Hey Guys! Super excited this week! I've really been wanting to try growing outdoors, so I built a cheap hoop house! Got most of this stuff for the frame from Lowes under 300$. All the soil products I got from GrowGreenMI. Some really cool people out there. One thing I'm super worried about is drainage. Right now those holes are about 4 feet deep and they've got about 4 inches of water in them already. What's been cautioned is that, eventually, about 2 months in these plants roots will grow and reach the bottom and cause root rot to form. One of the biggest things I was trying to be wary of was causing root rot. This was also the biggest precautionary measure I took when mixing the soil. Adding the extra perlite, coco, and clay pebbles. Best advice right now is to build the soil up on the holes another 16 to 18 inches and possible stick a PVC pipe down to the lowest drainage point of the hole to allow some of that natural occurring water to evaporate. Any advice anyone has on it is welcomed! Making a compost tea for the soil outdoors, will probably put 2 cups in each RDWC bucket as well and let that do it's magic for a day or so before nutrient change. Raised the bed about 14 inches as well! All the seeds sank! Off to a good start! Lol

Growing great no problems just that I had the light a bit close and burned the tips she grew very fast and I never realised but she’s very happy now and fattening up smells great too

Finally My Gelato Bin Laden’s has started to flower. I haven’t defoliated this week and might need to clean up some leaves to open up the bud sites, i’ll do it later this week. The plant on the left has a lighter green colour to it, bot sure why, I’m not too concerned about her, she get’s the same feed and attention as the girl on the right. Let’s see how they start to change in the coming weeks.

Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed. Thursday changed solutions

Day 49 and 50. With 28 to 42 days left(anticipating)went ahead and gave the girls some bloom nutrients. Decided to go with the pk13/14 from canna at 1 tsp per gallon. Each plant received 2 gallons and will repeat for the next two waterings. Decided against a top dressing as I amended the soil heavily at the start and would like to use up what’s in the soil already. To say the girls have grown up during summer camp is an understatement! Miss Harvey is an astonishing 44 inches tall and still growing. Ms. Fizz and the 91Grapes are both a very respectable 38 inches tall and still growing. Once these girls got their roots settled in it was off to the races and none of the are showing any interest in slowing down, I just think they will shift into flower overdrive! Or at least that’s my desire. update, bad news something chewed seven branches off my plants last night. pissed off. will include pictures later I love growing autoflowers. Their simple tenacity and vigor, their ability to flower at will and finish inside of three months is what keeps me coming back for more. Thank you Daz for some amazing plants.

Start of week 4. This girl did not stretch during week 3, but her bud sites continued to pack on size and take shape. She is very sticky to the touch, almost finger hash sticky, which is really impressive at this stage.

In Woche 4 der Blüte gebe ich den Ladys die zweite Ladung Greenhouse Feeding BioBloom je 2.5g/L vom Topf. Dazu gebe ich per Gießwasser ab jetzt alle 2 Wochen 1g/L den BioEnhancer von Greenhouse Feeding und bei jedem Gießgang den Greenhouse Feeding Booster 0.2g/L. Die Ladys wurden auch großzügig entlaubt. jetzt Konzentrieren sie sich auf die Produktion der Blüten.

Entwickelt sich prächtig, hätte etwas früher mehr Nährstoffe gebraucht holzt sehr stark. Bis jetzt sehr resistent gegen outdoor! Terps: Sweet Cali, Bonbon 🍬 Klebt sehr stark🌳🍀

The girls survived. Always the biggest stress in the beginning. Getting sprayed with water twice a day. Gonna do the first watering soon. Hoping for growth!

first week of flowering, started on sept. 21th. irrigation being tuned weekly due to climate and drinking variations. ipm foliar sprayed on monday 18th with ohn, organic fruit vinager, pumpkin ffj, neem oil, Solem "sun's fert", and neutral soap. on thursday 21th and saturday 23th ipm foliar sprayed with EM5, liquid quillaia extract, Solem "sun's fert" and epson salt.
