Week 5 begins for Mandarin dreams and Divine storm. All four ladies look happy and healthy with minor deficiency signs. All four are bulking up and frosty as my windows (it's -21 °c)! On Monday have her last feed last feed. Only 1/8 tsp buildabloom. 2ml slf-100. 😂😂😂 Sorry you hear me sniffling in the background. I must have been crying at the awe of her beauty 😭🤣😂😅 Wed. Ph water and 3ml slf-100 Runoff ph 6.2 ppm 393 Shes ran so good and smooth. Really enjoy Organic. Friday just plain ph water. All she will het till shes done now. Finish line here we come! 💪. Hope she lets it go 2 weeksish lol

6 seeds auto speed bud from seedman. Using peat pellet to germinate and directly buried into 2 gallon fox farms o ocean forest soil. Using RO water. So will need to add cal mag. After a few nodes grow. This is my second grow. First grow a GSC clone. is currently drying in the same tent. Using a iffy method. But the plant had a lot of deficiency’s and was not worth taking care of 100%. Lights were switched back to 18/6 after harvesting the photo.

9/22 - Since all the ladies are now in flower it was time to adjust the temp and humidity in the 4x5 auto tent. I like to keep it at about 80°F & 50% humidity during lights on. With 70°F & 45% humidity during lights off (approximately). To accomplish this, I added a programmable dehumidifier and oscillating tower heater. 9/25 - Top dressed all with Roots Organics Seabird Guano, and Elemental. I also did a 24 hour brew on some compost tea. Fed that to them as well. They are really fattening up now and are covered in frosty trichomes. So far, one of them has a very deep purple while the other three remain a beautiful lavender color. Her smell is very potent. She smells like a grape SweetTart (remember those?).

Things are goin on as they should the girls are getting more bushy than tall which is what I wanted but everything is on cruise control. Only watering when soil is dry and I’m about to start giving them silica on a routine basis in low doses just for added nutrient uptake. How is it growing, my fun(k) loving friends? ***INFO*** For more on my setup, why it was monster cropped, and how I made the canopy, see Germination page and subsequent weeks. They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. A couple more weeks and we will have the final cured and dried weight. More photos and movies will follow, this is where we are so far!! So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! I smoke for medical reasons and it's used for ritual and healing purposes, never to be sold, as it loses its magical properties. Should I have to buy Gelato of this quality at the dispensary that I frequent, it would cost me at least € 15,-- per gram. 246 x 15 = 3690 euros. also, 49 car rides of 25 miles there and back, 250 euros in gas saved. Day 36 - Starting week 6 and she’s coming along nicely. Pistils are just starting to show so hopefully she’s be going into full flower in a week or two. This one is definitely a late bloomer but looking like I’m not gonna need flip to 12-12 to get her started. Day 37 - She’s still doing some stretching right now and has a few more pistils showing so I’m happy about that. She’s definitely getting light on the water so will probably give her a good drink and feeding tomorrow. Tucked a few leaves and letting her go for the night. Day 38 - Decided to hold off on watering and feeding for another day or two. She still didn’t seem quite dry enough to don’t want to push it. Re-tucked some leaves and will check things out tomorrow. Day 39 - Gave her a gallon of water and nutes today and she’s still stretching. Not much of buds forming yet but still tossing a few pistils out. I’m hoping she’s start throwing out some more or I might have to switch to 12-12. I thought I wasn’t going to have to but if she doesn’t start really preflowering by next week, I might have to. Day 40 - Went ahead and turned my second light on in the tent to try and get the temp up just a bit and it did the trick. I think this one is liking the other light cause I noticed quite a bit more pistils so again, I think I’m not gonna have to worry about flipping to 12-12. Tied a couple other branches down and out and opened her up a bit more. Day 41 - She’s looking great and really taking off now. Pistils are still showing and she’s stretching close to a half an inch every 24 hours. I did remove a few fan leaves and all the new branches I tied down are standing tall again. Will give her some water and nutes on Tuesday. Day 42 - The end of week 6 and she’s doing great. Nothing else new to report and just updating some pictures. She’ll get some water and nutes tomorrow.

this strain is very easy to grow.. i do recommend using a carbon filter because she smells really strong when she's flowering

So we started feeding them. just some organic growth by BAC and some Calmag. Mostly around the sides of the pots to encourage the roots and start the Microlife overall. We have used nice lukewarm water and added some sugar sirop to activate all the wee beasties. The growth last week was phenomenal although one is going faster than the other. For this reason I changed them around, should climate on that spot have anything to do with that. Now we are looking at other XL runts diaries, to learn from the best performers and copycat their methods to maximize yields with this setup. We will decide if we will just LST them or give them a top... Have to be quick tho, these ladies will flower soon... From 3 plants, from seed to harvest, one of them took only 74 days, the other two, took another week for 81 days. On their last days I Kept them under 48hrs of light instead of 48 hrs of darkness. Overall I’m happy with this harvest, white widow from fastbuds never disappoints 😉

This was the girls 1st full week of flower. They have done great, lots of stretch, small buds starting to form, and lots of praying 🙏 They have been pretty easy so far, I hit the barrier for these girls with nutrients, burnt the tips a bit , despite that, they have shown no issues. Looking forward to these girls finishing (as always) but they have been lab tested by other home growers who hit 3-4% terpenes, and close to 29% thc

Lots of fattening this week lots of foxtailing too though. Plant smells strong of citrus and I can't wait to try her. Trichs not looking too amber yet but I hear some just dont, so I've pulled a small bit off to try. Watch this space!
