8/7 watered this morning. Cleaned out a lot of the fan leaves underneath the canopy. 8/5: tonight will be last feed, then planning on flushing for 2 weeks. Prelim. harvest date of about 8/21 given the estimates from Humboldt. Snuck in a couple minutes before the HPS turned on to get some better lighting pictures and a look at the trichomes. They’re basically all milky white. Some amber starting in the fuzz. 8/4: water this morning (should’ve been last night but plants did not appear to complain). 8/2: fed this morning. Smell is getting quite strong.

This is my fav strain for now. I love the taste more than anything. Take a vape hit and exhale through the nose. Oh god, this is good. Despite the low light intensity, The BUDS ARE TIGHTER THAN THE FIST OF A FIGHTER.

The plants continue to stretch magnificently, and the onset of bud production has been truly remarkable. 🌿🌸🌱💪 As we progress through this crucial stage, I remain attentive to the well-being of my plants. They have developed a healthy thirst, consuming approximately 4 liters of water every 2 days. The pH level of the nutrient solution stands at a steady 6.11, ensuring optimal nutrient uptake. Furthermore, the TDS range between 1050 and 1150 provides the ideal nutrient balance. 💧⚖️📈 In light of the unfortunate hermaphroditism incident experienced by a fellow grower, I have been diligently checking my plants for any signs of similar issues. So far, I'm pleased to report that everything is progressing smoothly, and I haven't encountered any Bananas or seeds (it's hard to check the back sides). 🚫🍌🔍 That's it for this week! Today is Day 50 !! We have started flower an they are just looking amazing! We have switched up the nutrients for flower, instead of 1 tsp bloom and 3 tsp of veg , we just swap 3 tsp of bloom and 1 tsp of veg !! Can’t wait to see what these laddies do this week!!

On day 1 I adjusted the PH of the rez up to 6.2. I increased average ppfd to 972, with the highest ppfd on a top at 1500 ppfd lets see how she reacts and if she likes the intensity I will keep it steady till the end if not back to lower ppfd again. On day 6 I changed out the rez and ph to 6.2. Buds are growing and putting on weight very compact buds.

Very enjoyable grow, awesome cultivar, this is what I work for, my nuggets have been grown with love and dedication and the final result is a a plant that has been very thankful and she has provided me amazing sticky flower with those red hairs that I love so much, very strong cerebral buzz, sativa high definitely, makes me remember a lot sour diesel, definitely super pungent loud 🔊 aroma coming from the jars but she was stinking the grow tent when she was there, amazing strain!

When I began the contest I had only grown Magic Melon once before (last winter), it grew in an 18 litre pot, became around 4 feet tall, and completely filled a 3'x3' tent. A friend of mine successfully grew a seed I gave them this summer in a container about 4 litres and the plant was considerably smaller. The fact that it can be successfully grown in less than 250mL is astonishing, I have buds from the one grown last winter that are bigger than the can I grew this one in. Harvested 91 days from sprout.
