Day 15 - The new week meant a change of water, nutrients and an adjustment of lights. Chong is looking like a short, but sturdy little seedling with broad fan leaves and big roots. Max is 10cm vs. Chong at 7cm and her leaves are perky and the stem is thick. They both look good for their own individual reasons. Looking at the roots specifically, Chong seems to be facing similar problems as Cheech in the Cookies Gelato grow - the aeration in the bucket appears to have “dead zones” because of the colour the roots and the manner in which they are sticking together. I’ve adjusted the air stone to be more central in the bucket and cleaned the air tubes because the nutrients stick on the tubes. Other than that, I’ve controlled the PH back down to 6.0 after the addition of the nutrients using the Milwaukee PH controller and decided not to adjust the height of the lights because there was only about 2cm growth this week. Also added the first wire to give Chong a bit of a better bend in her stem, gently starting off the process of LST. Day 20 and the ladies are getting closer to topping. Both are showing clear third nodes with the fourth node opening up. I am sure we will be topping during this next week of veg.

Día 40 me ha dado carencias de calcio magnesio y posforo y potasio, me he dado cuenta un poco tarde... Las hojas estaban caídas y se me estaban poniendo amarillas con manchas marrones...les puse calmag y empezaron a buscar la luz ... También me di cuenta, que las Lili que no veía se me ponían las hojas moradas, creía que era exceso de nitrógeno, pero no era posforo y potasio... Así, que lo que no quería hacer, lo he hecho he metido a tope de nutrientes y más... Espero no liarla más...

Hi Growmies, She has now completely stiffened and the buds start stretching along the colas. It’s still very hot here at times and temperatures climb towards 30 Celsius, hopefully that will fix itself with autumn around the corner, other than that I ordered a secret jardin temp controlled vent in order to get a bit more control of my tents temp. She already starts smelling very strong like oranges with some citrus subnotes. Will also add another fan next week to get some circulation under the screen. Flower Week 3

Day 44 - The smell is divine, and the buds are looking very pretty. Beautiful fade going on in the leaves, almost like a purple/red/black. Planning to tapper down the nutrients as we are coming closer to Harvest. Crucial to keep the pH in range during flowering and being away a few days, I wasn't able to correct it until I was back. So they were drinking more water than uptaking nutrients.. leaving a high EC in the system. Corrected the issue by adding plain RO water, treated with cleanse, no nutrients. They are now on track and could do with a last defoliation, but I've been holding it off. Will get around to it over the next few days. The buds are sticky, smell great and rock hard. Dehumidifier was added to the tent to try lower the humidity to a better range. Can't wait to see the end results and product. Another 2 weeks an I think we will be good.

For my second grow, I am OVER THE MOON!! I just yielded 16.1 ounces (wet trimmed) from a single lady in a small 23"x19" x 48" DIY tent. The strain; Mandarin Cookies v2 from Ethos Genetics, was very easy to manage and did not have any issues even in my small space. It was really difficult to determine the run time, it suggested 9 weeks from the breeder, I ended up going almost 13 weeks!! the trichomes stayed white

Week 26 november - 2 december 29 november - D7 flowering

On the second day of this week, I filled the reservoir again. This time I have an RO filter available to deal with the tap water (EC 0.8mS). I mixed 10l of RO and 10l of tap, which netted a pH of 7 and an EC of just below 0.4. But of course I had to add more CalMag to make up for the filtered calcium. Even after adding all nutrients, the EC was still just shy of 1.5mS which surprised me a little, I was expecting to land closer to 1.7mS, so I am going to increase it a bit next time, probably to around 1.9mS. The plants are in stretch, and they are indeed stretching quite a bit. NYC and SAD are the tallest right now, although the BJ has been catching up a bit recently. They are between around 45cm and 58cm tall, so overall not too much of a difference, which is also good, but I need to keep an eye on it as I would like to keep them below 70cm. I have no plans to put a net in place at the moment, but this depends on the growth of the next week. All of the plants have been showing preflowers around day 7-9 of flower. No signs of pollen sacs so far. Aside from one calcium-deficiency-lookalike type of leaf issue, which I suspect is something else, ther are no issues whatsoever, which makes me happy.

This is my largest indoor plant I've ever had! I'm super happy. I have a lot to do with trimming now. Thanks to canna the whole growing process was quite easy!! It took her three weeks longer than the breeder stated but that's okay considering the low night temperatures and the fact that she only got 12H light.

My Lit Marker plant is really taking off! It's growing so fast, and the leaves are getting bigger every day. They have this cool, pointy shape that reminds me a lot of the Black Valentine plant. It's exciting to see how quickly it's developing, and I can't wait to watch it grow even more. Stay tuned for more updates on this beauty! The weather has been absolutely gorgeous this past week! We've been hitting that sweet spot of 70 degrees during the day, perfect for getting outside and soaking up some sun. Then, it cools down to a comfy 50 degrees at night, which is ideal for sleeping with the windows open. I've been loving all the fresh air! I finally got around to building that little wooden planter for my windowsill. It was a fun project, and now my regular plants have a nice new home. It really brightens up the room, and I'm thinking of adding some herbs to it soon. Maybe I'll even try growing some basil!

Day 36 Moby Dick it's at 28inches in height and Blue amnesia is at 32. and because the smell has become too strong to contain in the tent I turn on the carbon filter fan 24/7 instead of intervals of every 2 hours on for 30 minutes so now my tent it's not so hot and my plans drink less water every 3-days. I will keep updating . day 38 the plants are stretching very fast I'm forced to raise the light everyday the blue amnesia is 39 in tall and the Moby Dick it at 32 inches tall I resumed regular feeding schedules on the plants and they seem to be growing even faster after each watering. Thank you for reading and have a happy grow. Day 42 They continue stretching pretty fast blue amnesia it's at 42 inches and Moby Dick it's at 33 3/4 inches. I only have noticed some lower fan leaves turning yellow and drying up I'm going to stop nutrients for the next one to watering sections because I think I've been pushing the plant too hard but it could be normal I just don't know. I posted two Fan leaf pictures to see if somebody has an idea what it could be but I think is probably too much nutrients I will continue updating thank you for reading happy growing. Day 44 definitely the issue is my fault pushing it too hard. They have nitrogen toxicity they have all the symptoms the claw leaf the weakness of the leave the yellowing and purple color of some branches the Deep shiny green on the leaf. the fact that I've been pushing that pretty hard I already have water them twice with clean water ph 6.0 hoping to use up all the extra in the pot and I will do it one more time from two days from now and then trying new nutrients at 1/3 full strength. .they seem to be responding well but if they start losing to many leafs i well flosh them in the shawer. Day 46 because I saw my plans going downhill pretty quick I decide to test Runner run-off it was incredibly High / 4000 + PPM so yeah to the showers they went until runoff was 1000 or below PH was at 6.2 and for the next watering in 3 days from now approximately depending on temperature and thirst of the plans I will resume flowering nutrients only and maybe only at 600 PPM the plant took a beating as well since I have to remove the scrog net and they were being support only buy it but I had no choice it was to see then die and then start over again or giving a flush so they can recuperate and take it slow for a few days until they can handle more nutrients. My hands end up being very sticky handling the buds even though I did it as gently as humanly possible so they were packed with sticki Racine even though they were stressed out what incredibly robust genetics. Day 48 the plants seems to be bouncing back they lost a lot of fan leaf at the bottom and some of the ones that were turning yellow at the top develop marks . One off the blue amnesia was more affected than the other three plants I will probably hold nutrients for it only for this plant. They stop stretching as much the blue amnesia are measures 44 inches and the Moby Dick is at 40 inch after the flush the buds are getting fatter and bigger every day . thank you for reading and have a happy growing

Fan leaves are are starting to yellow and crisp so I think we're getting pretty close.....my last plant probably wasn't done but I fucked up the cure with mold anyway so.......third times a charm!!!! I'm getting it right this time too much to lose now with how this plant turned out.

Very healthy lush growth. Has throw up a leaf with cal def. So applied a high dose of Cal powder feed, "deeper details in Diet". She's taken to her LST great. Haven't had to adjust. She's making some lovely tight colas. Can't wait till pre is over so I can get in there and open her up. Haven't touched her defol wise, as you shouldn't while in Pre Flower. All the hard graft was done during her prolonged veg. She has just 3 top nodes. And was pult to make her fill out, and I think I've saved this from what it could of been, after I messed around with her. She's a very reliant Pheno as is all GHS gentics. Diet: Short flowering powder is currently been used, "From GHF". 5-550ppm. Also, I noticed a cal def on 2 leafs, "can be seen from 2nd last pic from above at the back" . So, gave her a dose of Calcium Powder from GHF. 270ppm 160ppm/110ppm ambient tap. Also she's been introduced to Terra Powers Bud Starter Fortuna, adds like 50-70ppm to water. PH - Bloom from Advanced Hydroponics is used to level it out to the feed level. I don't adjust my tap, seems to pick up the PH of what it's coming behind so not needed. Also Fire Yields will be used from TP enzyme line along with a few others from their collection. "Bud/Resin/Terp enhancers. Not many. I'll chose 1 of each and make that my primary Enhancer in its class. The days of juggling 14nutes are beyond over. Also, I'll be getting Green Sensation from Plagron with a few others. And whatever can be used in this grow will be used. So upon picking out what I like from there. Next wk, I'll be adding the 25:30 PK BOOSTER from GHF also. Rasing the ppm by another 150ppm to start off with .15G/L. As is the Short Flowering .45grams/L for an extra 450ppm added to your ambient tap ppm No. LST Was finally applied more to this fine lady. I opened her up some. I nearly snapped of the biggest of the nodes. She broke half way deep inearly taking the end of the top of the stem. I tied the node to the stem, securing it in place. I checked on day 77 and she seems to be pushing through it. Wonder what impact it'll have on the bud making process for that side of the plant. I'll go back after pre and open her up with hard defol(s) 15-20% 2-3x over the space of a week. Lights SP 3000 was used for most of this grow. And the IR/UV45 has made for such a quick flip. 5 days is all it took for her to be fully showing pre flower. I started seen a full flip within 3 days. Der Stretch is ist im vollem Gange und den Lady geht es soweit gut ! 2 Der Damen haben ein etwas schlechteres Wachstum,sie wurden etwas mehr aufgebockt um nicht unter zu gehn.Teils wurde ein wenig etwas Untergestellt um das Höhenwachstum den größten Pflanzen anzupassen.Nachdem ich die Pflanzen überprüft habe musste ich leider feststellen das zwei Damen von oben bis unten voller Säcke waren.Diese wurden sofort entfernt ! Bei allen anderen passt alles soweit. 😉
