Hoi leuk dat je een kijkje neemt. Week 9 is begonnen en ze gaat onverstoord verder.( ik maak een telfout 🤦‍♂️🏽 eigenlijk begint week 9 over 2 dagen 😆) Prachtige kleuren bladeren en de toppen worden dikker en dikker. Ze is eigenlijk te groot voor de tent, de hoofdtop staat 15 cm van de lamp verwijderd. Veel te dichtbij eigenlijk. Heb niet al te veel bladeren weggeknipt (defoliation). Minimaal. Ze drinkt wel zeer veel. Bijna anderhalf liter per dag. Laten we kijken hoe zij zich deze week weet te ontwikkelen. 🧐 Ik zal gedurende de week nog verse foto's updaten, dus hou het in de gaten. So like at the end of last week can be seen she started flowering. I defoliated her because she was bushy, LST and a little super cropping. I see the tips of the leafs turned down so i didn't gave her any more BioGrow since last week. All is going smooth and kinda fast :D. The humidity in my tent is going up because the wedding cakes are in full flower :D but no problem, I did put 2 small dehumidifiers in the tent and turned the Mars Hydro oscillating fans on almost all of the time. The fans are also new to me because i had cheap ones in the past , must keep an eye out not to give them wind burn :) . In just 12 hours i reduced the humidity from at it's peak 64% to 50% and at times a little lower then that. It is also pretty stable, except like the day i water. I am pretty pleased with that for now 😊. 1/10/25 Because I see a lot of clawing and here and there burnt tips i did a little flush. At the end of flush runoff at PH 6,0 ppm 1050. I like how I can play with the lights up and down to try and create the perfect amount of light for each plant. RH in tent at 48 % and stable. Must keep and eye on because of the flush :D 1/11/25 So 24 h after the flush and she is reaching for the sky. I also see very little improvements or it is a placebo effect :)) Tent temp 23C and RH 44%- 48% . New photos added :D. 1/12/25 After 48h she is reaching and preaching with her branches to the sky :D Happy and growing, developing very nicely. Little Purple calyxes can also be seen at the bases of developing flowers. End of week, in tent RH 50% temp 22 avg. Doing LST once every 2 days or so. The gals are still loving the fc4800 and their new 8x8 mars hydro grow tent as much as I do👍 leaves are sticking straight up towards the light. Love how easy the zippers are to open and close. For our Zamnesia girls It's time to work our magic, since October 1st we are in flowering, the plants have vegetated for exactly 4 weeks, a single top was made on some, others are growing straight, some clones here and there still in veg. As soon as I realized that those beautiful photos of a beautiful black plant that Zamnesia was posting on IG are the Black Orchid I said wow. Let me put all the seeds. If I get even just one black phenotype I think I can show you space trichomes. I really hope I get a black one, I have a real passion for total black plants, they are my favorite aesthetically. They are doing really well. Die Luftfeuchtigkeit ist viel zu hoch und ich kann daran leider nichts ändern, weil es ständig regnet. Ein Entfeuchter ist mir zu teuer, weshalb ich für mehr Umluft sorge und hoffe, dass die Pflanzen die letzte Woche auch noch überstehen. Sie riechen mittlerweile echt stark. Gedüngt wird nicht mehr, die Pflanzen sollen die restlichen Nährstoffe aus der Erde und den Blättern nutzen.

what’s up guys, today’s day 1 of week 5 in veg and it’s looking like this will be the last day before i flip to flower. the plan is to switch to 12/12 right after today, but my ppms are sitting at 370 which isn’t ideal at all. definitely need to get that sorted quick before the flip. she’s still been growing super fast and handled defoliation and topping like a champ. that mag deficiency is still hanging around even with foliar sprays and feeding recommended nutes, so i’ll be dialing everything in asap. excited to move into flower though, it’s about to get good.

Just thought these girls where a 8 week strain. Looks like there gonna be another 1 or 2 more weeks. I’m kinda bummed cause I could of fed last week and might of gotten them a lil bigger. Oh well. The fade on the Saturn citrus is so sexy!

For about a week now the nights have gone 12/12 I put them at 1000w in the beginning but they became too hot as they grew taller and started burning the tops of my plants. I switched the lights to 750w until i finish setting up the inline fans bringing in the natural cool air from outside. im hoping that way the lights wont burn my babies. With some help I did some light, minor "lollipopping" and defoliation on all plants. I want to see how the plants react then next week I may continue. So far the plants are enjoying their new feeds.

What a journey it has been from seed! I made a lot of mistakes in the first few weeks of this growing journey. I feel like I had a mini-crash after finishing the first year of grad school, and although I am growing cannabis as part of my research project, I haven't been the greatest at paying attention to it. This is not an excuse. It has actually been a learning opportunity. I realized that my body needs proper schedules to function and grow, just like a plant. The problems with the plant have really been my own problems. Let's just say that a plant may be the reflection of the grower. First, the light cycles were wrong and inconsistent. I thought that I could manually control the light schedule for the plants and be alright. However, I was wrong. My sleep schedule has been very inconsistent for the past few months. Mainly because we are living through a pandemic, and secondly because I am a graduate student 😂. How naive was it of me to think that a plant could follow my own rhythms? I guess it highlights my 'plant blindness.' Second, the light intensity was low and PH levels high. In the last five days, I have learned that plants are living organisms (I knew this, but my plant blindness is quick to dismiss it, I need to stop fighting these "plant voices" (signals)) that require a proper environment to grow, similar to humans. Of course, a plant is not human, but it is alive and living. It needs water, a regular schedule (light (active) /darkness (rest), oxygen, nutrients, and an overall good environment to grow. Concern about the size of my plant at five weeks, I decided to conduct a few experiments at home. Here are my notes: Friday, July 23, 2021, I took the plant out of the tent at 6:00 AM and placed it in front of my backyard window that faces the Eastside, perfect for sunrise. On that day, I had a few errands to run, and when I arrived home, it was 2:30 PM. The sun was now hitting the West side of my house, and I had to move the plant in front of my bedroom window. At around 7:00 PM, I went to look at the plant and noticed that its leaves were looking plumpy. So, I decided to take a timelapse to see what I would be able to record. During "magic hour" (sunset), I recorded and witnessed the plant moving with the rhythms of the sun. Plant, like humans, function at their best when they are synchronized with their circadian rhythm. The pandemic has definitely disoriented us to the point that it has disrupted all of our schedules. To this day, I feel tired from everything we have all been through; how could I possibly think that a plant would thrive with such a messed-up schedule? The time lapse made me realize that the plant needs some structure to thrive, and so do I. So, as much as I like to think that I can be disciplined and follow a plant's schedule, I cannot. So, I went to the store and bought the Globe Suite smart plug to automate and schedule the light cycle to 12hrs of light and 6 hours of darkness. Saturday, July 24, 2021, the plant woke up to the set schedule of the lights. I checked on the plant first thing in the morning, around 9:30 AM. The leaves look much greener and thicker than they did the day before. Sunday, July 25, 2021. I was away overnight and did not arrive home until 2 PM. The plant looks twice the size it was on Friday! Today, I will water the plant. I got a PH test kit and realized that the way that I measured the PH level, the first few weeks was wrong 🤦‍♀️🏽. I measured the PH correctly, to 5.9, and added some Reefertilizer grow nutrients to the water. I watered from the top, distributing the water evenly around the stem. My partner pointed to me that the lights seemed dim for the stage of the plant's life. So I had my lights set at 100 watts running at 20 % 😅. I realized that I had not increased the light intensity since the first few weeks of vegetation 🤦‍♀️🏽. So I increased the intensity to 100 watts running at 60%. Monday, July 26, 2021. First check-in 7:00 AM: The plant looks like it loves all of the new changes that I have made! It is finally growing 🤗 The sun is out, but it is not as intense as it should be because tiny particles of smoke are present in our air due to the wildfires, and they create a filter that makes the human eye see the sun blood red. It is quite apocalyptic. Regardless, I decided to take the plant out from the tent and record a time-lapse. It is fascinating how much movement plants have despite showing no noticeable signs of movement (to the human eye). Tuesday, July 27, 2021. It has been five days since I have made big changes to the plant's schedule and environment. The plant is finally showing good signs of growth, and its leaves colours have changed to a deep green. I am not watering the plant today, but I am spritzing it with water. I decided to take another time-lapse of the plant, but this time inside the tent. As I was setting up the tripod for my camera, I accidentally increased the humidifier 🤦‍♀️🏽. Luckily, I noticed within a reasonable timeframe and reduced the humidity and made the environment better. I increased the light intensity to 100 watts at 100%. The plant will stay in the tent all day today because it is raining ☔️.

June 30, 2019 at 2am / Day 23: 4.5" maximum height. Light LST and I defoliated 2 inner leaves for light penetration below. Light moved to 24" above canopy. I moved it up a bit higher than usual to promote vertical growth and for stretch across the 5 gallon pot. I have been keeping the light between 12 and 18 inches, and hope to be back at those heights soon. Watered with PH 6.07. Second runoff PH 6.44. I water the whole 5 gallon pot with a little more than 1 liter every 2 days. July 1, 2019 at 3pm / Day 24: Nice vertical growth at 5" maximum height prior to LST. Breezing through LST and light pruning of inner leaves. Hard to notice if there are delays from the stress. I'd say that there are and it is minimal. The exposure to stress and extra light may outweigh the stress. She seems really strong and happy. lol 9:00 pm more LST. July 2 at 1am / Day 25: Gone into preflower. Maximum height 6". Light moved back down to 14" above canopy. Watered with PH 6.1. Second runoff at PH 6.42. Watering is now 1L every day to day and half max. 2pm: Light moved to 18", Light LST at 3:30pm. 6pm: Light moved back to 14" at night and 18" in the day. July 3 at 3pm / Day 26: After minimal LST maximum height at 5.75". 6" at 10 pm. July 4 at Day 27: Defoliated and mixed in a very teeny teeny, tiny sprinkle of Gaia Green 4-4-4 slow release nutes and watered my 3 plants. A little less than my fingertips could hold of the dry mix nutes. Mixture at PH 6.1.

The hulk is swelling up at a rapid clip I think she'll have some big buds on her. Started giving less grow down to 2 ml per gal and more bloom. Added in some TNB co2 as well which I usually only use on the autos. Instead of feeding on the previous feed I gave them the enhancer from green house feeding just humic acids and enzymes and they responded very well as I think there was beginning to be a build up. I'm happy with how they look right now.

The plants are ranging from 36”-38”…. We just purchased Flower Fuel for the buds. And pruned all the plants this week. Lastly we gave the plants pH balanced water with loranne flavor extract and unsulfured molasses.

Got them all stripped down and moved the lights closer.

Week #9 of flowering is done, great week this week, still inching closer and closer to harvest day, all of the ladies except for the largest will start their flush today, I’d like to push that out to atleast 10-14 days if possible, this will insure I get a beautiful fade into harvest as well as mouth watering tastes and aromas coming off this flower, however with using final phase I’ve learned I can execute a proper and tasty flush in just 7 days if needed. Everyday I feel the smells are getting more and more intense becoming a hassle for my 4” carbon filter to keep up. Hopefully we continue to finish strong this last week or two! It will be exciting 😍
