Day 49 Flip day! Just flipped them to 12/12 took loads of leaves off. Let's see if I've guessed the sex right then 😏 I think I've got 3 fems but people still tell me I want know until I've flipped 🤷‍♂️🏼 Update: Day 50 and day 1 of flower looking very happy will give a nice feed when soil dries out. Lights are now maxed out and on Day 51, day 2 of flower I'm sure all 3 are definitely fems will keep eye on them next few days 👀 Update again: Day 53, Day 4 of flower and they looking beautiful 😍

This grow is going to be testing my coco based auto watering setup. The plants will eventually be going into 2.5 gallon airpots which I cut to be very tall and narrow which I hope will give great performance for this grow style. Nutrient solution will be pumped from a 5 gallon bucket to halo-style drip emitters 6 times a day for 5-10 second intervals. I am going to try to use inline flow control knobs to dial in the watering and allow for slight runoff every fertigation. For lighting I am using my HLG 100 watt lights, one per plant. I am a big fan of these quantum boards, they have given great performance in the past! Thanks for reading! 🌱👍 May 13 day 1: the Blackberry breached after germinating in a rapid rooter for 2 days. I am impressed with how quickly this seed popped! It had no issues with stuck seed casings, which I find is the main downside of germinating in rapid rooters. I am excited about this one! May 16 day 3: Auto watering drip emitters are set up, and I am testing them to dial in the amount of runoff it produces. I also planted the seedlings/rapid rooters into 1 litre grow bags and began feeding nutrients. They are still under the humidity dome for now for the time being and seem to be doing well. Day 4: seedlings doing well, they are staying under the dome untill they grow their next set of leaves, then I will take them out and run a humidifier.

not sure where the dry weight thing went but i dont fill in wet weight. who even weighs there whole plant? dry yield is 269gram of pure bud. Grown in a 22liter pot with biobizz lightmix soil and greenhousefeeding bio line this smells so hard that my neigbor called the cops. she even smelled it in her apartment so its game over for me because off this plant. never came across such a weed smelling strain in the 8 years that im growing. hope to be back in 6 months or so.

Every other Day some Calmag... a little bittle topDress yesterday. Pipi´s thoughts are this is girl vegged 9 Weeks and is in an 8 Liter fabric Pot. Couldn´t transplant her, but Topped and trained her. So i want Biggie Buddies, so since she´s in Flower week 3/4 that´s my last Chance to enrich the soil with dry nutrients for them to dissolve mostly and i can 'flush'. So i wanna feed her more than the 8 Litres could hold, but carefully and step by step. And just a little. No Pipi was used on this plant.

First week back with my plants and they’re wayyy bigger than I thought they’d get! Decided to do a big defoliation since it’s about the 3-4 week in flower. And they’re getting stanky

A honest opinion? I’m sorry that she could’t grow with all the space and light she needed. She’s good, I removed all the lower branches that light could’t reach, but she has not much space. Well, I removed 3 plants from the grow room and now she’s feeling better, but I hope lower branches will stretch up and fatten up a lot more. Peace ✌️

Lots of flowers everywhere on Day 50

Giving Alien Vs Triangle a second try after my first started showing signs of herming (bananas). Planted the seed directly in soil and she sprouted in 5 days. I'm not going to do HST bending as I did with the first one. I know I accidentally went overboard with HST the first time and that most likely caused her to herm out. I want to get her to harvest as quickly as possible so just going to do some light defoliation and a FIM pinch on this girl. The first AVT smelled insanely good when I chopped her, I'm looking forward to bringing this one to a proper harvest. 👍 My Perpetual Harvest strategy…. Originally my plan was to start 2 seeds each month, but had some seeds from one breeder that did not germinate early in my rotation. Ultimately, this caused single seeds to pop and messed up my 2 at a time plans. But, that seemed to work out OK, because now I think starting one seed every 3 weeks is a better strategy. This should provide me with 4-5 plants at a time, instead of 6. However… Since I need to shut down over the summer because my tent is currently in the attic, I’m starting 2-3 seeds at at time for the last couple of rounds. Plants get fed once weekly on weekends. Seedlings get water only. Plants in vegetation get water and Recharge. Flowering plants get water, Recharge or Big Bloom (Fox Farm). Feeding is done using 2 gallon watering can. Any additional waterings during the week are given on an as needed basis per plant. I lift the plants to help determine which plants are more dry (lighter) and provide water any plants via water bottles and watering spikes. I give each pot a quarter turn every day in an effort to make sure the plants get equal lighting from all sides. I rotate the plant in place by turning the pot 90 degrees (I am not rearranging the layout of the plants in the tent on a daily basis). The soil is an ‘organic super soil’ I mixed myself using organic top soil, organic potting soil, organic compost, organic peat moss, organic perlite, organic vermiculite, lime, epsom salt, expanded clay pellets and Jobe’s organic fast start. I am also recycling my soil and water with Recharge when using recycled soil. For plant training I have tried a variety of things, but my plans now are to do LST bending only, no HST anymore. I may decide to go back to HST again in the future, but I’m curious to compare LST training only to see how that goes. Around week 3 I'll do a FIM pinch once there are 4-5 nodes established. And some defoliation around the 3rd week of flowering. I have been doing HST bending and having good results, but think the HST may be causing the plants to take longer to harvest. I hope FIM/defoliation only will help increase harvests while getting me to harvest sooner. Harvest

August 18, Day 28. Had to flush on Friday due to nutrient lockout. There were purple stems which caught my attention to a possible nutrient deficiency. Coupled by the dark green older fan leaves and bright green of new growth, my Apera TDS meter confirmed nutrient lockout. Kaboom was flushed a total of 4 times Friday night, then foliar fed at 25% strength the next morning. She was given 1.1 liters of pHd water since the top inch was already dry despite flushing the night before. I am taking her thirst to mean she is recovering well. I plan on resuming the GH least aggressive feed schedule tomorrow and will begin feeding with every watering. Now that she's on the mend from the nutrient lockout I can tell she's thirstier than what she used to be, I'm taking that to mean she's hanging in there. Friends, growmies, cousins, comrades, colleagues and cultivars. Updates last week were minimal because this plant mama came down with COVID. Flushing a plant during COVID fever is no joke. Stay well and healthy everyone. August 19, Day 29. Fed at least aggressive strength today until 25% runoff. Included a new supplement to the nutrient line up, silica. Today is the first time I use it so I went easy and used the weakest dose. Plant has 5 main sites so far, yahoozie. To top a second time? No se todavia, deja lo pienso jajaja August 21, Day 31.Topped one more time, clipped the tallest point to give the others time to catch up. I know I will need to defoliate a tiny bit, soon, but I'm a bit scared to remove either too much or a mega vital leaf. I'll watch videos about it and aim for next week. I sprayed the top inch with pH'd water and will feed and water tomorrow morning. August 22, Day 32. Fed and watered, no recharge since I used it on Day 29. As I repositioned the kabob sticks, I noticed a couple of milestones - she is in the very beginning stages of forming pistils and she is beginning to smell. I plan on keeping her in veg for at least 2 more weeks, hopefully this isn't super ambitious for a plant named Kaboom lol 😂 August 24, Day 34. I checked on Kaboom and found that the top inch was totally dry so I fed and watered her. I used everything except recharge, but will use it at next feeding since I'm aiming for 10 days in between applications. I think Kaboom is looking fabulous
