She took over the complete tent surface!! Bearly have place to keep humidifier and heater. I am thinking never again to go with more than one plant as this way she will give her full potential. And tent is 80cmx80cmx180. She seem super healthy however I did found several leaves with brown spots. Not enough nutrient, too much nutrients? No idea...will need to google and ask you guys. I have disconnected her from the autopot after 5 days and will wait until root is dry. Need to leave her for 6-7 days again and the plan is to give her 10ml of BIO PK 5-8 and 8 ml of orgatrex diluted in 1,5 lit of water. Also I ve diluted 8 ml of orgatrex in tank with 18liters water added, hopefull she will use all of it at the time I am back and strart drying the root. Did some defoliation to pass down the light for lower flowers and spayed her with BOOM BOOM spray. Let see how next week will turn out. Cheers!

Day 69 almost there.

Autos are just starting to flower the photos are dying for some bigger pots. I've been trying to bring up the overall plant health in general since moving everything to a basement the temps are a little lower than ideal. I had a space heater delivered today and monitored the temps but they only went up to around 78°f I want it to be atleast 82°f ideally 85. The heater uses 1500 watt and only increased it about 2 or 3°. I dont think it's worth the extra cost for such little boost. I'm thinking about returning the heater and throwing a 1000w hps in one of the other tents and see if that will raise it anymore. Especially with LED and co2 higher temps would be very beneficial in veg and early flower but the room is so big its gunna be tough to pull off without killing me on electric costs. Any suggestions are welcome. I know this room does decent in flower but I havnt done much veg work down here and I'll have some autos growing this round so it's important I get it up.

Time is not on my side as my wedding cake in the other tent is becoming a beast and I want the small tent for the rest of the flowering stage of the wedding cake . So being as its week 11 she will be getting chopped at the weekend which will be around day 77. I think its taken such a long time due to her being more sativa inclined. The grow has gone quite well with no deficiencies that i've noticed. The Humidity is also on the high side so thats another reason to get her chopped soon. I have reduced the nutrients down now for this final week and also reduced the light hours to give her the sign to hurry up lol though she finishing i think at her own pace

Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. ok so everything has gone fantastic , no nutrient burns at all , and have been slowly creeping up the base nutrients , i have stopped the cal mag and now adding house and gardens bud XL at full strength these girls are now in full swing of flower and i bought a new ph stick this week , i have found when PHing the feed bucket that its best too have air stones in the bucket , add all nuts and then ph but do not use the feed that day as if you check the next day the ph is off again so i left it 24 hours after i add more ph down , and it seems too make the measurements alot easier and stable , i have bent down the main stems " without damaging them onto my netting too A keep the canopy all the same high so my lighting is covering all plants at the same distance and also it allowed the side stems too reach up too , i also was sponsored another new led light by kingbo this week so have added another 600watt led too the grow , so now have two 600's and one 900watt , and temps are still fine sitting at 24c lights on and 19-20 off , so am pleased with that , this lady is by far the bushyist plant with the most branches she also didn't stretch much and is packed with bud sites ,

Plants taking to the technique very well imo. Particularly the back right one, which has created a almost perfect dome shape. I did miss a watering and they didn't like that atall. As I usually wait for the soil to be dry before I water again, so if I miss a watering, they get extremely dry. All the leaves dropped down completely vertical, I thought it was all over, but they bounced straight back with the next watering. 🙌 The plant has now been topped twice, once to creat the initial + shape, and again to split each stem of the + into 2. So each plant now has 8 main stems.
