**Week 8 - Third Week of Flower** Things are getting wild in the Donutz tent! After the insane stretch last week, the plants have turned the space into a full-on jungle. The start of Week 8 called for drastic measures, and the results are setting the stage for explosive bud production. **Key Updates**: - **Aggressive Defoliation**: On Day 1 of the third flower week, the plants underwent a *brutal* defoliation. Every bud site that had started to develop its own leaves was stripped of its fan leaves, allowing light to flood the canopy. Even the smallest sites now have excellent exposure, giving them the best chance to mature into chunky nugs in the coming weeks. Despite the intensity of the trim, the plants are resilient and primed to bounce back strong. - **Boosted Nutrients**: To support the plants after the stress of defoliation, I added another 5-6g of Greenhouse Feeding Bloom per plant. This ensures the soil stays nutrient-rich and gives the plants the resources they need to recover and thrive. - **Watering**: Still rocking reverse osmosis (RO) water, ensuring clean and efficient hydration without any surprises. **Observations**: - The canopy is significantly cleaner and more open, with light now reaching deeper into the lower sections. - The plants are handling the defoliation well, with no immediate signs of stress or shock. - Bud sites are already looking promising, with visible development and an even distribution across the canopy. **Looking Ahead**: The next few weeks will be all about letting the plants recover and watching the buds stack up. With improved light penetration and a fresh dose of nutrients, everything is lined up for some impressive development. She's doing so well not doing much but feed her and got her a wee defold.

The beginning of flowering was worrying us, we had yellowing and weakness of the leaves, but after a defoliation the plant seems to have re-balanced and seems to be going great again.

These have got so tall!! Some stress from the light as it’s only a small tent can’t get the light up any more I have moved up the fan and the light a little !

29.06. Rainbow Sherbet 1# Day 65# 1# is always thirstier than the others, at the very beginning she didn't like the strong sun at all, so I moved her to a mild shade where she adapted nicely, then slowly moved her more and more to the sun, where she is now constantly in direct sunlight and except that she gets thirsty again and starts to rebel against direct sunlight... until the problem mentioned below, she behaved great in the sun. Rainbow Sherbet 2# Day 63# The second one was affected a lot and today I removed a lot of its leaves again, it is missing 40 to 50% of its leaf mass, but it is holding on. 29.06. The plants have finally started growing again, some have almost completely recovered, some are still recovering, and some are in critical condition. The plants stopped growing for almost a week, maybe even that long, during those days they literally made no progress, the situation only worsened to the extent that I was sure that all but one plant would wither... There were storms yesterday and the day before yesterday, and that's why I'm late with the update because I couldn't take a picture of them, the gusts of wind were really strong. Watering is now more frequent and abundant, now I water them every 3rd or 4th day, everything depends on the temperature on those days, whether there is wind, how much moisture there is, etc. The last time they were watered was before the storm and they are already thirsty today as you can see in the pictures, it will be a day and I will water them in the morning. Today I removed their leaves again and now I can freely say that they have twice as few leaves as they should, so when it's time for defoliation, I probably won't do it at all, or at least not a lot. The day before yesterday it was the end of the ninth week for the plants, now they are already in the tenth, but in order not to miss the ninth week, I will write it in the ninth and I will write the next update 2 days earlier, more precisely, on time. The day before yesterday it also rained, there was a downpour for about 40 minutes, but the spray that I sprayed on the plants failed to absorb, it simply stuck to the leaf, it is greasy, you can see that in the pictures, the leaves are shining. I think the biggest problem was caused by the fact that it sticks to the leaf and when the sun is strong, the leaf simply burns. In general, do not use the product from the last picture, it can easily kill the plants. Most of the plants have almost recovered and are getting better, however, the rain can't stop that shit and I also tried to wash it, but it's not worth it, so there is a high probability that the problem will return when the temperatures rise again and the UV is almost extreme and that could be a problem... the temperatures have normalized again to 30 during the day, but in 4-5 days they are announcing again around 36-7.. I will copy the problem that befell the plants from the previous two diaries of other strains from a few days ago in order not to explain everything again, so whoever is interested should read it in more detail. 25.06. the condition is medium sad... the plants have not progressed at all, why? Well, because I'm a moron who doesn't think... Basically, what happened.. I sprayed the plants with an organic preparation against thrips and similar pests and if there was no need for it because this is growing outside and absolutely these little things can't do anything for them except something miserable to slow down their growth, but nothing terrible... and now, I didn't even want it to slow them down miserably, so I ordered a product called "SMC Spidermite Control" I sprayed the plants overnight, the next day when I came to the site, I had something to see... which is the worst I sprayed all the plants, instead of checking on one and only then spraying the others...autos I wanted to spray all the same, luckily I only sprayed 5 of them, as if God himself told me "wait until tomorrow to see how the plants will react" and continue...I come to the site and I have something to see...all the plants, but all, some more, some less, but the leaves were massacred blue, black, purple, there were all colors, everything was there, but the least healthy leaves, as if I had sprayed them with the biggest poison, I think that even in that case they would have passed better... was it the product itself or the sun that was strong during the day (I sprayed them at night and the nights were around 18 C in the coldest part of the night, so they had time to dry, it's not that they couldn't dry, but it all stuck to sheets, it was all shining, I think they could see how bright it was from the plane, but literally... I removed almost 50% of the leaf mass from some plants, from some smaller ones... the tips that were supposed to grow and be ready for a new topping just started, so they had stopped completely for a couple of days literally... the situation is now as you can see in the pictures, there are a few leaves that appeared after spraying with that product, and it is still appearing, but very little, just, just, and this there was no point in leaving the leaves that I plucked because they were completely destroyed, I have never seen them in my life... The site I bought it on said that the preparation was organic and completely safe, nowhere did it say that it can literally kill the plants, not even on the preparation itself... I am very sad about this, I have been spraying them with clean water every morning before sunrise since it appeared and the tops have slowly started to grow, this crap is appearing less and less, and I have no more leaves where should I remove it, I would just kill the plants... I hope they will recover (except for one plant that is in a critical condition and the automatics that were sprayed are also in a very critical condition, they are young and will hardly survive this) but if not, I have another white runtz that is not in the diary, it is a little more than 3 weeks old, so I will transplant it into 200 liters of soil, so at least something will come out... I feel very sorry for the plants, I already have enough money invested, and this is also my therapy, cultivation heals me… I'm very angry with the people who sold it to me, and they didn't warn me about such a thing, if it's not written on the bottle itself and on the website, and I've been buying from them for years and they know what I'm growing... the product is not cheap, I paid money for something that will kill my plants, fuck... I mean, fuck money, I feel sorry for the plants, but you understand what I'm saying... I'm also angry at those who put the product on the market in the first place, and I would say all kinds of things I did it, but it's better to keep quiet... and mostly I'm angry with myself because I believed what it says and didn't check the product, like the biggest amateur... But what's here is now, let's move on... Today is the 57th day of the plant's life, yesterday was the end of the eighth week. Watering is now more frequent, every 3-4 days, it depends, the heat is already high, today it was at least 40 C in the shade, the forecast says 35. Since the last update, the plants were fed once and for the first time after transplanting, this morning most of them were fed for the second time, the next watering or two will be with clean water. They’re fattening up a lot now, they all drink really slow but they’re still packing on and look happy. It feels like I’m gonna kill them because I’m only watering about once a week. Humidity is getting to be a problem. Getting a dehumidifier soon, if you have any recs lmk I’m still kinda lost. Too many options and I’m not sure any of them even work. I’m getting the first few whiffs here and there, smell’s starting and everything looks frosty. The oils smell like fresh fruit and cream, some have a cookie-ish rub to em. Every day I get more excited to see what they do in the end!

Planted just one seed November 29 into coco and a very light 4-4-4 Gaia and perlite blend. Pint size container for now, at some pint soon I’ll replant it into a 3 gallon fabric pot. I just saw the seedling coming out of the soil today.

She really is stacking now 💪 Day 88 Day 38 Flower 29/07/24 Monday Just de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 today. Noticing pistils starting to mature. Video update Day 89 Day 39 Flower 30/07/24 Tuesday Nice feed again today, de-chlorinated tap water pH 6. Really throwing out trichomes now, density is getting better as well. Day 90 Day 40 Flower 31/07/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only today. Full 5L again she's taking this daily now ,😅💚 Day 91 Day 41 flower 01/08/24 Thursday End of week Feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 added nutes brought it up to 6.2. She just keeps stacking, think I got a fast flower... Or the heat is a little high and just prolonging her process. May start flushing next week we will see.

She reacted very well to last week feed and now the leaves have much better color. Expecting some stretch and the first signs of flowers for the next days. Meanwhile, our slight increase in reds seems to be having the desired effect, nudging these ladies further along in the flowering process. I Should have been chopped down 5 plants instead of just one however I lost her 4 sisters because of fungal infection due to a high humidity and and a very hot day. Wish I could have been able to get a lot of jars full of this wonderful and magical organics nugs.

WEEK 14 - HARVEST: The Grand Finale ​🌼 FLOWERING PROGRESS The journey of the Monster Maker has come to its successful end. After 9 full weeks of flowering, she reached her absolute peak. The final days showed a stunning purple fade, and the bud density became rock-solid. As seen in the final photos, the structure was perfect, and every site was loaded with high-quality flower. It was time to chop! ​👃 TERPENES & AROMA Even during the harvest process, the scent was overwhelming. The sweet, citrusy tangerine notes have merged with a heavy, spicy, and earthy funk. It smells like a premium dessert with a gassy twist. I expect the terpene profile to become even more refined during the slow dry. ​🌡️ ENVIRONMENT & VPD Final conditions in the tent were kept at 24.8°C and 46% RH (VPD ~1.65 kPa) right until the end. Now, for the drying phase, I have adjusted the environment to aim for a slow, 10-14 day dry to preserve those precious tangerine terpenes. ​💧 NUTRIENT FEEDING & WATERING The 7-day flush with pure, pH-regulated water was completed perfectly. The plant looked beautifully "starved" and clean, which should result in a very smooth smoke and pure white ash. No more nutrients, just the natural essence of the plant. ​💭 GROWER'S NOTE HARVEST DAY! Seeing this lady without her leaves (the "naked" structure) really shows the success of the LST and training. Every branch held a massive, frosty treasure. Now the real patience begins with the drying and curing process. I am beyond happy with the resin production on this Sweet Seeds masterpiece. First thing id like to say is last night the lady i have been growing this plant for sadly passed the cancer proved to be too much and she is now feeling no pain if everyone could please say a prayer for her and her family. Ive trimmed all bigger leafs off and started her flush my nute chart still calls for the Herculean harvest so ive continued only that with phing my water stillthe trichomes r still not amber in color so ill flush for another few days then will most likely stop all water and let the soil dry up hopefully having a harvest by next week to post this has been a fun way of keeping up with my grow i appreciated everyones help and comments for good luck
