First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. Not much to report on the Bubble Runtz, , she popped above soil on day 3 and is now on day 7 and is working on her 2nd set of true leaves. I started prepping the Coco Coir by flushing down to .4 EC and then soaking in water with an EC of 2.0 with Cal Mag and a PH of 6.8. I will let it soak until the seedlings are ready to be transplanted hopefully by next weekend or shortly thereafter. The weather in my region is perfect for cultivating seedlings as it is fairly hot and humid and I only have the Spectrum X running at 30% so it is not putting out much heat and I also have a humidifier running in the tent on low which is maintaining a RH of around 68%. I do have the AC Infinity fan kick on here and there just to keep some fresh air in the tent but no real issues with heat. This is my first run with Tastebudz genetics and super excited to try a cross of Bubble Gum and Runtz. I plan to build a mainline and flip as soon as all 5 mainlines are built, hopefully around week 7. This Medic Grow light is perfect for a 5X5, and the AC Infinity 8" exhaust does an excellent job of keeping the tent cool. I will set up an auto feeding system which consists of a reservoir, and some 1/2" tubing that is hooked to a submersible pump in the reservoir and set to feed for 1 minute every 6 hours through halo feeders connected to ball valves to adjust the flow. The runoff then flows via gravity to a 5 gallon bucket in the tent with a shallow pan condensate pump that pumps the runoff out of the tent when it gets above 3 inches to another reservoir. I have been growing fruit and vegetables for over 40 years and I have recently switched to high frequency fertigation in Coco Coir for my tomatoes as well, as I believe this growth medium combined with this technique is the safest, most environment friendly, and foolproof method of getting monster yields no matter what crop you are growing, and I have seen massive results in both cannabis and tomatoes. My goal is to have these ladies transplanted by around day 14-17, and have the first toppings done within 48 hours or so of transplant. I hope everyone has a safe and peaceful weekend. Started LST in the 3 younger plants but I messed up on the Sweet Cheese, I wasn’t expecting such a weak main branch and it completely broke when I was trying to bend it 😣

Day 75 - Topped up and changed water and nutrient solution. Cut down on the "Grow" and upped the "Bloom". Trimmed more dead dieing and weak leaves. Also trimmed away quite a few smaller branches underneath that just weren't going to have a chance at establishing any good bud sites and most likes would have eventually died off anyways due to lack of light penetration to lower canopy levels. Back left plant has slowed its height growth almost to a stop at around 31 inches from the bucket rim. Front and back right plants have still been growing strong despite the nutrient cut backs but are also forming good flowers at the same time. Will have to boost up the shorter plant to get closer to light as I keep moving it farther away for the other 2 plants. Day 79 - More watering and trimming.

The stealth bucket seems to have scarred a few of the leaves that’s been trying to grow out on the sides.

Last update. ill let her be, just a few more days in PH regulated Tapwater then' she'll get the cut. theres already a 2nd plant waiting to flower in there so im no to sad about the end. this was definitely my biggest learning experience when it comes to growing. good she was super forgiving. ☺️

Sorry for the long time no update. Work got busy and I haven’t had the time to update this. Flower has gone pretty smoothly and the girls are getting ready to finish up. I have 3 bubba pupils in the tent at the moment, with a reservation privada purple wreck, freedom of seeds Godberry, and a serious seeds AK-47. The bubba pupil phenotypes look to be all the same. Low yielding with some extremely resinous quality buds. The smell is funky and grapey. The bubba pupil buds look like they’ll be all finished up in about 1 week to 10 days. Most of the trichomes are milky, and I have yet to spot any that have turned amber. The purple wreck is starting to purple out and probably has 2 weeks and some change left. The Godberry is probably the most resinous plant, and looks like it will be the second heaviest yielder next to the AK-47. The resin on the Godberry is extremely fruity, and leaves your fingers smelling like a bowl of fruit loops after plucking a few fan leaves. The AK-47 is the fattest bitch of them all. Big colas everywhere across its canopy and they’re falling over because I did not install a trellis on this grow. The AK-47 has an old school funk to it, and has around 5% amber trichomes. I’m thinking I will start to flush her at the start of week 8 (in 3 days) and let her finish up at a full 8 weeks.

Fed only distilled water every 3-5days. Lowered the lights down to 14 in from the tops...stopped all training. Pretty much just letting them grow without bothering them. Just keeping an eye on the temps n humidity daily. Easy relaxing grow.

Another mostly positive week completed. Pests firmly at bay. Environment humidity looking good and all the buds are getting bigger. Top dressed some nutrients / insect frass earlier in the week which I’m sure was a week or so late. - Heidi looking very hungry by D57 - the whole plant is looking yellow. Solution to problem is some organic liquid nutes which arrived today from now as needed. Overall they and the other 2 ladies in the tent are looking a zillion times better than my first grow. Starting to feel the harvest impatience kick in. Will try to overcome this time Thanks for reading have a great week 😊

The gap between where you are and where you want to be is measured in decisions, not dreams. Dopamine release is not the pursuit of happiness; it's the happiness of the pursuit. Turgor pressure in plant cells is primarily generated by osmosis, but transpiration plays a crucial role in maintaining it. The optimal internal leaf surface temperature for photosynthesis at 1800-2000ppm CO2 is likely in the upper range of 97°F, meaning ambient would need to sit at 102°F-ish or thereabout for full metabolic utilization. Dense bud all the way down. The +Speed auto can be chopped at 7 weeks but generally require 8-10 for best results. My environment is steady and temps are perfect. VPD was kept on point for the majority of the run and nutrients fed at just over half of what was stated on the bottle. The amount that can be grown in such a small area and in such a short space of time is unbelievable. Only one plant has been harvested at the moment so I will update the harvest week of the diary with the other two once they are ready.
