I started germination of 2 Jack F1 beans on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plugs were just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made holes. Than I sowed my beans into the holes. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the holes in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plugs into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see some sprouts. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plugs planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get these ladies situated into their new home. Cant wait! Just some background information on my last run with the Jack f1. It was relatively strong during veg. But was middle of the pack in size after the 6 weeks of vegetative growth. After the flower stretch she became the largest quick! With a enormous stretch rate of 300%... Yes she tripled in size. Forcing me too super crop her which she didnt like at all. Setting her back and definitely hurting her all around yeild. Despite the staggering, unexpected stretch amount. Leading to the stress inducing supercropping. She still pulled off immaculate bud structre, density, and trichome production. She just took much longer than she should have... and didnt pack on the whopper size buds I'd expect out of these genetics. Definitely learned alot out of my first go. So I'm amped for the second run with this variety. This time around I'm going to anticipate the stretch and cut veg time shorter. To roughly 4 weeks or 1 ft in height. Also utilize a bit of very light lst to their side branching to open them up a little bit. Without stressing them out... well hopefully.

Week went again very uneventful. The plant does what she is supposed to be doing (gaining weight) :). Still lots of new pistils appearing overnight, I am checking the Trichomes daily, however, everything remains milky, with only very little % of amber trichomes. Once amber colours start increasing I will start flushing.

* Increased PPM TO 1050 * I’m getting more fruity, citrus smell now. It’s not overpowering just really light. When it rubs on my hands and clothes the residue is more potent. * The 2 late flowering plants don’t seem to be progressing look the same to me. Maybe they are more on the photo period pheno with sativa dominance.

Raised Ec to 1.7, the banana punch is further along than the Cherry and has some trichs on the leaves already despite the buds being in a early stage, the Cherry Cola continues to grow in height and overtook the other this week, I recalibrated my Ph/Ec Pen to ensure accuracy. humidity is quite high at the moment but I expect it to drop where I live in the next few weeks hopefully! 3 plants in the 80x80cm tent has the humidity higher than id like but the plants seem happy enough for now. The 3 are guzzling the water, Not sure exactly how much but I topped up the reservoir by at least 30 liters this week.

Comenzamos esta aventura el dia 1 Agosto 2024. Hidratare por 24 hrs en vaso de agua con agua oxigenada, posteriormente pasaremos a servilleta y dejaremos se 24 a 48 hrs para pasar a maceta. Lunes 5 de Agosto hacemos trasplante a maceta definitiva.

Have got the pH cycling between 5.8 to 6.8 every 3 to 4 days. Started lowering the nutrients in preparation for harvesting in @ two weeks. Getting excited to get to the finish line. I smelled her today for the first time when I walked into the Batcave but the Grow Chamber is doing very good at controlling any huge odor. The humidity is stable in the low 40's as is the air temp which stays between 70-75 degrees. Added some Fugazi to Daphne's playlist. - recently i have seen articles about keeping pH constant. I will try this on my next grow.

Getting the chop tomorrow all resin glands are milky with a few ambers on the buds. Not had a single problem

Hey now, hope everyone has been well. Super excited football season is finally here so things are about to get busy. I went out of town for 4 days and the plants struggled a little bit with the PH getting slightly too high before I returned. I also came back to see that some type of insect was munching away on the lower leaves of this little Sundae Driver, so I sprayed the plant and coco with neem oil, but hopefully they didn't do much damage before I can get them under control I have never experienced insect problems indoors, likely because I grow in Coco and not Soil. However, I left a 5 gallon airpot full of coco from a previous grow outside for a couple weeks by mistake, and pretty sure bugs got into. I won't make that rookie mistake again. Anyways the rest of the ladies are looking pretty good, They are almost getting what I consider a full dose of nutrients, even though it half of the manufacturers recommended dosage. I am feeding all Gen Hydro cal mag, Armor Si, and maxi grow. I also add some food grade hydrogen peroxide to keep the reservoir fresh for around 10 days or so but I clean it once a week. Not sure why GD website doesn't allow me to enter GHE under the old or new name. I did get all the ladies transplanted from solo cups to airpots on day 16, and it took 24 hours or so for them to recover from the transplant and start growing again. I am running 3 of the 3.4 gallon, and 2 of the 5.4 gallon just because that is what I had available. I hopefully top them all sometime this week for the first time, as soon as the roots are a little stronger. I let them grow to 7 nodes or so before I top them and make sure they're growing fast. Hopefully I can still mainline the Sundae Driver, she looks healthy other than those two leaves chomped off. All the plants are on their 5th nodes, except for the Green Crack 2.0 which is only on her 4th node. We got another heat wave coming through my region that I am not too excited about but at least its earlly in the game and I don't need to crank this light up yet. I am only running it at 30% and its putting off plenty to keep these ladies happy. Hoping to get a topping done this week, then another one next week, and be ready to flip to flower by week 7 or so. ***UPDATE*** ITS CHOPPIN DAY!! Late in day 87 I was going for macros. Made the decision while seeing MANY yellow trichomes that Wedding Glue from FastBuds is DONE! Attaching pics to the beginning of the weeks uploads. She sure turned out pretty asf didn't she? Lights out occurs in like 30min, and I'm going to work through the dark period stripping the large fans off. Utilizing my green Christmas lights hung up above lol. May turn light on low for a quick pic before chopping/hanging. Next update will be harvest! 2 Girls 1 Cup week 12? Hopefully the finish is this week... My my my how WG has fattened up the last 2 weeks. Trying to get some good macros since it's too hard to hold the scope to my phone and focus everything. Probably better for the existing trics too since they're not being touched. Day 84- these trics are taking their sweet time to ripen. Was considering picking up some GHE Ripen to speed the process up.. especially because a local shop is closing and everything is 40% off. Let's keep it simple this run. VERY heady effect that hits me like a friggin wave. Creativity and energy uplifted for sure.
