Black Opium - Week Update 🌿 Quick update on Black Opium! Reached unexpected heights with branches exceeding 50cm in length. Running a bit behind her tent mates but now bulking up nicely - the buds are doing excellent work despite inevitable light stress. For an 8L pot she’s absolutely massive! Takes up way more space than expected. Definitely keeping that in mind for the next Black Opium seed - this strain needs serious real estate! En general me encanto cultivar esta genética, siempre fue la primer genética que quise cultivar desde que empecé en esto y no me decepciono en lo absoluto, de una sola semilla obtuve 106 gramos de flores de gran calidad 😃 increíble para ser mi primer cosecha con semillas de bancos, ya quiero ver que resulta en la próxima cosecha ya con más experiencia y mejor equipo 🤩

I harvested four plants today, putting 884 grams of wet flowers into the dry tent. I am trying to keep the environment as close as possible to 60F / 60% RH, but with the current temperatures, I will be lucky to keep it around 65. I am looking forward to the terpenes moving towards the skunky aromas.

Looks great, she's gaining nicely. But could take another 2 weeks before ready. Clones failed, they were already flowering, but was taking them off anyway I'm speculating her to be a 40gr-plant 🤞🤞🤞 Trichomes getting ready, too soon! Starting a few amber trichomes, still little amount, got some time, but will cut her soon, she's not the thickest 😞 could have been a lot worse though. Will have a few weeks extra to the stash 25/11 still mostly white overall same on 26th

Cruising. Kept the nutrients the same as last week as the plants are going a bit slower than advertised by crop king and Sonoma seeds. Looking like flowering will take ~10 weeks when all said and done. Minor amount of defoliation done. Will be the last time to make sure I don’t stunt these autos. And ONLY defoliating. No pruning as I’m too afraid it will stunt the plants. Lots of buds forming now. Plants looking great. Noticed that the sun shines through my windows for several hours and directly onto the plants so I have started opening up the tent everyday and letting the sun shine on them. Helping to ripen the lower buds and have them be less larfy when all said and done. This does cause the plants to drink water like no other so have had to up the volume on fertigations. I’ve been using a LUX meter to check and make sure top colas aren’t getting too much light. The thing works great! Well worth the purchase. My mothers on the other side of the tent are big so need less light and as a result I have been able to move two of their lights in close to the flowering autos. The additional light is definitely helping bulk up the plant. Currently over the two plants there is (as listed) an HLG 135w Rspec, an HLG 100 V2 3000k, an HLG 65 V2 4000k and a Mars Hydro TS600. Tons of light! I’m in isolation as 2 of my housemates got COVID. As a result, I have a LOT of time to spend babying these plants and it is paying off. See you next week!

Alots of leaning ladies this week and not enough garden wire to tie all the ladies up, either way the trichomes are looking great and are right where I like them to be. I only weigh 1 plant wet which was the one I processed for hash, which was around 400 grams trimmed. The remaining 3 ladies have a lot of great big. dense buds. The smell is very similar to a citrus cleaner. After about 10 to 14 days we will have these ladies trimmed up and ready for jars. @DivineSeeds Candy Auto continues to stretch to a total of 44 inches which is 111.76 cm. and has a ton of buds!! I am so excited to see what Miss Candy produces upon harvest. Because we had a cool and rainy week, I didn't have to water at all. Miss Candy Auto got nature's best, rain water. I even included a picture of how much it rained last night in a measuring cup-LOL Origin: Jamaica / Cuba / Canada Type: 80% Indica/ 15% Sativa Flowering: 60 days THC: 19-20% Harvest: 350 - 500 g/m2 Height: 100-120 cm True to its description: My Candy Auto is 111 inches tall. We are in the 2nd week of flowering which means 42 days out of the 60 that Divine seeds says Candy Auto needs. Divine seeds also says miss candy might need an extra 1-2 weeks. Time will tell. What's good growmies! This plant REEKS Even with the air being vented outside trough a carbon filter, the room still has a weak "eau de Stracciatella" I don't have the vocabulary or nose to place the scents like some growers can, all I know is, its f-ing loud and she's only mid flower, I *cannot* wait to smell this baby when she is cured. I'm following Plagron's Feeding Shedule, I posted it a few weeks back, I dropped all organic additives, however, so no Sugar royal, no Pure Zym and sure as f no Power Roots, even though I contacted Plagron and have been told these additives work wonders in Hydro, I just can't, it makes the water black, gunk collects around my roots and pumps, if anyone has any advice or insight as to what I'm doing wrong, please let me know, But my gut is telling me I do not have the money or equipment for Organics, the fact that I'm expected to replace 50 liters of reservoir every 48 hours in and of itself is a massive deterrent. that rant aside, Green Sensation is obviously doing work, however, I noticed my EC rising all the way up to *2.4* this week! which is absolutely no bueno, a couple of fan leaves started showing some burnt tips, Luckily its DWC and a quick adjustment with a few liters of plain Ph'd water immediately stopped that. Why was my EC rising? well the logical answer is Overfeeding! plant is not taking all the food I'm giving her so as the water gets taken up, the nutrients become more concentrated, so to fix that I'm halving my Green sensation dose, DWC kicks ass when it comes to this, there is little guessing, and a lot is measured. and as we all know, what gets measured gets managed. This Diary is on cruise control, I don't think aside from watching those nuggies fatten up, there will be much change in this garden from here on out. I'm starting another Diary soon, Zamnesia send me some Runtz to grow and show the world, which is great because I was planning to grow some legendary Runtz anyway! 😉 got a closet I'll be turning into a Autoflower/Veg tent, get some babies started in there using kratky, then once the time for flower comes, drop em into RDWC Thanks for stopping by this week and observing my baby's development, she's quite a slow finisher, but I'm growing fond of her. Week 13 took my second plant. 30 gram top wet. Will take 3rd plant in a day or 2. 4th plant still week behind but looks more like 2. Plants only drinking ph water @ 1 gallon every 3-4 days.

By the looks of things they seem to have between two and three weeks to go. so from now on no nutrients will be added to the water only water at 6.5 pH the plant has recover great and very well from the nutrient lockout and the buds are getting bigger the smell is strong and very nice. Probably next week I want to defoliant more in order to allow the light to penetrate better in the lower parts of the plant and then get more mature buds in the bottom of the plant. thank you for reading I will continue to update have a happy grow

Buds are taking off , their joining up on the main stems , the plants are around 2.5 ft tall ,the one at the back right has a tolly different growth pattern ,and leaning more on the indica side ,the other two are show their sativa side more , all fattening up , stems too . I'm actually enjoying growing these autos , i will grow them more often now ,Thanks @FastBuds42 ,for great genetics ?💚
