Looking For A Keeper cream of the crop seeds purple paralysis 2nd April 2021 First of all ... Phew!!!! That was a long grow!! I've done all of the Main trimming and have a heap of Jars full of Stinky Buds ready to begin the curing process. 😍😍 It was a challenge growing in new conditions during Summer with Temps often getting above 45 degrees celcius Thunderstorms and High winds became an issue once or twice and finally the worst part was the Bloody Caterpillars 😣 Those buggers gave me the absolute shits for the last 5 weeks of the plants life . These plants actually started from clones taken from a Purple paralysis plant that I was hoping to flower last year. However due to an unavoidable trip away I lost that plant but the clones survived. So then my plan became to plant them both into a garden bed filled with my soil mix which basically consisted of locally sourced Red dirt and washed river sand mixed with Cattle manure , worm castings , garden lime and Lucerne mulch. The Plants thrived thru the summer months and into Autumn and ended up yielding 19 ounces plus Lots of good quality trim. I love this strain and have definately found myself a Keeper in this one . I'd really like to get the oppurtunity to try other strains from Cream of the crop seeds and maybe I will before too long. Good day to every one. The plant feeling like it should be, flowering without any problem. I really like the genetic. Hope to finish within 2 weeks. Look at these beautiful and long inflorescences, which are covered with crystals every day and pull their antennae to the sides. trichomes change color. The aroma is tolerable and I am not using the filter yet.

Into week 5 of flower and it's time for a change out of the Nutrients and add some Fresh RO water and Power To Bloom followed 4 days later with some UMP. She is bouncing back just nicely and now takes on more feedings so running the RO water has been a daily task. She looks good and producing well.

Unfortunately, all three are yellowing, showing signs of deficiency already. I'll continue to monitor them for any changes. I think the cause was they were in their peat pellets getting straight water, then when transplanted into their 5g pots which were pre-moistened with straight well water that was ph'd to 6.2 but had zero nutrients. They have now received one feeding and will get another in 2-3 days which I hope will help to bring their color back. 10/10- All three Tropicana Cookies are still not where I'd like them to be. I'll give them another feed tomorrow and see if that helps. They are so small and young at this point that I don't want to feed more often until I know that their roots are developed a bit more. 10/12- Today I fed the girls with a 10min. fill cycle, during which I monitored the moisture level of the medium via a soil hydrometer, then drained the system. 10/14- There goes the first week for the Tropicana Cookies and honestly, it could have been better. With this being my first attempt at 'Hydro' I fully expected to have a few hiccups along the way and this is just one of those that I will learn from and move forward! Did LST and topped Pheno 1 & 2, 3 is too funky to mess with. I think PH was just my issue and possible too high intensity light as I lowered to 60%, but also brought my PH to 6.5 so I'm guessing that helped too.

Into week 8 - I think I've managed to time these well... yes, they've had 40C+ temps - but only in the really final weeks and I bunched them towards the wall so they got more shade and less of the infernal sunshine. Sometimes you can have too much of a good thing... the heat is good but it sends them crazy and stunts their growth really badly. Feed schedule is mostly the same except in the last 10 days I've skipped the feed on 2 nights because I wanted to make sure they've extracted all they can from the soil/water/nutrients. It's also a bit of an experiment to see if it pushed the calyxes to swell a (little) bit more? I've got some photos running alongside these and I might make a diary for them as well. The very last plant in the video above is the Sweet Seeds "Gorilla Girl XL" - amazing colours that the camera can't pick up properly. My pick of the bunch aesthetically, she exploded beautifully. The very first plant is the Barney's "Gorilla Glue" auto - this and one of the "Sweet Mimosa XL's" seem to be a week slower than the others. Still a lot more furry than finished :)

Day one of flower for the London Pound Cake and Purple Shah. I moved the Blueberry Muffin into another veg tent for a week or two. They’re early finishers so when I move them back everything should harvest around a similar timeline. Fed them all with an Organic Alf Alfa seed sprout fermentation. The triacantanol in the Alf Alfa makes these things go crazy if you don’t overdo it. Add some coconut water and aloe and youve got yourself organic plant steroids. The growth rate will cause you to have an increased need for ca mg and nutrients which in organics may not be readily available. Top dress or feed ahead of the curve.

Die San Fernando Valley OG Kush hatte in der vergangenen Woche einen extrem ausgeprägten Stretch. Innerhalb weniger Tage entwickelte sie sich von einer Pflanze mit etwa 35 cm Höhe zu einem Exemplar von über 60 cm. Das Längenwachstum war deutlich stärker als bei allen anderen Pflanzen im Zelt und sie überragt nun die anderen.
