For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. AC Infinity does not extend the warranty to the replacement parts. I guess that makes sense since they would be in a state of perpetual free replacements. I bought a new one from Amazon that came with a new controller which is different from the controller 69 currently using. I decided that while it is very inconvenient and inefficient to monitor the tent through the day, I would rather finish this Frostbanger run without introducing a new unknown variable. I will continue using 3 circulating fans, the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already. A lot of TLC this week and she has bounced back! 😁Really had to dial in and give her the best environment possible. Flowers started to pop up below the canopy so I’m guessing all the defoliation was successful and she is coming back stronger than ever. Will watch for fox tailing as buds form to see if she is reacting from severe light stress early flowering days. Notes from the week: 9/15: Cut burnt tops off her today. Trimmed a lot of the burnt leaves. 9/19: She has recovered nicely from the light stress/burn. Flower stage does not seem to be affected to much. I have noticed some purple calxys and upper leaves near some tops seem to be fading and showing some purple as well. 😈

Switching to full flower nutrients, she loved the transplant, starting with half the recommended doses, growing some hairs so its te perfect moment to apply some Big One 1ml/l + TopBloom 2ml/l twice a week, to boost hairs growing and to create more bud spots. She really is turning in to a little bush i really like the structure ^^

Day 7 flowering: Well growmies, what a week this has been. These ladies have bought their A game to the party it seems. I have spent the week constantly moving stakes and re seating restrained branches. They are all responding really well to the different methods used to exploit their growth in the l.e.d . The topped girls are vigorously pushing the 4th nodes as mains and ate spreading out nicely to their pots edges. The #1Amnesia has really burst into life and is a huge cabbage of a girl. Leaves are nice and thick with a rubbery strength thanks to the silicon additions i think. Lots of huge fan leaves to power those thickening stems holding the numerous growing tips. I think she will be a very productive girl come harvest time Her Fim has given her a monster looking main head along with some really big secondary branches fighting through the thicket. An amazing looking lady already. #2 is also looking very nice too with her main shape now being "bush" instead of rectangular. Again lots of staking and leaf tucking will get the best from this productive girl. #3 is similar to #1 bit not as big looking in scale. She is pushing the plant next to her already so will need to be really held firm with some wire and brute force!. The 2 Girl scout cookies are a lot smaller looking in general but as a different hybrid mix , I am not surprised. They have both been opened right up with strong pegging and a week of constant training. The stems on them both will no doubt hold some nice sized fruits as they stewtchbinto space and with so many bud sites exposed to the lights , it should help boost the final yields. The 4th nodes on the #2 have set so perfectly to keep this training ongoing this way. Now the smaller sites can themselves see the light direct , they should also avoid just being popcorn buds and attempt to be the big boss.
