Growing these ladies was great and super easy. I ran into a problem early on from not using the correct PH when watering and they bounced back nicely. Seed to harvest in 10 weeks probably could have went another week.

This is my first grow in 25 years and it was a pleasure. Now that it's legal to grow 4 plants in Virginia, I did not waste any time getting started. Maintenance was easy. Well water in Autopots with Sohum living soil. All I needed to do was train the plants.

Flowering nice. Madarin Cookies are two in back and one in center Silver Kush are two up front. I ran out of room for scrogging branches in back, letting them just strech. Unfortunately that has me keeping the light higher than Id like. Since S.K. are shorter, the one at right side is 30" from light, while stretched branches in back are 12" from light. Averaging 18" overall from lights.... Hope i dont get light bleaching! UPDATE: Added 2nd screen on Day2 to keep stretchy branches lower Cookies are flowering nice, one of the silver kush is just starting to flower while the other hasn't started yet.... hmmm 2-3 gallons water/nutes per 5 plants, alternating with plain water (just calmag, malassis, Ph. 6.4) every other day. Let's see how it goes. I raised up the water so it is now 150ml 2x per plant so 300 per plant per day. The same with fertilization and the same days remain. I keep 14 hours darkness and 10 hours light schedule for Purple Punch obviously I take out from the tent and put separately. I can't wait to harvest the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe so I can use the tent for the Purple Punch. I give 18 hours light on so 12 hours on 4 hours off and 6 hours on 2 hours off. Basically, it was the only solution because I put the Purple Punch in at 23:00 o clock and take out at 9 am. So the light on from 23:00 to 11 am and then 15:00-21:00 and off from 21:00 to 23:00. It was the only good way based on my timeline working hours and school. I also see the first signs of flowering after 7 days of light schedule change of the Purple Punch. Hope it goes well. They have a totally different smell, both strong, but the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe is like sweet and aromatic, and also like a muck heap 🤐😅👻The Purple Punch has strong smell but not sweet more like citrus. Saturday: I always had some yellow fan leaves but now it is getting more on the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe. Hopefully, it causes the flowering stage because the plant wants to use the energy for buds making and takes out of the leaves, so it is a natural process. I read that it means the plant is on the halfway of the flower. Hope the best. Tuesday: Purple Punch does well flowering, and the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe I think one more week so I will start flushing from tomorrow. I have checked the trichomes, they are cloudy, milky and the pistils started getting brown also so soon it will be done. The fan leaves also getting yellow as it can be seen so I think the next is the final week, if not then no more than 2 weeks and it is done. I can't really wait... End of this week Gelato Cookie D'ohpe is 70cm and the Purple Punch is 40 cm.

I do this for myself and for a steady flow of my medicine. Everything you read and see in my diary is 100% honest and I will never distort or beautify anything here. I document my crops so that I can learn from my mistakes and also to look back at those different crops. I try to update with pictures every day and with text if something special has happened in the garden. This is my strainhunt for the best medicine and the beginning of my journey with cannabis and the cultivation of it. This is my second feminised cultivation ever. First, I'm just going to say something about my grow room. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps for bloom. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. (I’m starting to try timelapsed videos of growth so lmk what you think) So I’ve added a little lst to #1(the one I topped) just to capitalize on it I guess. But they’re all doing really well at the end of week 4. I’m trying to get better with photos and documenting so bare with me but as for #3, I’m really impressed with how fast she’s gotten bushy and with how she’s taken to lst. I’m doing different things to different plants to see what I like and what works for me. #4 is my control and I’ve done nothing but water and feed and honestly, she’s still doing just fine 💪🏻

They're fattening up pretty well. I didn't do anything different than last week as far as nutrient levels. They really like to eat. I'm growing with 100w less light for this grow so the outer corner plants are suffering a little but still good. 💪🏾

Today on day 17 from date of birth Iam preparing a worm casting tea. In a cheese cloth bag ,Made up of 2 cups of worm castings 2 tablespoons of unsulfured molasses,2 tablespoons of mineralized phosphate (bat shit) ,2 tablespoons of soluble seaweed extract . 2 tablespoons of alfalfa meal 2 tablespoons of all purpose 4-4-4 all Gia green products other than. I also sprinkled in some great white premium mycorrhizae inton2 gallons of water. Tea will brew for 24 hours before applying.

6/17 - Watered today. 5 days since last watering. Made sure to add water slowly to the cups, as the medium I'm using is a coco/peat based medium, and I realize that peat becomes hydrophobic when it dries out, and the top was close to that. By watering pretty slow, it allows more of it to be absorbed vs just running through. Both Chinook Haze plants have 3 nodes already, and are starting their 4th. 6/18 - I watered yesterday, then life hit, and the plants were without lights for just over 24 hours. Looks like the newer area started to yellow a bit, which I assume will green again within a day or two now that the lights are back on. 6/19 - Plants are looking good to me. There seems to be a lot less vein swelling, so it appears the chance of overwatering that looked like it was coming on a week ago is subsiding. Got to let them grow some more before I start to chop them up in an attempt to mainline. 6/21 - Plants will be watered tomorrow. Other than that, it is just slowly moving along, and I am considering going to 1g pots soon. I believe I am going to try to go from solo cup to 1g to 5g this time, and I think that by doing so, I might not need to fertilize at all during veg at least. I figure if I can get 3-4 weeks out of the solo cup, then similar out of a 1g, by the time I get to 5g, I will be close to 8-12 weeks, and close to flipping time. I have dimmed the lights a bit, and raised them close to 33" above the 2 Chinook Haze plants in hope to induce a little stretch between nodes, but they still seem to be growing fairly compact. 6/22 - Watered the plants today. Could have probably waited another day, but I figure 5 days between watering was enough, and the cups did feel pretty light.

Kinda a rough week, everyone. I’ve been battling the flu all week and my energy is zapped. So firstly I had been growing increasingly annoyed of leaf clawing. I addressed overwatering and started only watering every 4-5 days and the girls responded well. I researched defoliation as much as I could and gave it a go because the plants weren’t getting optimal light. Might’ve overdone it, I’m not sure. Then came lowering the screens to begin scrogging. I’ve read probably every forum and article and looked at dozens of diaries; but it feels like when I’m tying branches to the screen it’s just stacking them on other leaves and blocking more light. I hate my LED, it’s probably only good for one plant. But today one of the bulbs went out, brand new light. I decided to buy a 315w CMH Light should be here next week. Live and learn. Should have done a single plant grow. It’s a new week though it will all work out. 🍁

Nothing much to report. Buds gradually thickening up. Smells gorgeous! Will be a shame to cut her down...the chop is coming though. I'm not sure the yield will be that good as she didn't stretch much but time will tell...

**I am glad I saved pics. from weeks 1-3 because I was lagging in getting this account setup** - with that's being said, the "girls" (speaking it into existence) are coming along quite well. My last grow I used Green Planet's: Medi-One from veg - harvest, and although the overall turnout was pretty good, I just felt like I was a little heavy handed. This time I am trying something a little different and I'll be feeding the plants coconut water and potentially: -rice water** -banana peel water -boiled egg shell water -onion skin water* I am trying to do this as organic/affordable as possible, and although I haven't seen many cannabis forums talk about these natural fertilizers in depth (if at all), I have found that they are quite common practices in Indian gardening (if anyone is interested I'll link the YouTube videos). I can only imagine that these techniques are not isolated but, most likely common in Eastern gardening in general.... *if anyone can confirm this let me know Also, I did go ahead and top 3 of the 4 plants at the 5th node. I am going to hold off on topping the runt for a while and will go ahead and solely focus on LST for now. I don't want o stress her any further. **Lastly I am not the type of grower that measures things and has schedules, I admire that style of regiment and see it being beneficial commercially... but this is ENTIRELY about observation and the pleasure of growing personally so, forgive me if I don't have detailed notation lol... 63 days of flower and chopped. Didn't want much amber on this indica. Weight will be determined after dry. Buds are basically dripping in resin and are frosty AH. Pics just don't do it justice.
