Another week with a lot of studing in order to understand what's going on, to then take the proper action. It hasn't been easy, most of the time I have no clue of what the plants are doing. I tried some fimming last week to help even the canopy but it didn't seem to work. Two of them are smaller than the others, I took the smaller one out of the center of the light to give the chance to the others to get more light since it wasn't growing at all due light burn, and one of them was too far from the light, so now is very stretchy. They have been growing fast, any suggestions on how to train them? I think is time to get a new light. I'm thinking about getting a HPS 600 watts, what do you think?

Always good seeds from RoyalQueen Seeds.. The pineapple kush was clones. Unfortunately something happened and it didnt got finished. Other than that, some different strains i have beeen growing over the years :)0

I start flunshing now after the last dose of organic additives wich boost sugar and protein storages in the buds to create new tissues and enhance flavour an odour.

The CP are becoming pretty top heavy and i find myself picking 1-2 from the ground each visit, I waited the containers with stones to see if this would help. The 3 remaining CP stand as tall as me in their containers (6ft) and are 107 days from seed, i'm expecting a pretty decent yield from them in October :)

Still stretching out them girls are , hope they are almost done 😬.. I think the stretch is pretty well done and my 4x4 tent is full of bud sites wow this is gonna be a great finish I think🤘👌 I took my hps of the hangers and attached it directly to the top of the tent for more room . I have the cool tube hps.with lots of air flow so it doesn't get very hot.

Most of the day the ladies are under a roof due to rain. Maybe tomorrow a bit of sunshine but the weekend doesnt look good. Like i said another rainy Day,hang in there ladies!

Day 64: It seems to go well. I am still keeping an eye on the "hanging" leaves. I think they tend to hang a little more when light on, and less with light off but its hard to say if it is normal. It might be as @GrowingGrannie mentioned, they might be under watered, as there is not much run-off at the last couple of watering's, maybe 1l each time and I will give them a 30% run-off next time to be sure UPDATE: I have noticed some more brown spots on the right plant caused by Calcium Deficiency. I think I should up the PH a bit more, going for 6.5 this time. I will also increase my CalMag supplement by 50%, and do 30% run-off today Day 66: Thank you all for the kind answers 🙏 You all have different opinions, and it is hard to pinpoint the exact problem. I am almost certain that I got some heat/light stress as mentioned by @GrowingGrannie and @Chow_13. I have therefore raised the lamp and are keeping the dimmer very low, using about 140W in total. I am still investigating if there might be other problems to it. @m0use, thank you for your answer. I do not think they are thirsty, at least not any more, as I am already on the subject for the last couple of days. About PH, It was difficult to get a good picture of the PH solution, but it was light-green to green (6.5-7.0) on the picture (And that was run-off PH) and what I put in was adjusted slowly from yellow to light-green aka 6.0-6.5 (I wrote 6.25 but it was auto adjusted) @gottagrowsometime, thank you for the answer. I do not think it is a nitrogen toxicity. My leaves aren't that dark green, although they are a bit to the dark side but not like what I see on other pictures with that problem. I also think the curling is caused by light/heat stress as I just got a new lamp and are experimenting with it. But I will keep your suggestion in the back of my head! @Chow_13, thank you very much for your answer. I think you are spot on, however I am not sure it is the only problem... It might be as you say, nutrients are not absorbed correctly due to the light-stress, but I will not put all my money on that @Nugsery and @GrowingGrannie, a big thank you for your answers. The deficiencies might not be the same, but the cure is very similar. I cannot make up who is right, but I do have a plan. I will follow your recommendation @GrowingGrannie and @Nugsery, and do a flush, but with a ph 5.8 as both nutrients should be able to be absorbed in that level. I will then give her a light nutrient mix and adding PK, also 5.8 ph. This is almost the same solution for both deficiencies. I will then slowly get the ph back to 6.2 @ernesttwwg, thank you for your answer. I have known for some time I have some Interveinal chlorosis, but I do not know what is causing it. There is multiple deficiencies giving those symptoms. The tacoing of leaves, and leaf tips curling down I think is caused by the light, and I have therefor raised the light. I will keep investigating the symptoms you mention OBS: I will not edit my nutrient schema as this is only temporarily, next watering will be as described UPDATE: After flushing with 15L~ ph 5.8~ and a small feed with 5.8~ ph I still get about 6.5~ ph in my run-off water. I am going to do another flush tomorrow to see I can bring it down to around 6.0~ ph Day 67: I think I see small improvements on the leaves. The new heat/light level seem to have done something. I did that second flush and are still getting about 6.5 ph in run-off.... I think I will let her dry for now, monitoring what happens, and do another flush in a couple of days

May 2nd: She seems to be growing strong. She's trying to grow vertically! Just natural well water. Light intensity is at 75%. No nutes, yet.

Que pasa familia, puesto que la compañera y yo estamos bajo mínimos, hemos decidido proceder a un lavado de raíces temprano, y un estrés hídrico para limpiar raíces y estresarla un poco. Todo va sobre ruedas , puesto que el Covid afecta al confinamiento, decidimos cortar las gorillas estos días siguientes para secar y en nada tener algún bote para subsistir 😂🤣. -El estrés hídrico es reducir cada riego la cantidad de agua, para que la planta se estrese y escupa tricomas sus últimos días. Esta variedad de sweet seeds es INCREÍBLE, aun cortándola pronto me parece que los resultados son inmejorables, su olor a melón me encanta y se ve repleta de thc. Nos vemos en la cosecha fumetillas, y mucho ánimo para todos.

Mein Problemkind zeigt langsam erste anzeichen von Stretch. Riesige Fächerblätter... teilweise auch Interessante Muster vom Stickstoff überschuss zu sehen. Um den unteren Trieben für den Stretch nochmal die Chance zu geben, habe ich die großen Fächerblätter entfernt. Präventiv Neemöl gesprüht, weil ich ein paar Freunde gesehen habe. Spraymix alle 2 Tage. Heute wird auch die Lampe auf 12/12 umgestellt.

FD36 - True to form I completely forgot to take any pics before the lights were out. The third week in a row. I'm detecting a pattern... lol FD37 - Pics! FD38 - Today, I was proactive in trying to prevent botrytis (budrot) since I have had problems in the past when temperatures and humidity get too high in late flower. I started with defoliating hard by removing fan leaves. That should lower the humidity in the tent as there are fewer leaves to transpire moisture, and also increase the airflow around the buds. Finally, I put my small humidifier in the tent to further lower the humidity. FD41 - The anti-humidity measures are working. The tent went from an average RH in the high 60s to the high 40s. (The average RH in the last 24 hours was 48.9%.) I'm happy with that, which should be enough to avoid budrot. Better safe than sorry, so I did additional LST to open up the plants and thus increase the airflow around the buds. It's also helpful to increase light penetration, so win-win. FD42 - We're at the end of the sixth week of flower, and things are chugging along in the tent. The buds are slowly fattening up, but it will take some time before they are done. There isn't much to do in the tent this late in flower besides watering. Today, each girl got 2.5-liters of water @ pH 6.5.

2nd net is up. Early bud formations are promising. holding up to the extremes pretty well, some leaves taking minor damage, but overall, she is holding up, gave her 1 night at 50F see how she would react, stressful. Not advised as it messes with her metabolism, but I want to see if it triggers any anthocyanin response. Love to see her purp up but no signs yet. Homework. If Rubisco activity is impaired and it cannot properly function or regenerate its substrate, the plant's leaves are likely to turn a pale green or lime green, a condition known as chlorosis. Essentially, Rubisco activity is highly regulated and susceptible to various environmental and metabolic factors that can cause it to become inhibited, leading to an apparent failure in RuBP regeneration due to a lack of consumption. Rubisco regeneration is intrinsically linked to nitrogen supply because Rubisco is a major sink for nitrogen in plants, typically accounting for 15% to over 25% of total leaf nitrogen. The regeneration phase itself consumes nitrogen through the synthesis of the Rubisco enzyme and associated proteins (like Rubisco activase), and overall nitrogen status heavily influences the efficiency of RuBP regeneration. RuBisCO is a very large enzyme that constitutes a significant proportion (up to 50%) of leaf soluble protein and requires large investments in nitrogen. Insufficient nitrogen supply limits the plant's ability to produce adequate amounts of RuBisCO, thereby limiting the overall capacity for photosynthesis and carbon fixation. Maintaining the optimal, slightly alkaline pH is crucial for the proper function and regeneration of Rubisco. Deviations in either direction (too high or too low) disrupt the enzyme's structure, activation state, and interaction with its substrates, leading to decreased activity and impaired RuBP regeneration. (LIME GREEN CHLOROSIS) Structural Component: Nitrogen is an essential building block for all proteins, and the sheer abundance of the Rubisco protein makes it the single largest storage of nitrogen in the leaf. Synthesis and Activity: Adequate nitrogen supply is crucial for the synthesis and maintenance of sufficient Rubisco enzyme and Rubisco activase (Rca), the regulatory protein responsible for maintaining Rubisco's active state. Nitrogen deficiency leads to a decrease in the content and activity of both Rubisco and Rca, which in turn limits the maximum carboxylation rate, Vmax, and the rate of RuBP regeneration Jmax, thus reducing overall photosynthetic capacity. Nitrogen Storage and Remobilization: Rubisco can act as a temporary nitrogen storage protein, which is degraded to remobilize nitrogen to other growing parts of the plant, especially under conditions of nitrogen deficiency or senescence. Nitrogen Use Efficiency (NUE): The allocation of nitrogen to Rubisco is a key determinant of a plant's photosynthetic nitrogen use efficiency (PNUE). In high-nitrogen conditions, plants may accumulate a surplus of Rubisco, which may not be fully activated, leading to a lower PNUE. Optimizing the amount and activity of Rubisco relative to nitrogen availability is a target for improving crop NUE. Photorespiration and Nitrogen Metabolism: Nitrogen metabolism is also linked to the photorespiration pathway (which competes with carboxylation at the Rubisco active site), particularly in the reassimilation of ammonia released during the process. To increase RuBisCO regeneration, which refers to the process of forming the CO2 acceptor molecule Ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate (RuBP) during photosynthesis, the primary methods involve optimizing the levels and activity of Rubisco activase (Rca) and enhancing the performance of other Calvin-Benson-Bassham (CBB) cycle enzymes. At the center of the porphyrin ring, nestled within its nitrogen atoms, is a Magnesium ion (Mg2+). This magnesium ion is crucial for the function of chlorophyll, and without it, the pigment cannot effectively capture and transfer light energy. Mg acts as a cofactor: Mg2+ binds to Rubisco after an activator CO2 molecule, forming a catalytically competent complex (Enzyme-CO2-Mg2+). High light + CO2) increases demand: Under high light (60 DLI is a very high intensity, potentially saturating) and high CO2, the plant's capacity for photosynthesis is high, and thus the demand for activated Rubisco and the necessary Mg2+ cofactor increases. Monitoring is key: The most effective approach in a controlled environment is to monitor the plant's physiological responses e.g., leaf Mg2+ concentration, photosynthetic rate, Rubisco activation state, and adjust the nutrient solution/fertilizer to maintain adequate levels, rather than supplementing a fixed "extra" amount. In practice, this means ensuring that Mg2+ is not a limiting factor in the plant's standard nutrient solution when pushing the limits with high light and CO2. Applying Mg2+ through foliar spray is beneficial to Rubisco regeneration, particularly in alleviating the negative effects of magnesium (Mg) deficiency and high-temperature stress (HTS). While Mg can be leached from soil, within the plant it is considered a mobile nutrient, particularly in the phloem. Foliar-applied Mg is quickly absorbed by the leaves and can be translocate to other plant parts, including new growth and sink organs. Foliar application of: NATURES VERY OWN MgSO4 @ 15.0g L-1 in a spray bottle. Foliar sprays are often recommended as a rapid rescue measure for existing deficiencies or as a supplement during critical growth stages, when demand for Mg is high. Application in the early morning or late evening can improve absorption and prevent leaf burn. The starting point [of creativity] is curiosity: pondering why the default exists in the first place. Week 5 ----- Day 29 ----- Fed 1100ppm at 6.4ph 23 Liters Everything's good. No real updates. Front right Glookies stretched a bit but has stopped. Plants are perfect, couldn't ask for a better beginning to week 5. *Update* Easy day, end of light cycle. 3 new pics. ---- Day 30 ----- Some fun photos today for this easy day. Humidity in basement FINALLY hit 40% this morning. Within 5 days it should be 30-35% residual basement and 45% tent for a good residual humidity. The hand shot has my fingers and palm forward from the bud tip, the bud tip is actually past my hand but it's nearly impossible to get a perfect shot with my arm in the tent and my other one far out trying to take a photo i can't see. The Tropicanna Popcorn nugs are already bigger than my thumb... gonna be fun in 4 weeks to see bud finishing sizes Wedding Cake - Cherry HubbaBubba smell Tropicanna Glookies - Pink Bubblegum with a strawberry like hint peaking through. Fattening up nicely. 1200 ppm 6.4 pH 23 Liters If anyone is wondering why I switched to Blackstrap Molasses I put up the Nutrition Facts.. in 20 grams you have carbohydrates, potassium, Calcium, Iron, B6 Vitamin, Magnesium, Zinc.. and that's only the "significant" nutrients (Human based for that picture) It also contains micro traces of copper and more. pH is quite nice too, with the nutrient regiment i'm on, it finishes itself at 6.4pH so I don't have to manipulate it with pH up/down... Loving everything so far. Humidity in basement was 39% today, SO damn close. Tent closed at lights on (highest residual humidity point) was at 48% ... woo hoo 3% more to go!!! ------ Day 32 ------ Wow. Wedding Cake larger buds I can't even wrap my hand around.. These buds are going to be mooooonstrous. Humidity was under 40% in basement, tent was 48% this morning. Great news for me. Easy day, pretty much standard operating procedures from here on out.. feed, drain dehumidifier, strengthen stems by shaking plants, open/close tents... rinse repeat. Both plants are amazing, great genetics so far regarding bud structure building/plant size. ----- Day 33 ----- 47.5% residual humidity Fed at 1150ppm 6.4pH 23L Everything's perfect, 30~ days left. ----- Day 34 ----- 48% humidity in tent, i'm a happy camper. Everything's perfect. Bulk has started, front right Tropicanna Glookies had double in thickness and diameter top buds of most stems. Wedding cake 14 inch stem I've named Big Bertha. Excited to watch her fatten up on the couch so-to-speak. I'm now on autopilot. Fed yesterday while half asleep, didn't even remember doing it. Thank god I take pics of ppm/pH before every feeding for data. One more feeding this week before week 6 happens tomorrow. This week Liquid Koolbloom ends, KoolBloom Dry begins for maximum bulk on week 6 first feeding (2 days into week 6) ----- Day 35 ----- Last day of week 5!!! Fed at 1150ppm 6.4ph 23L Plants are perfect, humidity is great. Smell is RAMPED up now. Strong candy weed smell.

7/22/2023 - Day 18 Veg: she is definitely small for her age. She looks healthy, so I'm assuming it must be a watering issue. My environment has been dialed in with an averge VPD og .85, so the plants should be growing well. The cover crop is doing great. I've only been watering every 3 or 4 days, so I'm going to try watering more often, but with less water. Not too worried about it as long as she stays healthy. I had the light pretty high, so I dropped it today, bringing the PPFD up to just over 500. I was at about 300, so that should get her going. The shore fly issue seems to be getting better, but it comes in waves, so I'm not sure if I've been totally successful yet. 7/23/2023: foiler fed today with Pure Protein Dry, BuildASoil Big 6 Micro Nutrients, calmag, silica, and ThermX-70. Also did a light watering with the same mix. 7/24/2023: it looks like she like the foiler feeding yesterday. 7/25/2023: today is veg day 21, so officially the three week point. Watered today, mixed with silica, calmag, Rootwise Bio-Catalyst, and Yah-Whey Thrive. 7/26/2023: Time to chop and drop the earth box today.
