Harvest Update – RUNTZ Both RUNTZ phenos have been harvested, officially bringing this incredible journey to the end. It was a grow full of satisfaction, learning, and beautiful results. I’m truly impressed with the genetics from Zamesia both plants delivered super dense, frosty buds with an absolutely insane sweet and candy-like aroma. The terpene profile on these girls is just mouthwatering and promises a top-tier experience in the vaporizer. Solid, rock-hard nugs on both phenos this strain really lives up to the hype! Special shoutout to Plagron and their product Green Sensation – it worked wonders, especially in the final stages. They all needed me to do surgery to get the shells off let's hope they grow. I got these as a bonus when I bought a pack like a year ago so there kinda old and I opened the package when i got them so humidity prob git to then little over time with an open package. I'm not sure what to expect from these but lit has failed to have anything other than a1 plants so

Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great week. It was a good week again for the 5 mainlines, I did some final LST to try and keep the mains level, and I also defoliated the lower leaves to improve the air flow. I am still feeding the same veg nutrients which is just amor si, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will start transitioning to flower nutrients tomorrow and I will gradually switch over to all over flower nutrients by the end of the week. The ladies are about 24" inches tall, but I do anticipate them growing some more before the stretch ends. I am pretty much done with LST at this point, I will just continue to defoliate as necessary and make sure they are enjoying their environment. Still very happy with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent. Hi, exciting times, flowering, see some stratching, but not too much. Plant now drinks 2 liters a time, each 2 days. Befor I was giving 1 liter every 3 days. So water cosumption encreased more then 3 times. Smell is not strong yet, as expected. Not much really I need to do escept mixing fertilizer and water the plant.

These ones going crazy right there! Week 6 of flowering just a couple day ago they started to bulk up. I did some defoliation but nothing big Strong and extraordinary smell of both strains. Two different worlds in tha tent.

Day 56 Almost there! Bad news is I have a hermie. Found 2 bananas on my lemon shining silver haze no.2 plant (in pics) so I picked them off. Hoping it hasn’t done much damage as it’s only shown up now in the last stages of flowering 🙏 Plants are now being flushed so not long now!! Critical looks ready so she will be first, just want to get in a few more days of flushing. One love ✌️

Overall, I am extremely happy with the genetics of the Auto Euforia and the general success of the grow. I always like to reflect on mistakes I have made, so let me lay them out here: I overlit the plant during veg, contributing to it's bushy nature. It grew well but this would be a waste of electricity if I was growing more commercially. During the last week of flower, my region of Ontario was hit with tons of rain and humidity. I took some steps to increase circulation of dehumidified air, but lowering 95rh to 65-70rh is still insufficient and I lost some control of the environment. The awful result was the start of mold in some select areas, particularly in the fattest buds and where leaves were cut away and petioles remained. This issue is not due to Dutch Passions great genetics, and is entirely due to a combination of an unseasonable environment and my own overconfidence. This mold was never clearly apparent on the outside of the buds, but I found it will trichomes scouting under magnification. This forced me to speed up the harvest and drying process. It also means that I have had to carefully grade the buds into those safe for smoking and vaping, those mold free but needing a second examination (will be rosin pressed), and those close enough to spots of mold to be only for for edibles. Any moldy bud was of course cut away and will be disposed of. Nevertheless, I have many ounces of fantastic buds, and will be making some nice pressed rosin based 510 cartridges. I will edit the harvest post with more information after the cure, and showing the various processing I will be doing. Happy growing! 🌱

Tip - Before every watering I ensure to leave the water rest for a minimum of 24-36hours to allow for chlorine dissipation.

But for those who love the details, the full spread of pictures is right here, as always. t this point in flower, the girls are not eating — they’re just drinking clean water with nothing but System Clean in the reservoir, at a rate of 0.25 ml per liter. This is part of a gentle, prolonged flush phase I like to implement, giving the plants a chance to metabolize and fade naturally. The goal is to promote clean, vibrant flowers that finish with optimal expression, without rushing the process. No forced flush, just time and care. Lighting-wise, the spectrum has been tuned with precision — we’re currently running 40% on the whites, with reds and UVs at 100% to drive trichome development, resin production, and color expression in these final days. The plants are loving it — they’re soaking in the deeper wavelengths that signal the end of their life cycle and responding with a final push of energy. And yes — we’ve been running 11 hours of light and 13 hours of darkness from the very start of flower. It’s not the usual 12/12, and it comes with its pros and cons. On the upside, it helps speed up ripening slightly, encourages more compact flower formation, and mimics the natural seasonal decline in daylight. On the flip side, it slightly reduces the overall DLI (daily light integral), so you need to ensure your PPFD and spectrum are dialed in just right to avoid sacrificing yield. -4/2/23 Start of Week --Week 2 -4/4/23 (Day 17) --Observations: still not having problems with daily nutrient spray, looks as if it has lost the explosive growth that it had in the first week. --Changes: lowered RH to 50%, also started spraying soil with nutrient water --Diary Entry: the HR was lowered because of other plants being in the last weeks before harvest, so it will be going back up in two weeks. the light cycle will change to 18/ 6 light/night once the other plants get harvested. the light will be lowered at the beginning of next week but the intensity will not be lowered unless problems arise. will be checking soil for PH and temperature at the end of the week, may take photo of the soil probe readings. -4/5/23 (Day 18) --Diary Entry: full watering without nutrients and sprayed with nutrients. Still working on first shade leaves, no second set yet. --Post-Note: still trying find good settings on my new Fujifilm X-H2 for the two lenses that I have, Fujifilm 16mm-80mm zoom and 30mm macro. Photos are only going to get better, also still having problems with focus stacking but that could be staking program. This is my first grow and now when i see those flowers i'm really dissapointed that auto they are so small. Xd Anyway better then nothing. The smell is really strong,can't wait to taste them
