Day 50 Flowering: Well here we are with only approx 13 days to go for these Expert Seeds ladies. They have behaved very well this week with nothing bad to report at all thankfully The gnat issue is dealt with now so no further worry on that score either. Mimosa Lemon continues to confuse me as to what fonexoect from the coming weeks. Normally I can begin to plan the end and dry/cure upcoming but these buds are so airy and loose that I cannot imagine how they will look dry !!. The normal swell weeks and ripen i would be seeing now are not happening at all so I wonder what she WILL do with the last few weeks. While i am becoming dissolute about their yield and bud production , I don't doubt the potent smell andnlook they are producing. A mention of" Dr Grinspoon looking" has made a valid point as she does remind me so much of that strains appearance. I do wonder if a long flowering is on the cards for this strain. The colas and flowers are very potent looking up close but the size and density are very unappealing as yet. Glueberry is a totally different kettle of fish with the dense and hard byds that I do understand and feel comfortable working with. lol She is really starting to smell LOUD now. My fingers are left with a diesel smell for a while after handling her. My mistake early on has kept her size smaller but her comeback is brilliant . She is a bushy lady though and her inner growth is hiding smaller but worthwhile buds. I can see how the density jas allowed some damage from moisture so need to keep them well aired down in the canopy now. Shebhas approx 8 decent sized colas that are swelling nicely. Both ladies are now on their 4ml/L Dragon force until the next update so lets see hownthat can bulk up these ladies in theor final 2 weeks. Both drinking very my well every 3 days now so all plain sailing hopefully . Be safe and well Growmies.

Plants are acclimating to the flower area and new 5 gal buckets. DinaMed's leaves were damaged by the Diatomaceous earth dusting. The colouring is mottled green and growth is twisted slightly. Defoliated both plants a bit. Now, a week to let them grow.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Another week is over, and on the 12th it's time to harvest ✂️, it wasn't one of my favorite crops, the plant's growth was very irregular, but I hope that after drying and curing it will be worth it. I'll update as soon as I have my first impressions 🌱✌️🍁💨

Week 2 should be smooth sailing after battling temp and humidity

Quite a few are finishing up I’m gonna start the flush in around a week then harvest few days after that, incredible thc on this strain and buds are really dense I couldn’t recommend a better autoflower then this is best I’ve ever done 💪🌱😜

Week 5 flower going well. Nothing much to report. Increased the drip as she is taking in more water. Turned up the fans to 100% for maximum flow, and due to that, the tent got a bit warmer and a bit dryer so the exhaust fan and humidifier are working a bit harder. 75-77 deg F, 50-60% RH. Not sure if the lights are to intense or if it’s purple coming through, but at the highest tops there seems to be a bit of discolouration on the newest growth, just at the tips of the new buds. But I’m looking really close and it may be purple, not brown. I’ll keep an eye on it and turn the lights down if symptoms worsen. This plant is growing strong and getting chunky. Hopefully she keeps growing well until the end. Thanks for the views…keep calm and grow on!

Day 76 - The ladies are getting weight, everything's good. No signs of whiteflies at all. Some days ago I covered the SP with a shading net because the top buds were beginning to burn and the light is not dimmable. I'm going to buy the SP1000 for the next run to have a better final result. Updating in a few days 🙏

Looking back at recent weeks I realized that I mustve had a weird filter put over my pictures because some spots of most of my pictures are really unnaturally green looking. It kinda angers me but I fixed it, quality of my pictures looks much better now. Picture 1 - Day 36 - Beginning of Week 6 Video 2 - Day 36 - Just a quick vid of how things are looking in the tent rn. Picture 6 - Day 36 - Dwarf 2.1 has weird looking new growth and isnt growing as fast as Dwarf 1, I think he will probably stretch a lot soon since he is in flower now. Picture 7 & 8 - Day 36 - Dwarf 2.1 shooting pistils. Picture 9 - Day 37 - Dwarf 1 going ok. Picture 10 - Day 37 - Trimmed of some of the dying lower leaves of dwarf 1, still contemplating a flush on both the dwarfs. Picture 11 - Day 37 - Dwarf 2.1 also going good. Picture 12 - Day 39 - Dwarf 1 going strong. Will flush at next watering. Picture 13 - Day 39 - Dwarf 2.1 also going good.
