Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. This plant is growing well, I transplanted them this week into 3 gallon pots from 1 gallon pots. Structure on this plant is pretty nice and visually pleasing to the eye lol.

The first seed didn't make it :( so this is the 2nd attempt, with Seedsman critical+ 2.0 😎

Girls are loving the light! I was bit worried with the smaller gal and leaves pointing up, but with no sign of light-stress or anything else negative I've taken it as a good sign and they are just thriving so yesssss! I'm prone to want to defoliate as I'm use to growing in a much smaller environment (5 gal bucket lol) but I've been good and have only snipped a handful of leaves that were either blocking other bud-sites or restricting airflow. I cannot wait to see what this harvest brings in, I'm hoping for 3-3.5 oz (85-99grams). Now that they are flowering nicely I'm no longer using Gro, just Micro+Bloom with some calmag and silicate. I am so excited to grow this Mexican Airlines from @420fast_buds. She is About twelve days out of The Dirt and is doing excellent. But I wouldn't expect anything less from the peeps at @fast_buds. Day 36: "Hey everyone! Just a quick update: I removed a few more leaves here and there and did one last round of LST (low stress training). 🌿 The plants are looking great, and I'm going to let them recover now before sending them into the flowering stage. I'm really excited to see them start blooming in 2-3 weeks! Also, a quick update on our temperature issue: today, the temperature stayed below 26.8°C, which is great news! However, we still need to find a solution to keep the humidity levels up. Our 360 m³/h exhaust system isn't able to maintain the required humidity level. I've calculated that we need a humidifier that can evaporate 1800ml/h to maintain 60-70% humidity, which would help manage the temperature better. Does anyone have tips for a good humidifier or other methods to control the humidity and temperature? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Day 37: Hey everyone! Tomorrow, we're planning to buy some Cal-Mag because we suspect the yellowing leaves might be due to a calcium-magnesium deficiency. We're also going to get a pH test kit to make sure everything is balanced properly. Do you think this is a good idea? Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Day 38: Hey everyone! Quick update: it turns out the yellowing leaves were due to a nitrogen deficiency. We increased the fertilizer dosage today, so the plants should start looking better in 4 to 5 days. 🌿 Thanks for all the support and suggestions Day 39: Hey everyone! Another quick update: after increasing the fertilizer yesterday to address the nitrogen deficiency, it should take about 4 to 5 days for the yellow leaves to turn green again. 🌿 We're already seeing improvements! The plants have grown significantly and are developing a dense canopy once more. It's great to see them bouncing back so quickly! Day 41: "Hey everyone! Quick update: we've removed the bands we were using for LST (low stress training) and are now letting the plants grow freely. 🌿 We plan to keep them in the vegetative phase for about one more week before transitioning them to the flowering phase. Excited to see how they continue to develop!"

Me encanto esta semana, gran avance en las 2 Gorilla Rainbow y gran avance tmb en las 2 White Gorilla. BSF Seeds sin duda está haciendo un gran trabajo… Se les hizo más podas apicales y defoliación, y reaccionaron perfecto. Overall this plant was great to grow, she just grew and was happy doing it the entire time, pretty good yield off a plant that was only about 12inches tall. Seemed to be a lot more resistant to deficiencies then the other two strains this grow. Definitely a great mid-day Smoke!

Erntezeit! Getrocknet wurde 9 Tage bei ~55% Luftfeuchtigkeit und 20 grad. Trocken getrimmt. Alle Popcorn nugs und Verschnitt zu Hash weiterverarbeitet.

Well she is going to be going through selective defoliation for the next two weeks and she is definitely entering flower stage and the growth is amazing I have done molasses water watering last week and I will start my molasses watering on a weekly basis and every other water will be with molasses this week they’re also going to get a compost tea with worm castings in the Tea.

_____ Week 13 | Day 85 - 91 | 6th week of Flower ______ Day 87🌞💧 Three days are over again and the plants are hungry again. 3 liter each Plant, small drain. Day 88🌞 What can I say this week went by quickly because of Christmas and New Year... I looked less into the tent. The trichomes of all plants are developing very well. They were fed Overdrive for the first time. Amnesia: The buds are slowly becoming more voluminous and quite sticky. Slowly the typical Amnesia smell spreads in the tent. Biscotti: Look very tasty and frosty. Development of the trichomes is very good, the buds swell. Lemon Power Haze: All 3 plants look different. LPH#1 is the smallest in terms of bud size, I think it will take longer than the 8 weeks. The trichomes of LPH#3 are very pronounced and the most beautiful of all 3 plants. Day 90 🌞💧 3 liter each Plant, small drain.

Hi Guys:) Today is the update of the Sour Diesel 🌱. It looks very healthy and vital 👌. It has grown very nicely this week. Tomorrow there will be a few more pictures, because unfortunately I only came to the videos today. It's a hell of a lot of work that comes with growing and still working in everyday life 😅. 14.09.21.Банане 2 недели, развитие сумасшедшее. Опрыскиваю по листу на ночь динамиксом.русские производители обещают эффект мегафола, а он мне понравился. Так как цена демократичная, я решил попробовать этого производителя. Также купил стимулятор для корней, аналог радифарм. Ок. Девчонке нравится. Лист выглядит здоровым, сочныма корневая мне не видна😁, но вершки хороши, значит и корешки в норме. Пересадили в 16 л airpot в 12 дней. Полет продолжается. Буду добавлять мысли в течение недели. Всем растафарай! 15.09.21 сегодня начались тренировки у девчонки. К lst я отношусь всегда творчески и с азартом. Каждое растение как и человек - уникально, тренировки интересны возможностью применять весь потенциал своей фантазии на 100%. За это растения благодарят нас большими урожаями и эстетической красотой. 17.09.21 Банана растёт и пухнет. Дал корневой стимулятор рутфарм. 2мл/л. Со вчерашнего дня у нас похолодание до +10 днем и +3 ночью, поэтому решено было включить днат 400, так как мой бокс расположен на балконе. Ещё немного подогнул ствол и убрал листья от боковых побегов. Полет продолжается, спасибо за ваше внимание, гровер!)) 19.09.21. Немного растянуд девчонку сегодня днем, растёт не плохо, но видно, что после пересадки переключилась на корни. Поливаю через день, полет продолжается! Hi guys, thanks for stopping by here.. Smell awesome for this two leady, not ultra resinous but very very sticky... I love the structure of the buds😍.. Now they are at day 54 from 12/12.. Only water.. The bigger one I think it's fine for harwest in the next five/seven days.. The "smallest" one in seven or more few days.. Can't wait to dry cure and smell the aroma come out from the jair ..and also vape too and get super stone😎🤣.. See you next week... Harwest day..
