Coming at you guys with my second grow here. I started late this diary, vegging is boring anyway. These guys should be done within the next week or two. I’ve honestly never smelled anything like the strawberry currently in my tent. I’ve been growing for a while and have been skeptical with the naming choices these breeders make. My last run I grew a strawberry crinkle. It didn’t have the slightest smell of sweetness. This girl is packing some unique Turpines and I can’t wait to try it.

2/20/22 I think I have everything dialed in for the most part. Trying to make sure this living soil is staying wet without water the plants too much. Think I need to up it a little, soil in certain areas is drying out much faster than others due to the light mostly. Lowered my light to 18" I felt deep down, maybe 5-6inches, the soil was dusty dusty dry. I am now actually watering half a gallon to each container around the outside with my garden sprayer. I make sure to get the top inch wet with a mist and then glob some water in there w/o sprayer nozzle 💦💦💦 2/21/22 noticed curling on bottom leaves. Did not change anything 2/22/22 noticing more curling, the beginnings of curling maybe on the second set of leaves 😕? I dropped the fan from speed 5 to speed 2 to hopefully raise the humidity. It's working and is now at a comfortable 57%. Not ideal but much better than 42% for veg 😅 2/23/22 noticing curling on all 4 plants on both the first true leaf sets and second (1 leaf and 3 leaves ea). I moved the light to 24", which is 33% further away and according to my $40 lumen meter, about a 28% reduction in visible light FWIW. Finally put up a little oscillating fan setup on a rudimentary iPad music-stand mount. It's loud as hell, need to look into a quieter fan lol 😆

The flowers have started to swell and increase in size nicely. She's not stretching much, so I guess, these 18cm will be it. She's getting a really shimmery purple colour. I tried capturing it in a video. I removed some of the older leaves to optimize for light and optimized fertilizer for bud size (Hi PLAGRON Alga Bloom!). Give us all your CBD goodness, purple lady!

Germination 07/09/2022 Hi to all the old and new growers out there. Spring has barely started but I'm so AMPED to start again. My first grow attempt was a disaster. I started to early for the season. I wasted some good seeds and those Blasted 🐌 🐌 snails messed up everything. Got up started again and took it as a learning curve. I had 1 seed left from the previous attempt and this had to be the golden ticket. The first important thing I learned was getting to the correct pH. Used a 1 liter jug not knowing that the pH down was very concentrated substance. Added 1ml of pH down to tap water with a base of 8.5+ pH and brought it down all the way to less than 4.5 pH. I probably tried like 5 times and realized that a single drop made a difference of about 2 pH. I got the feel of it and had to source a better water supply. I had the option of using tap water but didn't have the time to do a 24 hour airstone run ever time I wanted to water the plants. The local water supply shop was a better option. I got a consistent 6 pH and the price was decent. The Snail 🐌 Problem... I have a plan for those F**kers. We have 2 very nice hydroponic shops in my city. Week 15 - unstoppable growth! My measuring stick is at its end. It only reaches 180cm and we are above that. It's getting hard to reach and prune the top but I'm not giving up. Temp is stable, humidity at a nice level, lots of sunshine. This summer is really something. But we had a huge storm. Nothing a little tape cant fix. One of the early branches broke off, but my net caught it and with a little tape it's as good as new

Blue Cheese F1 automatic Week 5 2/2-2-8 The Cheese gals are in full flower and are stretching like crazy. At the beginning of the week, they were 7 inches tall, Wed 10 and today 2/7 they are 14 & 15 inches tall. They have doubled in height. I’ve moved the pins out to the edge of the pot. For future training, I must add some wires thru the pot holes to keep the branches lower as the outer rim is taller than the center. I reduced nutrients in the feed solution since Runtz and Pink Rozay are showing some purples/blues in the leaves. These gals are vigorous and don’t seem to mind the full strength feedings. Hopefully they won’t start showing deficiencies. I added Green Sensation this week then read the instructions said add in 4th week flower. Blue Cheese is supposed to be a 10 week flower from seed to harvest. If I wait till the 4th week, it will only be used for 2 maybe 3 weeks. Would that actually benefit the plant. So I think I will add some each time but a 25% strength. Calls for 4ml/g I will use 1ml. They are autos and I should be lowering the nutes anyway. Pinned more branches. I add 2 gallons of water to the T700 humidifier daily to keep the VPD in line. 2/5 4 gal fed 2 liter each nutrients added at ½ of recommended amount. Making 4 gallons since I have 2 pots of carrots and Dill in the back. so... was of to any awesome start to the week topped them and started low stress training but at the end off all of it.... my torque got caught on the wire and she got more of a topping then planned thats for sure!!! ill just let here go for gold now leave her be.. had bad root rot and the only thing i can get in Australia is root stop unless someone knows something better..... i soaked the two dwc in the root stop substance for 4-8 hours... it seems to have lightened the root colours. i decided to cut the one that had root rot bad and cleaned and prepared it to transplant it to coco...
