Day 50 The lower leaves of the plant turned yellow I have two options that could have caused the lower leaves to turn yellow The first is a lack of nitrogen. In the last two weeks, I have reduced the dose of AD Grow fertilizer from 4 ml to 2 ml which contains nitrogen and i have not added AD B-52 for two weeks The second option is that I measure the ph with drops I don’t have digital one and there may be an ph error one more detail: I was out of town for a few days and when I returned, the ground was as dry as a desert, but I don't think that is the cause Defoliation has been done for several days now Defoliation has been done for several days now. I putted it into its pot because the roots where very strong. It's gtowing nice but I see some signs of spider milts already. Will work against it very soon

At this point, I’m wondering if there was something I could have done earlier to avoid the significant height difference between the two plants. Jack Herer turned out compact, while Northern Lights grew taller, with buds more scattered and spaced out. A few weeks ago, I did some lollipopping to remove very low, underdeveloped buds, and also some defoliation to help light reach areas that were shaded. I’ve been really struggling with the Berlin summer. I can’t get the tent temperature below 28°C. Sometimes the humidity outside the tent is higher than I’d like, but since I don’t have a dehumidifier, I usually just leave it as is, especially since it rarely stays above 55% for too long. Just a quick note about the nutrient Vegan Phosphor Boost: I’m following the recommended dosage of 3g per 10L of pot size (not per liter of water). Unfortunately, GrowDiaries only allows nutrient input based on volume per liter of water, so I can’t log it exactly as used.

They are growing really well. Added a humidifier at day 9. I have a seedling in rockwool still it is growing super slow. Root still not sticking out even tho it have been in the cube for 7 days now. Im feeding very light 40% strenght. I see how light green the leafs are and thats what im going for. I will up the strenght abit the following days. I been watering almost everyday. Started the first week with 0.1 liter now upped it to 0.2 liters per plant. I had the HPS light just a bit too close to the plants so i have some very slight curling on a few of the leafs. No problem i just move the light up 5cm. So far im very pleased with the growth rate

This is one of the strains that is doing very well in both the technical/free versions, we are talking about the Fruti Punch Automatic by Zamnesia. Remember that we are growing a plant worked with the techniques indicated and another left to grow without pruning to preserve its speed; in the previous/next diary you will find the other plant of the same variety. In this diary we find a plant worked with a technique that I have recently become passionate about thanks to my friend Yan402 who in a discussion convinced me to study it further also on autoflowering plants, now I am having a lot of fun. This plant is eure being a medium low internode it has been worked with a very precise Main Lining, I have also done much better in terms of elegance but I like this one a lot too. Comparison is the salt of experience, so the plant in the other diary will be treated very differently, go and see it to make a comparison. We started the Plagron fertilization program, we are in 100% organic configuration, the soil is made up of recycled Promix + 1/3 fresh soil + 10% Perlite + RQS Mycorrhizae Mix (4 g in the mix, 1 g under the small fiber pot). Mar 10th Week 13 CDP # 2 is doing awesome Some LST required and possibly some more defoliation this week CDP # 1 is picking up a little bit from last week but still far behind it’s sister plant Mar 13th Fresh nutrients today More defoliation CDP # 1 is still lagging behind CDP # 2 is healthy happy filling out nicely It is the biggest plant in the tent Mar 14th Defoliated CDP # 2 big time. Took me an hour or so. This is an experiment with defoliation for me. I want to see if this will help provide the stimulus to produce buds instead of leaves. All in an attempt to get the biggest nuggets I can.

Then ON 3/20 I Increased My Light Intensity From 25% to 50% And began giving These Girls There Flower Nutrients Listed Above . Nutrient Solution (Tank): Volume: 8.5 L EC: 3.05 pH: 5.5 Nutrients: Advanced Nutrients Micro/Grow/Bloom + CalMag Irrigation Run: Pump time: 30 minutes Total Drain: 5.0 L (≈ 60%) Drain EC: 2.6 Drain pH: 6.0 🔎 Observations Drain volume was far too high (target is ~20%). Drain EC lower than input EC → medium was relatively “empty”, plants absorbed nutrients quickly. pH drift from 5.5 → 6.0 shows some buffering effect left in the reused substrate, but limited. Substrate behaves more like coco than soil now (low buffer, fast response). 💡 Insight / Lesson Learned 30 minutes pump time is way too long → resulted in 60% runoff instead of 20%. For 8 × 1 L pots, a single irrigation event should be ~1.0–1.2 L total, with ~200–250 ml runoff. Solution: shorten pump time to ~5 minutes and re-test runoff. Better approach: run shorter, more frequent irrigations (daily) with a lower EC (2.0–2.2), instead of heavy feedings (EC 3.0) only 3× per week. This will keep EC more stable in the root zone and prevent salt buildup in the tiny 1 L pots. 27.08 Adjusted the pump timer to 5 minutes, gave the first dose of PK13/14.
