Great news—my Banana Kush seed has popped and is standing tall! 🎉 Tiny cotyledons are already showing a healthy green, and I’m excited to watch this girl take off over the next few days. Here’s to a strong start! #BananaKush #Seedling #GrowDiaries **Day 5 – Seedling Update** Great news: all three Banana Kush seedlings are settling into veg! 🌱 The cotyledons look bright and healthy, and each plant has its first true leaf set. They did stretch a touch at the start, but the lowered light and steady airflow should help them thicken up fast. --- ### Environment * **Temp / RH:** 25 °C day – 21 °C night / **75 % RH** * **Light:** LED at 35 %, now **20 cm** above the canopy, 18/6 schedule * **Airflow:** Two fans have been running unfortunatley only since yesterday to keep fresh air moving and strengthen the stems * **Medium:** Light mix with extra perlite in 0.5 L peat pots on a seed-heat mat ### Watering & Feed * Still giving only **plain Gerolsteiner Naturell** (pH ≈ 6.2 out of the bottle) – no nutrients yet; runoff looks clean. ### Observations * Stems are a little lanky from the earlier light distance, but colour is good and the new growth looks happy. * Roots should start circling the peat pots soon; a gentle tug already shows light resistance. ### Next Moves 1. **Up-pot in 3–4 days** into 3 L Air-Pots and bury an extra couple of centimetres of stem to fix the stretch. 2. Keep RH around 70–75 % for another week, then start lowering to ~60 % as they bulk up. 3. Gradually ramp the light to 40–45 % once they’re settled in the new pots. So far, so sweet—here’s hoping for chunky Banana Kush colas down the road! 🍌✨

Day 71: The smell is pretty strong at this point and the buds are becoming very sticky. I dropped the lights to around 28cms last week. I'll further lower them at the end of this week, as I expect harvest in week 13 or 14. Also watered her today. I'll leave the nutrients at the current level throughout the week and increase to 4ml/l each for the final week before flushing. Day 73: She's packing on a lot of weight recently. The top leaves on the main cola got really purple by now. At first I assumed that it was light burn, but now I think it has actually to do with its genetics. I also checked the trichomes today; around 90% of the trichomes are still clear.

Day 9 I had no choice but to defoliate, the canopy was getting way to dense and humidity was hard to control even with my 30 pin dehumidifier. Hopefully will not affect to much. Probably I will do another defoliation on day 21. TDS stays at 550PPM this week and CO2 at 1200PPM.

Grow diary 11 Stage 4 Days 31-40 Day 31 Turned power up to 85% on the mars hydro ts1000. Mines one of the old ones you need to stick a screw driver in to alter it. Day 36 Removed the single finger fan leaves and the 1st 3 fingered leaves. Day 39 Removed the 4 fan leaves from where she was topped last week. The start of this stage we hit a heat wave, day after day of heat. I had my humidifier on most of the 9 days. The tent didn't hit the temps I thought it would so that means I have my loft under a bit better control. The plant really kicked into gear this week, around day 34 she started to explode in growth. So far I have only done some lite defoliation by removing some of the 1st leaves that weren't getting any light anymore. The Bruce banner was probably hit the most with over watering but is bouncing back. She is the ugly duckling of the grow. TEMP Max 32.2 Avg 26.5 Min 21.9 Humid Max 71.2% Avg 58.4% Min 50.3% VPD Max 2.32 Avg 1.44 Min 0.85

🌿 Week 9: The Grand Root Reveal & Bud Sites Popping! 🏺🥦 Strain: Sticky Broccoli Automatic (Zamnesia) Stage: Mid-Flowering / Bud Development Light Cycle: 18/6 📝 The General Vibe: Welcome to Week 9! The stretch has slowed down, and the "Sticky Broccoli" is officially shifting all her energy into flower production. The canopy is an absolute jungle of tops! Those red and green LST clips did exactly what they were supposed to do, breaking the apical dominance and giving us a beautiful, bushy, multi-topped structure. White pistils are shooting out everywhere, and the bud sites are starting to look like perfect little pompoms. 🏺 The "Vase" Experiment Reveal! This is the moment I’ve been waiting for! I finally pulled back the top layer to check on our hidden structure, and the results are amazing. The main stalk is incredibly thick and woody, and you can see the roots actively gripping and growing right over the little blue vase nested in the soil. The experiment is a massive success so far! She is anchored in deep and looking incredibly sturdy. 🍽️ The Menu (Nutrients) - Powered by Plagron, Hesi & BioBizz: Continuing to push the bloom nutrients to help these flowers swell. Plagron Green Sensation: (The secret weapon for heavier yields and resin production) BioBizz Bio-Down: Keeping the pH dialed in around 5.9 - 6.0 for the coco mix. 🌿 Plant Progress & Observations: Structure: Bushy and dense. The internodal spacing is tight, which means these colas are going to stack up nicely. Health Check: I am noticing some slight yellowing/crisping on the very tips and edges of some of the older, mid-tier fan leaves. It looks like a little bit of nutrient burn from pushing the bloom feeds, or a slight pH fluctuation. I'll be keeping a close eye on the runoff and might dial the EC back just a fraction on the next watering so she stays happy. Update: 10.03.26 She is getting better, been giving her Fish-mix and TNT for two times now. 👽 The Garden Guardian: Our heavily tattooed Kewpie garden manager is still holding it down in the corner of the tent. No pests, no bad vibes, just pure Eternity Cup focus! Let the bud swelling begin! Growers Love! 💚

They grow in a bestial way with the support of the nutrients zamnesia, Bio nova and canna. Question or the day after tomorrow de ire whether to grow them with the scrog method. Nutrients make all the difference. Big difference. 12 or more cm in a week.

11/17 Week 8 Man I will be glad when this grow is over, if making mistakes promotes learning well... Im a fricking PHD ... Ok progress on Maggie the yellow is limited to the very top as buds are building in particular those a couple inches from the top. Thinking another root drench is in order, cant hurt and letting her dry a bit as a prep. Looks like tomorrow Layla doing ok she exhibits far fewer problems but the same issue are present she is just a hell of plant along with the Runtz which she shares the tent. Thinking about the feeding tomorrow will decide what to do then. They have plenty of time to finish up, had some issues on germination on the grow following so looks like it may be delayed a week from the scheduled 2 weeks. Maggie may need it. 11/19 Have stumbled onto to something it seems. The further I move the lights out, they are now at twice the "ideal" placement of 14" at 28" and the yellowing is disappearing to a great extent. Problem with this of course is not enough light at bud sites not on the canopy which lets face it is most of your bud. It is absolutely something that makes the plants insanely susceptible to light burn. New one for me but maybe some of yall know so making a question of it. Pics at lights out only and I missed today so new pics later if I get back in time. Update : Defoliated and tightened training on all three to spread things out from the center and open up the light and air paths. Raising the lights is working just wish I knew why as lights are higher than crap with little room for more than a few more inches. Would drop the watts to 450 but need the heat to keep the grow room level as our temps here swing 40 degrees all the time. Something I learned with the help of a carbon filter. If things normalize will begin dropping lights to see what happens. 11/20 Setting the lights at 24" as I am not risking yield any further than that on Layla and the Runtz, Have the canopy as level as it can be with Brandy getting the least light being on a coco coir block (heh) for height, which she is responding well to since I opened up the plant and no longer worried over mold issues in that main bud. Have Layla on a milk crate to bring her into decent light as well as the Runtz. She is just a lovely thing building those white crystalline buds. Maggie has turned into a beast at least I know her root ball is huge from the growth above. Seriously defoliated her removing several small lower branches and leaves blocking light and air paths. Next feed will be continuing what seems to be working, Epsom salt and bloom nuets (no calmag with epsom salt) with a foliar feed after lights out which may well be with calmag. Foliar feeding today at lights out, one quart sprayer with 1ml CaliMagic and 0.5ml wetting agent un-PH warmed to 75 F before spraying (our tap water comes out at @50F so...), just trying to hit hard and effective * New Pics after foliar Update Folks its taken 8 weeks and a final piece of the puzzle provided by Grey_wolf resulted in a near full strength cal-mag foliar feeding and the last def bites the dust. See what happens from here but its the first time I have felt good about this grow since the bad time germing at week one. *big sigh of relief* Have a whole list of things I will never do again in soil more about that at harvest. Right now I need to work on why calcium is blocked at the roots but thats another day right now I just wanna look at em. 😁 11/22 Another foliar feed same as before just diluted 30% and all three got it today JIC Cannot find a pale leaf or top and hairs are standing up on the top buds for once and buds building nice on the lower ares the defs were cleared up first. Going to stop the foliars for a few days see what happens but will resume at first sign of need. Maggie has potential even after all this and we going to help her be all she can :D 11/22 Feeding day - Bio-Bloom 7ml - calmag 4ml - Recharge .5tsp / gal at 6.5PH to all three. No foliar today 11/23 The thickness of the hair growth on Layla is amazing! Will try and get pics at lights out of it if my crappy camera will catch it. Never seen anything like it, once again THIS this is what we intended by growing Stardawg :) Update: Pics and vid hope it comes through well enough as for the green in that tent and the dense hairs on Layla
