Vgrow | White Truffle

Bud_vista Welcome to week 2, Vegetation has started. The white truffle did well in her first week, and started to grow in stem and grown her first pair of leaves. She looks vivid.

Bud_vista Welcome to week 2 of my white truffle auto grow! On last weekend I transplanted the little girl into a bigger pod. Size: 11liter (3gallon). She’s doing great I her new home and look vivid. In this week she also get her first watering with nutrients, let’s see how she reacts.

Bud_vista Welcome to week 3 of my White Truffle grow! At the end of week 2 she’s been topped above the third node. She has needed a day of recovery but the day after she continued to grow visibly. The main stem seems already strong, the branches are still flexible enough to start training the plant a little. In the next few days I will start to bend the side branches and trying to fill up the tent nicely. One of the top branches snapped a little, which I will have an additional eye on. I’m also also trying to keep the first nodes and how they develop in the next weeks, otherwise I will cut them when I start to defoliate.

Bud_vista Welcome to week 4 of my white truffle grow! Till last week, she’s growing at a great speed. The half snapped branch seems to recover and keep growing fine. At week 4 I will do a little defoliation and maybe hanging in the trellis to the end of week 4. She’s not showing any sign of pre flower yet. In the mid of Week 4 I installed the trellis and at this work, somehow, one of the very top branches snapped… I’m trying to save this one but let’s see how it works… Until now, I’m really happy how good and fast this grow is.

Bud_vista Welcome to week 5 of my white truffle grow! What an eventful week! After I installed the trellis last week one of the tips of a branch cracked completely. Luckily the crack was in the perfect position, so the plant just topped herself another time 😄 Nevertheless I’m defoliating a lot because of the small size of the box and trying to keep the plant as low as possible. I needed to defoliate twice this week because she’s building up a lot of biomass. I’m wondering why I’m still not seeing any sign of pre flower yet, but let’s wait and see what’s coming up in week 5. End of week 5- no sign still.

Bud_vista Welcome to week 6 of my White Truffle grow! First things first: Still no signs of pre flower yet 😄 She’s taken the training and the continuous defoliation like a champ. She got a massive stem and also the 4 main branches are thickening up that I could get some problems later this week of holding the branches under the trellis. Hopefully some signs of pre flowering will show up this week or I have to move the trellis a little bit upwards. Update: the lady seems to be a photoperiod and none autoflower, as i asked the breeder recently. So she is going to flower by switching to 12/12 from the mid of week 6. Hopefully she has not a huge stretch, because of the limited space in the Vgrow. The plant itself looks healthy and vital. Looking forward to this week. ✌️

Bud_vista Welcome to week 7 of my White Truffle grow! I switched to flowering 5 days ago, 12/12 light cycle. No signs of pistils yet, it's growing nicely, but no crazy stretching. Since this is my first grow with photos, I'm really excited to see how the week goes ✌️ Update: First pistils showing up after 9days of switching to 12/12.

Bud_vista Welcome to week 8 of our white truffle grow! She’s looking beautiful and stacking up. The strech is really not that crazy until now, so I’m curious how this develops. I had the chance to smoke her little sister black truffle, which I like a lot! At the middle of the week she got a defoliation, because I struggled with too high humidity inside the box. Hope the defoliation helps her a little bit. She has startet to strech and still looks healthy

Bud_vista Welcome to Week 9 of my white truffle grow! In week 8 she stretched a little and the buds starting to develop and slowly bulk up. I have to defoliate here and there but in general the plant looks healthy. In this week you can tell that she's starting to develop her smell. A nice cannabis smell just like you walk into a coffeeshop. Buds bulking up continuously and the stretch seems to reduce in week 9.

Bud_vista Welcome to week 10 of my white truffle grow! She did great in the past week. Bulked up those nice frosty buds. I'm so curious how she is looking at the end. The leafs are still looking great, a vibrant green color and I'm guess she's happy. I have some problems with high humidity directly afer watering but until now she's handling the environment just great.

Bud_vista Welcome to week 11 of my white truffle grow! I love this plant! She looks super healthy and over the weeks the buds bulking up nicely and the sugar leafs stacking up. I've watering about 2 times a week with approx. 3 liter of water. I started to give the plant also a little bit of water from underneath. Think she needs another 3 weeks easily.

Bud_vista Welcome to week 12 of my black truffle grow! She's a beauty! I haven't got major thing to do in the last couple of weeks. Just retain the water intake. She's stopped stretching and still bulking up the buds. I'm so curious how she will look in a few weeks. She still shows a nice green and no nutrient deficit. At late week 12 I've checked the trichomes and I see some spots turning amber. I think she's in her last 2 weeks :)

Bud_vista Welcome to week 13 of my white truffle grow ? At the end of last week week I started a little defoliation of unnecessary or sunlig blocking leafs. No stress reaction at all, she continues to bulk up and the first trichomes turning into amber. Also some leafs are turning "purple" or "dark" at their corners. I think the autumn has begun :) She still looks vivid and frosty af.

Bud_vista Welcome to week 14 of my white truffle grow ? Last week went smooth. No signs of any lack of nutrients. Still nice green leafs. Don't know if I'm wrong but it seems that some parts of the plant turning purple-ish, especially at the top leafs. Buds are still bulking up and also the smaller lower buds are getting bigger.

Bud_vista Welcome to week 15 of my white truffle grow? She's getting thirstier every week and I need to water her every 2 to 3 days with about 2-2,5 liters. She has a nice smell and looking great. Probably she will be chopped at the end of April.

Bud_vista Welcome to week 16 of my white truffle grow ? The last few days are reached! This beautiful plant still looks vivid and great. The trichomes have a nice mix of clear, milky, and amber. On Saturday I will chop her, give her a small wet trim. This time I will try to dry the plant in whole in the Vgrow itself.

Bud_vista Welcome to chop day of my white truffle grow ? She's 16 1/2 weeks old now and had a nice mix of amber and milky trichomes. She's sticky AF and smells great. A deep sweet and earth-ish smell. For the first time I'm trying the drying cycle of the vgrow. Till now the temperature is somewhere between 19-21 degrees and 58-65% humidity. Looking forward to the first smoke of this one.
