During week 14 all my 'Fruity Terp'-ladies are continuing to flower and develop bigger and bigger buds. I have raised the EC-value in my 'FLEXITANK'-reservoir to 1,8 by adding more BIO NOVA nutrients. Now in full flowering my babies get VITASOL added to their other nutrients and THEY LOVE IT. The plants have a nice healthy dark green color, except one plant of THE PURPS from BC-BUD-Depot. This beauty is PURPLE as hell, she has purple colored leaves as well as buds! You can clearly see her in the pics...lol 👊😎 The plants exude a very fruity smell now, which is DELICIOUS! My two SANlight EVO4-120 LED-lamps are running on FULL POWER and do excellent in nurturing my trichome production! I SIMPLY LOVE THEM! The super-cropped plant of Strawberry Sour Diesel from DevilHarvestOriginal is doing well, she has a main-stem that is angled at 90 degrees now (see in pics). This way the buds will turn towards the light and can continue to grow in opposite to a topped plant.

🌸 Week 7 – Flower Stage: When Trouble Knocks, We Learn Grower: Dog Doctor Strain: Super Silver Haze Breeder: Zamnesia Seeds Light: Future of Grow Black Series 600W & ThinkGrow ICL-300 Environment: 8x8 Shared Tent – Controlled by TrolMaster System Temp: 29.4°C (day) / 25.6°C (night) Humidity: 64–68% CO₂: ~720 ppm Soil Temp: 24.8°C Watering: Manual (Hand Watering) Water Mix (per L): • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml • Aptus All-In-One Liquid – 1 ml • Plagron Power Buds – 1 ml • Plagron Sugar Royal – 1 ml • Plagron Green Sensation – 1 ml ⸻ 🌿 The Week the Storm Passed Through This week brought a little challenge to the garden — bud rot made an appearance. It’s never a welcome guest, but it’s part of the growing journey, and it teaches you more than any perfect run ever could. It started small: a couple of darker spots noticed deep inside one of the colas. Upon closer inspection, we confirmed it — Botrytis cinerea, or as growers call it, bud rot. Thankfully, it was localized and quickly handled, removing all affected material carefully to avoid spreading spores. Despite how dramatic macro photos can make it look, the loss was minimal. The rest of the canopy remains healthy, strong, and radiant under the LEDs. The girls keep thriving like the true champions they are. ⸻ 🧠 Educational Spotlight – What Is Bud Rot (and What It Isn’t) Bud rot is a fungal infection caused by Botrytis cinerea. It thrives in warm, humid, stagnant environments — the kind of microclimate that can form in thick buds during late flower. It usually begins inside the bud, invisible at first, and works its way outward, leaving behind a grayish-brown, dusty rot that can ruin entire flowers if unnoticed. Early warning signs: • Brown or gray fuzz inside the cola • Dry, dead sugar leaves sticking out of healthy buds • A musty or “old hay” smell Prevention is everything: 🌬️ Keep strong airflow through and between plants 💨 Maintain active extraction and oscillating fans 🌡️ Lower humidity to 50% or below during late flower 🌗 Avoid large night/day temperature swings ✂️ Remove excess inner foliage (selective defoliation) For a deep dive into identifying, preventing, and treating bud rot, check out Zamnesia’s excellent guide: 🔗 Zamnesia – Bud Rot: The Cannabis Grower’s Guide - https://www.zamnesia.com/grow-weed/563-bud-rot-cannabis-grower-guide ⸻ 💬 Reflection – The Grower’s Responsibility Let’s be honest — this one’s on me. It’s a new setup, and with every new tent comes a new rhythm to learn. The temperatures are still higher than I’d like, and humidity sometimes pushes the edge. But that’s what growing is — progress through imperfection. The key is to act fast, learn faster, and never let one small setback derail the entire grow. The good news: both Super Silver Haze phenos continue to look absolutely stunning — symmetrical, resilient, and full of that legendary vigor that made this strain an icon. ⸻ 🌸 What to Expect Next As we move into Week 8, we’ll be: • Reducing humidity and increasing airflow • Keeping close watch on moisture and leaf density • Fine-tuning the TrolMaster environment controls • Allowing buds to fatten, harden, and mature into their final form We’re entering the critical ripening phase, where patience and precision make all the difference. ⸻ 🌾 Grower-to-Grower Corner – Preventing Bud Rot Since every grower faces this risk sooner or later, here are a few small habits that make a massive difference: 1. Prune with intent: Create small “air highways” between branches so moisture can escape. 2. Nighttime is key: Rot thrives in cool, humid nights. Keep fans on and air moving even when lights are off. 3. Monitor VPD: Around 1.2–1.4 kPa is ideal for mid-late flower; beyond 1.6 increases risk. 4. Inspect daily: Use your eyes and your nose — the first clue is often a smell, not a sight. 5. Clean the space: Mold spores can live in your tent, filters, and even fans. Sanitize between runs. Remember: Bud rot doesn’t mean failure; it means evolution. Every grow that survives it creates a smarter grower. ⸻ 💚 Closing Thoughts This week was a humbling reminder that even under the best light, nature still has the final say. But she also rewards those who pay attention, act fast, and grow with love. The Super Silver Haze continues to honor her legacy — strong, aromatic, and beautifully structured. Thank you to Zamnesia Seeds, Aptus Holland, Plagron, Future of Grow, ThinkGrow, and TrolMaster for helping make this journey what it is. Day 21 of flower (day 72 since germination). The plants have continued to grow at, but the vertical growth slowed down mid week, and I think it is done not. One stem on the middle plant grew past the lights, again, so that stem got supercropped a second time. I found a couple more pollen sacs on the right plant on Tuesday, but I think they were just missed on the first round of plucking, so I removed them. I haven't seen anymore since and I've been checking the full length of every stem. I received a roots organics dry amendment sample pack from Aurora so I top dressed each pot with 1TBSP of Phos Rock and 1TBSP of Super Phos Rock (I only used both because I didn't have enough to feed a full dose of just one). Each plant was also fed 700mL compost tea, today, that was brewed for 24 hours.

26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. I'm very excited to see them adapt and progress! 😁 there are videos above with before and after of my LST process. Thanks for checking out my diary 🍃 ✌️

Started some Fox Farms Grow Big this week, and they seem to have taken well. Growing very nicely, I'm tentatively trying a very mild LST on one of the Trainwreck plants, the one that is the smallest so far. I've never done any LST and am curious to see if this even works. Am normally partial to just letting the plants grow on their own.

Growth Stage: Vegetative Environment: 140 × 70 tent Temperature: ~24.5–25 °C Humidity: ~60 % RH Light cycle: 18/6 Light intensity: ~400 PPFD. ☀️ Watering / Feeding: Watered every 2–3 days, based on pot weight, with approx. 1.5 L per watering using RO water + CalMag. 💧 Additionally, the plant received 1x Startrex during this week. Observations: Growth remained steady and healthy. The plant still has a slightly thin structure, but overall looks vigorous. 🌿 Leaf color is normal green, briefly a bit lighter after topping, but quickly returned to a healthy tone. At the end of the week, the plant was topped above the 4th node, aiming to keep 6 main branches. ✂️ The topping was handled very well, no visible stress reaction, and growth continued almost immediately. 🙂 Structure is now much more even compared to the earlier stretch. Notes: Week 4 was very positive. The plant transitioned from vertical growth into structural development smoothly. With topping completed successfully, the focus now shifts to recovery and branch development in Week 5. 🌱💪

From previous experience, the next week should really fatten these buds. My last two feedings were PH water because I saw some slight tip burn. There is some trics starting to build up now but at this point I know she will not be crippler. When it is time, I plan to really fade her out and off nutrients. There is still new growth at the tops of each cola and I think these will be the biggest ones I have grown so far. She looks healthy and happy so far but is slowwwwwww.

This week things are swelling quick great ! The purple is showing up more but still only trace amounts. The black has no signs of changing colour however I already know my pheno ain’t the one ☝️ . But the purple shows promise!! Slow at cloning and a higher mortality rate then the black amnesia haze. This one almost every single clone I made all root amazingly ! Highly recommend for its yields and ease in the grow room. You can really feed it high . Still unknown why the purp has curling leaves but from others grows I see it’s fairly common . I’m guessing it prefers a slightly more alkaline PH . I’ve been using citric acid to ph correct and every time I sway a little low like 6.4-6.2-5.9 the plants leaves curl slightly more. Most mixes are in the 6.8-6.5 range however.
