Update Sunday... hey guys uploaded a security cam footage of the blizt storm in the GTA.... ladies survived somehow... also did top dressing at 30tbs per 15 gal of 444 and 284 gaia green organic amendments. 70/30 ratio. Watered them in with dechlorniated, pH 6.2 and 60mL of molassas to 5 gals of water. Defoilated and did some maint pruning on growth under the main canopy. God bless. Hey folks, Well I got good new and some bad news. Last weekend, these ladies got thrashed by a thunderstorm.. break some branches along the way. Had enough time to splint the bent stems and they bounced back. Note that due to the storm, the pots got watered down pretty heavy... but to my surprise I let the ride out from Monday to Friday... and regretted that. I should of watered the ladies on Wednesday or Thursday, but found out the pots where extremely dry (also probable that the fabric pots are drying the medium out allot faster). The plants started to droop Friday afternoon. Also did a little lst but didn't want to over stress the plant that still recovering from the major storm. Iv watered each pot about 8L of molasas water @ 5mL/L and see how the soil and plant respond. Im going to check on them more frequently and prevent under-watering. After 1 week of growing, the Blue Dream'Matic is doing well. I am going to slowly increase its nutrient solution strength and lower the lights to dial in some stronger growing conditions. It has been enjoying 1-2 times a day fertigation so I think the coco medium is draining well. I have included a time lapse of the first week of growth. I am working out the kinks of the setup, so the video is a bit messed up towards the end, but it shows potential that I am going to keep working on! Day 8: transplanted to a larger pot as a significant number of roots were growing out of the seedling bag. Day 9: It looks like there has been a cal-mag or root issue affecting the first set of leaves, which grew in while there was a lower nutrient EC. The new growth has not been showing the same issue, so hopefully the issue has been resolved. Thanks for reading, and happy growing!

Day 100, week 6 of flower

The journey for this lady is over! She is huge and gorgeous, the buds seem rocks just by touching them!

Day 23: grow is coming along nicely! Tucking the larger leaves behind the smaller ones to allow more light. The older BD is coming on nicely, I think she is going to stretch soon. I'm still going a little heavy on the N. I can see the tips clawing down slightly. Minor discoloration on the tips but hardly even noticeable. Day 24: the oldest BD is showing signs of a cal mag deficiency. I have been giving cal mag xtra at 0.5ml/L Due to the amount of N. Next feed I will up to 1.25ml/L and cut the grow A out. Worried about the amount of N shes going to be getting, cal mag as it is 4-0-0 and the grow A is 3-0-0. Watered the younger blue dream. Exactly the same as I have been previously. Day 25: New gear day 😁! Its been a busy day in the garden! Second p1000 added to tent. Also added in 2x CO2 gas bags. CO2 bags are placed next to the air intake to keep the CO2 in the tent for as long as possible. The lights are now set at 50% and about 23 inches above the girls. Giving them the same intensity, but with more coverage. I've also been monitoring VPD. I'm keeping my tent at a 50% humidity, using a humidifier outside the tent. With my temps being between 24-26°C I believe this is the optimal range. Finally, I have watered the jack herer. I gave her 3L of water this time. I waited a little longer to water than I have previously, so the pot took more to get the 20% runoff. I will be waiting until the other girls feel like this. I've been a little nervous about under watering. The 3L feed was the same as the previous one. Day 26: big shock today... my timer for lights hasn't gone off since I installed the second light 🤦‍♂️ multi plug stops mechanical timer from spinning 🤬.. all sorted now, they will turn off tonight! Only caught due to the new camera! On to that, I got a cheap camera from amazon to view remotely.. made sure temp/RH can be seen also. Works great. It is 1080p but I haven't figured out how to get the timelapse download quality in 1080p. I will look into that. Anyway I got a timelapse of the blue dream after watering 😝. Watered her the usual. If interested just scroll up it's been the same for a while 🙂. Day 28: smaller blue dream watered the usual. I really do need to cut the N down. They are on the edge of toxic levels. Girls are looking a little sleepy tonight, this morning I upped the power on the lights to 65% they took it really really well. It came to tea time and they were taking it really well still so I upped it to 75%. A few hours at 75% and they told me that was to much by dropping the leaves. Its lights out soon so no big deal! I know where my lights should be set for optimal growth tomorrow. Its amazing how much they can tell you. So I'll be leaving them on 65% at 18" for a little while. I'm trying to prevent too much stretch. Day 29: watered the jack today, shes looking the furthest into flower! I cut the sensi grow A out fully today as she has N in her cal mag and B52. Kept all the other levels the same for now. Next feed I will be introducing her to the bloom nutes. Oldest BD will be due a feed tomorrow and she will be having the same. They are continuing to grow nicely, I'm pretty shocked with how big they are if I'm honest! Cheers for stopping by 👍👊

This is my second time growing this strain and i am much more please this time around. Came out with almost 3 times more than last time and the buds are a lot bigger. Have already ordered another seed because i think this may be my favorite strain!

Alright grow cycle, mistakes, improvements, etc... She did stay in veg for too long, her growth was slow and not the best and so she took quite long, next time i'll be there from the beginning so I can take care of her throughout. But her growth is really fun. It is a tall growing sativa with fairly tight noding when trained accordingly, producing long filled colas. The buds grow fairly dense and fluffly but do air out a little when dried. Trichome production was pretty impressive as well as terpene production. She had thrips since her early days but did not seem to mind them at all. I did spray them initially but once flower started I stopped. I believe predatory mites might have been feeding on the pupae in the soil, if that is what this specific species of thrips did, the reason I say that is I could never see adults only larvae. Whatever the case maybe they were there but the population never really increased. Something I did not mention during the grow is that those plants were played music during the days, music that is apparently developed for plants. The 10L pot was WAY too small for a true sustainable living organic and to provide enough space for the plant, that was a mistake, I'd say a 20L would be the bare minimum and still. The bigger the better. The hempy transfer did not hurt the plant and I believe even helped to some extent, BUT, I am still running test on the subject and so can't confirm anything, here are my observations Roots did not colonize the perlite, a little on top and the sides but that was it, I was expecting to see a big root mass in there. I believe hempy are great for salt fert as it hold a soup of nutes where the plant can feed from since the coco only holds very little Whereas in nature most nutrient are in the top soil where the highest amount of decomposition happens, this is where the highest microbial activity happens and so where the plant will find food. Living organic is trying to reproduce nature and so there is no need for the plant's roots to gather at the bottom of the pot. Although it could have potentially provided the plant access to a larger amount of water and possibly more oxygenation of the pot. Those are all theories, please speak up if you have other proofs. In conclusion , unless i get proven otherwise by someone or my latest running experiment , I will not be using hempies again as I believe it brings more complication and issues than a simple fabric pot. The lights, The 600w at the start was good, then I decided to add a 400w...😂 That was completely overkill and not necessary. Waste of electricity. And they started suffering from too much light it seems at some point, I raised the light by a good 30 cm and they were fine. 600 is more than enough. I am happy about how the soil performed but it has room for improvements. As for the watering technique I have been watering large ammount every few days, next time I will be giving constant small amount of water each day and a soak every week or so, I believe the soil might perform better under those conditions. She was also an easy plant to harvest whit her long colas which had very little foliage, I do trim in excess as I like my buds extra clean but the buds are not excessively bushy. The trims were use to make some bubble hash, around 100g of wet trims yielded around 1.5-2g of bubble hash. I did add a negative effect but only because it wouldn't give me a smile otherwise, but to be honnest it barely dries your mouth. The soil is going to be recycled and reused in a next grow. I can't think of anything else at the moment but if you have any question don't hesitate.

Everything looking fine so far. I gave them a little amount liquid grow enzymes with distilled water on 19.04. what seemed to boost the growth. If You have any tipps or recommendations feel free to let me know.

My nine Week 7 flowers are thriving under the new GrowPro Solutions under-canopy lights. The lights have really brought out some amazing colors in the buds. It's so cool to see how much they've changed in just a day! I'm excited to see how they develop even more in the coming weeks

been changing watering a little and started useing jungle juice and B-52 got rid of most of yellow leaves only some left on American pie for my first grow think its looking okey working on a DWC system trial and error now looks like its working just need to seal the water leaks but they are not to bad just need som bigger rubber rings for inside barrel and to get last mats needet as store ran put off the stuff i need
