Week 3! Things are moving so fast! I've had a busy week so did not get around to order nutrients. For all my worries, she seems to do just fine without them. I do not want to get over confident though. Gotta get on it! I was tempted to top her or start doing LST since she is growing so well, but decided against it because I want to let her grow naturally. This is my first grow, so best see what happens to a plant in spacebucket conditions without interference. Learn from that and experiment later on. Plus I feel that patience and restraint are key to completing a successful first grow. -On topping autos: I've read that autos should never be topped. This might have been true in the past. From what I've read new strains are more stable and can be topped without problems if the plant is growing well. (3-4 nodes by end of week 2) This allows her to recover before going into flowering. Despite her being only 10cm tall her leafs span nearly 27cm! Auto Tutankhamon is basically AK-47 (stativa) with ruderalis so I was expecting a rather tall plant. On day 16 she started showing her first pistils! 😍

This will be the last week until harvest. It has been a decent grow had a few nutrient problems but I am happy with the turn out. I snipped off a tester bud and it got me pretty ripped once it was dry. That immediately made me antsy for the rest of the plant. Lol ... I will make another update next week at harvest. This northern lights will have gone 13 weeks at harvest. That is 5 weeks longer than the breeder said on the pack of seeds. Even though it was longer than expected I'm still super happy, she is alot bigger than most autos so no complaints here.

A more difficult week. I've been battling the water consumption on two of the girls. I ordered and hooked up the Blumats auto watering system. I followed the instructions to a T but they don't work on those settings for this type of plant. They must be recommending for succulents cause the girls dried out right away with the settings. So I've been slowing dialing it in the get the proper amount to release. This is the other girl consuming a lot. But with the auto watering system she's holding her own. Todo en marcha! 💨 Día 13 (14/06) Riego ligero 100 ml sólo H20 EC 0,5 en previsión del trasplante en el día 15 de la planta Día 14 (15/06) Se nota que estamos en el día 14 desde germinación y la mayoría de las plántulas van viento en popa! Day 50. Took one more bottom set away . Gave 150 ml of 6.3 water. Thinking to add some mono potassium with next. All goes well for those conditions;)))) Day 55. 150 ml 6.3 pH water in. Decided to go with no food for as long as she is happy. Happy Growing !!!

Welcome to week 8! She’s still looking great and healthy. It seems that she’s still making some height but slowly also the buds getting bigger and bigger from day to day. At end of week 8 I probably have to adjust some branches to give them more light disposal and maybe doing some light defoliation. At the mid of week 8 I can see that the buds gaining weight. More and more orange pistils are showing up and she starts to smell just a bit. I’m still very happy with this strain and also with the performance of the growbox. Can’t wait to see how she’s producing nice, dense and thick buds
