Everything that I will do relevant in the days of this week I will update it here in Week Comment. I am open to advice, I would be happy if you comment with what you would do in my place. - DAY 52 (25/07) FEEDING I thought of irrigating with some Root Juice to give a little help to the roots, because has grown slowly, I don’t know why. I irrigated 2 liter of water with: - 4ml Root Juice Solution PH: range 6.6/6.9 - DAY 54 (27/07) HELP It's been 13 days since I last fed with the PH Perfect trio of Advanced Nutrients. I need your help to figure out how to get back to feeding. From today I will water with more water to make sure that the roots and the soil are better cleaned by letting the water flow out of the pot. (until now no water flowed into the saucer). I uploaded the photos and video with the rust-colored burns on the older leaves that showed up after first feeding with Micro, Grow and Bloom, and they were accentuated after feeding for the second time. Watering with water alone (and citric acid to correct the PH) does not seem to present any problems. I immediately thought it was an excess of potassium, considering that I have fed 2 times with Micro (2-0-0), Grow (1-0-4) and Bloom (1-3-4) 0.5ml each, this NPK ratio should be around 2-1.5-4. I thought about adjusting the doses in order to increase nitrogen to keep it higher than potassium, and lower potassium while still keeping it higher than phosphorus. Could it be a resolution to my problem? I also thought that it could be an excess of calcium present in Micro (it has 2.4% of calcium and 0.1% of magnesium soluble in water) because according to the analysis of my tap water it seems to already have enough calcium (110 mg/l of calcium. 21mg/l of magnesium) and here arises my fear of increasing the dose of Micro to increase nitrogen and continually encounter excess calcium. Can anyone enlighten me? - DAY 55 (28/07) SLIGHT DEFOLIATION I made a slight defoliation at the bottom. To be precise I removed 2 medium-small leaves and I removed the two smaller popcorn sprigs at the bottom of everything. I sprayed the usual mix of neem oil. (neem oil, water, potassium soap and lemon juice) - DAY 56 (29/07) LST We are at the end of the week. I performed 4-way style LST. Day/night air temperature on average for this week: Day 31-33 °C. Hello growmies! Welcome to week seven of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! I have just completed the final defoliation for the three least advanced (and largest) girls. I have also rearranged the tent again to try to maximize the space available and light usage. I have not fertigated for 5 days after the last fertigation was a flush without coco base. I am struggling with humidity at the moment so I have been trying to let the plants go more dry than usual. Daily Updates ### Week 7 Day 2 02:30 7/8 Heavily defoliated plants 1, 5 & 6 and removed some of the lower branches. Rearranged tent then photographed & measured: Plant 1 is now almost unbelievably 2nd tallest at "only" 141cm in height! Her stretch has just about ended. Plant 2 has stopped stretching at 111cm and is 2nd most advanced into flower. Plant 3 has stopped stretching at 95cm and is most advanced into flower. Plant 4 has stopped stretching at 100cm and is 3rd most advanced into flower. Plant 5 has gained 6cm this week and may add few more but she is pretty close to done stretching at 119cm. Plant 6 has gained 22cm this week and isn't quite finished. She is now the tallest plant in the series at 142cm. ### Week 7 Day 2 07:00 7/8 Fertigated 1.6l each ### Week 7 Day 4 02:00 9/8 Fertigated 1.6l each reduced coco a/b to 2m/l each. Spent a bit more time photographing and videoing to try and capture the changes and the developmental differences. These 140cm+ plants are going to STACK. I am bracing myself for a lot of trimming and a monster harvest. 🙏 The current order of maturity and likely order of harvest is 3 2 4 1 5 6. Plant 3 is absolutely stacking now, she's more or less run out of space around her cola and is now growing some foxtail like structures, exciting! Plant 6 the least mature is 2-3 weeks behind plant 3, but her stretch has finally stopped at 144cm. Took wide angle in tent photos today. Day 49 update (Sunday 7/14/19): Almost time to chop! I think my humidity is finally going to be manageable for the drying- the second dehumidifier helped enough it seems. I cut out the base nutes (which for a few days were at quarter strength). I decided to stop with sugaree. No more cal/mag - I guess I should have cut that out weeks ago even in coco? So many different trains of thought. So I’ve now been flushing for a couple days using only water and canna boost and cannazyme along with mammoth p and hydroguard (ppm is at 200). I’m not PH correcting the reservoir tank and it’s up to 6.9/7.0 ph (I actually added a tiny bit of ph down before I decided to not worry about it) - I’m not sure if I like this strategy (seems to be an unsettled debate about ph correcting during final flush) I’ll switch to FloraKleen and water only (and still not ph corrected) for the last few days (in a few days or so - maybe a bit longer) THOUGHTS ANYONE?? I went to bed last night looking at pictures of bud rot and when I woke up I was convinced I had some. I actually chopped my first bud off the plants! one of my possible mold suspects (and one of the largest). Manhandled it - dug around - (I did use gloves and I did sorta try to be careful but...) I probably lost and damaged a bazillion trichomes - but.... it’s fine! No mold/bud rot at all. Beautiful actually. Some of the little fan leaves just turned prematurely yellow awhile ago and some extra areas of red hairs that concerned me but It’s great! Super stinky. Super nice. Dense. Pretty. I’m hanging that one nice big bud in the flower tent above the lights and in the corner away from a direct fan breeze (this is not at all ideal - the main harvest will be done in darkness; with no other humid plants in the tent; with proper air flow; lower temps; and they’ll have had a full flush unlike this nice cola I chopped with its “partial” flush only (see above) . It’ll be nice to experiment with taste before and after a flush since there seems to be so much debate about this. But I suppose my dry will differ too so not a very controlled test. This bud seems to be plenty mature and ripened - some amber trichomes - so I think this one bud chop may turn out to be a nice experiment caused by my neurosis about non existent bud rot) Woot.

Well Well Well, So much to say, so little time to say it. Fist things first: we are now in a 8 x 8, which is a landmark upgrade in my path to learning all I can about cannabis. Larger growing space allows you to work freely, comfortably even. It was about time and long overdue. Within 48 hours from being moved to the 8x8 each and every plant started to grow exponentially: I must admit, I think this tangy was a goner. I didn't touch her and fed her normally with little more run off. She surprised me when I saw her getting twice bigger in a week. I think we are gearing up to flower at this stage, so I will give her as much room and light as she can get. I am heavily into LST as I plan to maximise all those potential bud sites. She is showing vigor and will likely surprise us all. Unlike all previous times with tangy, I am not detecting any terms or lemolene from the stems as of yet. Now bathed in light by on all angles and with room to explode, I look forward to she how she does
