Flowering day 34 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The buds have developed incredibly nicely this week. The smell is getting more and more extreme :-) . The growth has slowly stopped as the full energy goes into the production of the buds. Watering was done twice this week, each time with 1.2 l (nutrients see table above) They were individually inspected and checked for their health. -Sunday September 8 switch to 12 12 -Defolition on the bottoms at F1, re-shave at F6. -Hung up a charcoal filter and exausting via a window -RLF down @50% -Light is up to 80% to reduce stretch and we are at around 1000 PPFD at canopy level now. 60x60cm tent used for my cuttings (I hope they survive, my cuttings have a high mortality) + a male in there that I don't want to flower while I have the Kalis flowering. The lights are just 4x e27 at around 30W total. The idea is to keep plants in veg there. Needs a fan to stay cool but fairly cheap solution.

Paint does not dry, nor does water boil under a watchful eye. I got a new supplemental light. Mars 600. It was only $100. Number 1 continues to brown out the hairs. Nearly all done now. Trichomes are getting milky. I trimmed off a larfy bid this week and speed dried it. Was awesome. Taste was amazing even with the speed dry. Number 2 continues to put on a show. It looks like this plant was in a blizzard. So many trichomes, loaded, and continuing to put them on. No amber, but they are definitely getting whiter. On top of those purple leaves, she is dazzling, and smells like juicy fruit bubble gum. I tried a small bud of this as well, it was excellent. Super mutant looks like she is going through a deficiency..... Again.... How much nutrients can a plant drink before it would be considered toxic? Just kidding, I'm from the probation era and have smoked green oil mixed with motor oil. 😊 So, in lieu of the awesome taste on the bud, I'm not doing a flush like everyone says for a week. Canna nutrients are pretty mellow. I figure if I flush the last day, I'll be ok. The super mutant, I figure this plant is going to grow forever and will definitely need a good flushing.

I appreciate every one of you 👊✌️🤙 Once she was down, her fan leaves were cut off and each branch was hung in the drying box and left to dry for 8 days. It was left in a cool dark place to slow drying time. Once the outer leaves were dry her buds were given a close trim and jarred for curing. I put a 62% boveda pack inside to ensure the humidity is stable during curing, although it's not crucial. The jar is burped once a day for a few days and then left approx a week inbetween the next couple of openings. After 3 weeks or so, you don't have to worry about burping if you wish to store for a while, or you can tuck right in like I do! Because I have 4 seperate quarters for other plants/strains in one tent, under one light, I've had to calculate these by dividing the conditions by 4 (4 sections in total sharing same conditions). This is the fairest and only way to work it out on average as a full tent. If you multiply by 4, it gives you the average amount for a full tent worth. Happy growing! 🦊

From what I've learnt since, by defoliating and not ensuring sufficient reserves in the Substrate after taking their reserves from the bigger fan leaves at strip, this left 1 pheno more hungry than the others, but still all 4 suffered to some degree which was really disappointing. I was too busy enjoying the festive period with family so its a good enough excuse! ;)
