will postpone that adventure until September. So this is now the final week or final five days of veg, she will spend the bulk of her last week of veg under a different light. We wont get much data on vegging (unless there is a significant change this week) but it'll be a nice trial run flowering with an LED light for the first time. Exciting! I am still waiting for the Epislon F1 seeds from RQS. I set their pot up today, inoculated, fed, and sowed some Dark Opal (Purple) Greek Basil and a liberal sprinkling of chamomile. I am going to germinate all five seeds in jiffy pellets and then put them all in the same 40l Day 38: I have realised Her Majesty was too tall to flower in this little tent so I snapped her neck a bit. I installed a photometer app yesterday and discovered I was blasting Citronella with 75 DLI so I raised to light up until canopy level was 40 DLI. The LED is pretty good. The HPS Dual Spectrum bulb in the main tent must be on its last legs as output was around 40 DLI for optimally positioned plants and 30 least optionally positioned. I could do to buy a new bulb. Identical replacement is about fifteen bucks, best one is about fifty. For that I could get another one of those LEDs which seems like better value. At the moment though I really need the heat. So I am thinking identical replacement. 4 days to flower cycle! Day 38.5: Replaced crappy old Dutch barn reflector with a much nicer angel wing model. Installed a significantly larger carbon filter into the main tent which has significantly increased air flow. The main tent vents into the bottom of Queen Citronella's tent, and from there and unfiltered duct fan in the far top corner exhausts it out. The exhaust pipe goes up the chimney. Why have I reorganised and moved the tents again so soon is because I was wasting power heating the little tent with the LED light, but the main tent has excess heat. Well this setup is working a treat. Citronella is sitting in a balmy 23-24 degree wind tunnel. Check out the little video of the changes. Day 39: I think her majesty likes her new quarters. It's going to be weird seeing her square in a few more days. We are 2 days into a "dry spell" I'm simulating for all my plants. Day 40: Dry spell ended. Fertigated 6l. Day 41: Fertigated 3l. Citronella's penultimate day of veg, she is going 12/12 from lights out after next. Photos taken 10:00 9/2/23. Current lights out is Citronella's last 6 hour night! Day 42: Start: Have performed pre-flower LST, HST, and defoliation. 24 hours to flower cycle. Day 42: End: photographed immediately before first 12h night. End of week summary: Huge week for Citronella. I think this LED light is pretty good. Change of plans regarding the grow and preparing her for flower. Let's see how she does.

This strain is an interesting skunk cross, she is growing fast, strong and big 💪🏻💚

Sweet mother of god! What a beautiful plant! Now I finally know what it means to grow US genetics. Sherbinskis in collab with Sensi Seeds has made some uniquely beautiful plant. She's dark, almost black, she's extremely good looking, and frankly I didn't expect the plant to look as good as the advertisement photographs but here she is! As beautiful as it can get! I've pushed my photography skills again and god damn, it was worth it. I don't know if any other plant has been this photogenic! The yield is great, as expected from a extra longer veg period. The smell is off the hooks! Please, have a closer look at all the photographs, there are soooooo many gems that should be able to win dozens of contest IN MY OPINION XD PS: Hopefully I'll grab your attention with these bomb ass macro shots!!!!! Good week

Day 71 I didn't label the plants so I don't know which is Sheryl or Candace anymore. I'm also not sure what I did different to have such varying results. One is thick, the other is not worth trimming. Based on camera zoom photos it looks like we're at 10% amber trichomes, which means it's likely the last week. Lesson: Label each plant, take better notes. I bottom watered 6.5ph 1tsp of Terp Tea Bloom in 15oz each. Possibly the last watering. I ordered a digital microscope so I can be sure on the trichomes. Day 72 Microscope came in. It's not great but it was $15 so... anyhow I could see that the chunky girl is ready with high amber trich count (30%) upper plant and about 10% in the lower buds. I put her in dark and will chop tomorrow. The skinny girl that pissed me off last week has about 5% amber trichomes so she got fed and watered. Additionally, she stacked up and put on some weight. Nothing too crazy but it's noticeable. I'll give her another week or two. By the time the chunky plant is done drying (HerbsNOW dryer) and in a jar, the skinny plant won't be skinny anymore and she'll be ready to come down.

Hello Growers and Tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 Pretty good week. She's grown a full 10cm this week, new growth is coming up. She's mainly still filling in space but still stretching. I'm impressed how fat her stalk is getting and her stems are quite strong, no need for support yet. 💪 I noticed that she is drinking really fast and was a bit limp some days. So I increased the amount of water a lot this week total of 600ml. So far I'm constantly adding a little bit more every feed. Currently feeding 1,5L each, every other day. Will be increasing as they ask for more. How do they ask for more? When feeding if the soil is drier than normal I give a 150-200ml increment of water. I do that until they stop feeding so much then i just maintain that amount. I start reducing if it takes longer to dry. That works good for me. The old finger in the dirt trick. 👍 Nothing like knowing exactly what your ladies need first hand. No particular smell yet. Buds are just starting to form. Stay tuned for next week's update. 5/4/21. Day 64. WR is beefing up. Drinking about 12 ounces a day, water only. I'm still seeing some clear trichomes. Not much amber. I'm thinking she'll be done in less than a week. Still hoping she lightens up a bit. I want her to burn up whatever nutes are left before the cut. We shall see, patience is a virtue! GC is a beast! Still uptaking a half gallon of water daily. I cut back just a bit yesterday and she let me know by pouting (droopy) this morning. I top fed her about 1.5 quarts and bottom fed a half quart or so. Then gave her a few ounces of Reharge water. I use a hand pump sprayer and water a bit at a time to prevent roll off. Thiink of light rain on dry soil. She looks happy and lush now. She'll get full bloom nutes tomorrow plus some top dressing, her roots are growing up and out of the surface of the soil 😳. Details on the the top dress will be noted in my next update. These two girls were planted on the same day. 5/6 Day 66. GC came out to play today😳 Stll shots just dont do her justice. She's still drinking heavily. Half gallon of 5 part bloom + Cal-mag yesterday morning, this morning dry. I'm gonna botom feed her at night, just a pint or so. I feel bad when she pouts 😟 She's 22 inches at the peak and 22 inches round. Next time I woud choose 5 gallon bags, 2 per this size tent. I LSTed a bit with pipe cleaners to even up spacing. The I gave her another pruning. So much leaf! @Hawkbo on his GC grow for for showing me the way! She also got a top dressing of 1/2 quart of Happy Frog with worn casings, dolomite lime and bone meal. She just eating all these nutes up! The tops are building girth now. Very firm! No oder yet. WR is ready! I'm drooling, no really. She'll get a nice video too 😉 Might do a selective harvest. They dont always finish evenly. To be continued. 5/9 Day 69. WR went dark. I'll chop her on day 70, 10 weeks. Trichs are mainly milky. Big and bold! Looking into a scope that connects to the tablet so I can get some shots of these these divine pearls 👊😌 Sorry to report I cant upload the the video I made, corrupted file or some nonsence 😒 GC is chugging along building buds! She's a jungle of bud and leaf. I continue to work the canopy relieving her umbrella leaf and of the scub from underneath. Who wants all that fluff anyway? Still drinking almost a half gallon a day. I'm gonna keep the bloom nutes on the hot side unless she says stop.

📆 Semana 9 El cultivo entra de lleno en la fase de maduración avanzada, donde los cogollos alcanzan su máxima densidad y terminan de cerrarse completamente. La estructura floral se percibe ya compacta, con cálices bien hinchados y una sensación de peso notable en cada rama. La producción de resina está en su punto alto, formando una capa espesa y brillante. Los tricomas predominan lechosos, comenzando a aparecer los primeros ámbar de forma puntual, señal de que la ventana de corte empieza a acercarse. La planta reduce ligeramente su ritmo de crecimiento vertical y centra toda su energía en el acabado final: engorde, maduración y expresión completa de terpenos. El aroma se intensifica aún más, volviéndose más penetrante, complejo y persistente en el ambiente. El conjunto sigue estable, sano y bien equilibrado, mostrando un final de floración limpio y controlado. Seguimos creciendo fuerte 💪!

26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. I'm very excited to see them adapt and progress! 😁 there are videos above with before and after of my LST process. Thanks for checking out my diary 🍃 ✌️

En principio puse 19 semillas en tierra directa, pero una de las OG kush no ha salido, tampoco está tan mal de 19 que falle una y haciéndolo en tierra directa que al final es más arriesgado pero es una manía!! El día que pierda mi dinero en semillas que no salen ya no lo haré más, de momento lo sigo haciendo tentando mi suerte!

Hey now, this week went pretty good! The Acid Dough from Ripper Seeds is almost done stretching, she didn't get as tall as I hoped but that was mostly my fault for training her too long. I have noticed no matter how long I train the stems outward, they always grow back up towards the middle in the end, so I am starting to think I am wasting height of colas by training a few days or a week too long. Anyways, other than that I did some light defoliation and that is about all. Super excited to see what my first run of Ripper Seeds will produce!
