Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. Plant has been a little neglected on the light side of things as it’s pushed against the back of the tent but still growing nicely. One more week and it goes from a 10 to a 20L pot and a 1m2 tent with the Mars fc4800.

I had alot of issues with my environment, tools, auto-watering, So I did alot of mistakes, but I could take some clones that I'll use in a next run but I wont create a new diary for it. 👋👋👋

Gro buckets held great while I was away! Top soil was a lil dry but the plants thrived through the bottom feed they got. Smoothie is a lil slow to the party, not showing strong signs of growth.. Will be brewing a tea for them to give in about 24 hrs. I see signs of pre flower on most, will top dress with bloom and girl flower power.

Topped the plants this week. I didn't top the first plant because well it topped itself already. It even seems like it's doing it again. When you look at the top foto the left shoot seems to be splitting again. Very curious to how it will develop, but i'm a little worried because the main stem looks a little bit thin. The fifth plant has some yellow discoloration which i dont's see on the other plants.

Additional considerations to be uploaded asap regarding : - Biochar pH 8,5; - Biochar nutrients absorption and retention capacity in relation with organic growing; - Biochar and Coco Coir micro and macro nutrients binding capacity; - moon effect during plant life cycle; - huge vitality has been noticed during crescent moon appearance; - plant is asking for more and more feeding; - growing will be abandoned for no more than 96 hours therefore a self irrigating cotton rope wick system has been implemented. Esta semana ya realice la poda. Se encuentra en estos momentos en etapa de secado dentro de una caja especial para secados de flores que uso siempre y nunca me falla. En humedo hay 195g y utilice una lampara led de 150w en todas sus etapas. Próximamente estaré publicando cuando este en curado.
