The plants are on autopilot and beginning to stack buds and put on trichomes. I raised the lights because there was slight light bleaching on the tops of a few colas. The left pheno is going to take longer to flower i can tell. The right pheno is finishing quicker and has much smaller yet frostier nugs.

She’s onto flower. Showing Pistols 48 hours after the flip to an 11 on 13 off light schedule. She is doing great and is the biggest of the three in the tent. As she’s a true Sativa I added the first layer of trellis netting in anticipation of her stretch. 8-9 weeks of flower ahead for this girl.

July 18: Plants are recovering from hail damage 7 days ago. Weather is good now but it’s fairly hot reaching 30 C the last couple days and about 21 C overnight which is quite warm for Edmonton. Starting force flowering tonight. That is 10 h darkness plus 2 h virtual darkness using 730 nm far red light at dusk to initiate dark mode. In garage at 9 pm, few seconds of 730 nm far red and then out of garage at 7 am. 12 h darkness within the ‘26 h day’. Your mileage will vary at different latitudes but that timing works for me here at 53 N. July 22: force flowering seems to be agreeing with her. Still stretching and looking pretty good despite the hail damage. Started use of Plagron Power Buds and I still need to get malted barley to use as a top dressing.

Es ist soweit! Am Freitag habe ich die fünf Easy Buds nach knapp 11 1/2 Wochen abgeschnitten und geerntet. Leider musste ich feststellen, dass eine Pflanze ziemlich stark befallen war. Ich vermute eine Milbenart oder möglicherweise Fliegeneier. Unterhalb der Blätter waren etliche dunkelgelbe und dunkelbraune Eier, die man auf den ersten Blick kaum erkennen konnte. Bei genauerem Hinsehen sieht man jedoch, dass sich der Befall auf die ganze Pflanze ausgeweitet hatte. Glücklicherweise blieben die vier anderen Pflanzen verschont. Aus diesem Grund trockne ich die Pflanzen auch getrennt voneinander. Die befallene Pflanze wollte ich nicht direkt wegwerfen, sondern erstmal trocknen lassen. Im Nachhinein werde ich schauen, wie ich mögliche Schadensbegrenzung betreiben kann. Die vier gesunden Pflanzen werden in einem geschlossenen Zelt in einem Trocknungsbeutel getrocknet. Die befallene Pflanze habe ich in dem Folienzelt aufgehängt und mit einer Plane abgedeckt. Nach wenigen Tagen der Trocknung sieht soweit eigentlich alles gut aus. Die Eier scheinen nicht mehr zu schlüpfen, sondern fallen von der Blüte ab oder verschrumpeln zu Kompost. Ich hoffe, dass es dabei bleibt. Der Geruch hat sich nach dem Abschneiden deutlich verändert. Schon nach der kurzen Trocknungszeit kann ich einen intensiveren Geruch feststellen, der sich noch nicht so richtig beschreiben lässt. Die Blüten waren stark mit den sogenannten "Sugar Leaves" verwachsen, weshalb ich sie grob getrimmt habe, um sie zum Trocknen aufzuhängen. Nachdem die Blüten vollständig getrocknet sind, werde ich die Buds noch einmal einzeln trimmen und durch meine Trimm-Maschine von Vevor jagen. Der Ernteprozess hat zu zweit circa eine Stunde gedauert. Die Pflanzen waren zum Zeitpunkt der Ernte noch sehr gesund und kräftig. Die Verwurzelung war trotz des geschlossenen Topfes sehr gut. Die schönste Bud hat definitiv die zentrale Pflanze, Greta, ergeben. Nass hätte ich den Bud auf mindestens 12 g geschätzt. Ein Gesamtgewicht des nassen Pflanzenmaterials habe ich nicht ermittelt. Sobald alles trocken und fertig beschnitten ist, werde ich das Tagebuch um den trockenen Betrag ergänzen. Stand jetzt würde ich schätzen, dass der Ertrag aller Pflanzen bei circa 40-50 g liegt, was mich für meinen ersten Grow ziemlich zufrieden stellt, besonders in Anbetracht dieser wirklich sehr simplen Strain. I do not delete my teas and let the plant pots dry out slightly before feeding.

I topped both plants once thus far, cleared their lower nodes up to the 3rd node on "nemo" and 4th on "v" names are easier then saying seed 1 and seed 4. added pics and video of day 34/35 for these two. hope y'all can stand the slight off hue from grow light. pics/vids are taken on phone camera thru grow room glasses, when watered the 3 gal pots are heavy and not easy to yank out for a picture.

Perfect tropical-like weather. No problems to report. Excellent growth. Still rearranging net tent as this bastard stretch a lot. The one that should have the fastest flowering is, on the other hand, terribly late compared to het sisters. But how long does this beast still want to grow? Royal Queen Seeds officially claims Pineapple Kush is better suited indoors than outdoors, for now RQS is wrong.
