Day 63 Flower (Day 105) I'm back! Iceland was breathtakingly beautiful as usual, and I even managed to see an active volcano. Amazing! I have good news and bad news regarding my girls. The good news is that they are both still alive and are overall looking pretty good. The bad news for the left girl is that the cheap irrigation system failed and only watered around 1 liter of water during the entire week. She was extremely thirsty, although still looking pretty good without any drooping. A couple of her leaves turned purple from the stress, though. I recorded a video just as I opened the tent for the first time after coming back a couple of hours ago. The news is worse for the right girl, though. The irrigation system worked flawlessly, so that wasn't the problem. Instead, I detected bud rot in three buds, and of course, it was in the three most significant colas. Fuuuuuuuu... I also shot a video as I opened the tent, and the affected buds are visible if you are paying attention. I have never had bud rot before, so I will need to do additional research on what to do next. I immediately cut off the affected buds and disposed of them outside. I hope I got all the affected areas, but I will inspect all the buds more closely tomorrow. Been traveling most of the day today and need some rest before scouting her buds. I looked at her trichomes quickly and still couldn't see much amber, but I will have a better look tomorrow. The worms have been busy while gone, though, and they were crawling all over when I lifted the old avocados. They aren't the only ones who have been busy as the fungus gnats are back, Sigh. Only a few so far, but yeah, another thing to sort out. The fun just never ends...

He who stops is lost, as an old saying goes I don't know exactly what the origins are, so here's a new Zamnesia season. We are in the middle of winter and despite growing in an area that isn't the warmest in Europe, it's really cold now. It's 16-18 degrees Celsius in the house and we need to bring the temperature of the propagator growbox between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius. So we first placed a layer of those 1 cm thick "rubberized" floors that are used for gyms, they are easily found on Amazon and are very useful for insulation. Then a heated resistance mat and then the closed propagator on top. Inside with our seedlings and the light on at minimum 20% we reached 24 degrees, not bad in fact the germination is proceeding very well. 100% opening of the seeds in water and almost all of them are opening in our biodegradable peat pots. ----- Our Rainbow Sherbet has a beautiful package of seeds, colorful that really makes you want to grow it. The genetic conditions are all there and at birth everything went smoothly like hemp oil. If you have placenta problems read below. It is an indica predominance if it does well we will send it to the AWC competition and see what happens. WARNING: Placenta Problems ---- ALWAYS look very carefully at the seedlings, if the seed or the placenta prevent the opening of the cotyledon leaves the plant dies after a while. Remove it delicately as if it were a condom or almost. I apologize for the example but it gives the idea to remove slowly delicately please. So at this time i will be running 2 tents. Ohh, this week and the end of week 3 was rought... I ran into a gnats problem in week 3, read more there. The way I "solved" my problem was a huge mistake, creating bigger problems. Gravel I put on top of soil kept moisture inside the pots, so I manage to over water my plants. NEVER PUT GRAVEL ON TOP OF YOUR SOIL! 🤦‍♂️ NEVER 😂 Big shoutout to guys who answered my question in week 3! Thanks for your help and support! So I remove all gravel and let all pots to dry completly before next watering. They bounced back very fast. Also I did LST training on them and manage to break up that one girl which had biggest over watering issues. Shit happens I guess... Btw its one of Amnesia strains. 7/9: The Twins are growing well. Runt Danny is just a regular plant now but still a runt compared to the perfect twin Arnold on the right. Still waiting until 3rd week of July to flip to flower so my upcoming trip doesn't interfere with watching over it or coming back to a timer malfunction etc. Still going light on the Advanced Nutes. All new growth since the switch to the PH Perfect system is burn free compared to the old. Only problem is still a bit of PH flux when the pots dry out between feedings but it's only spotting on 1-2 leaves per plant, overall they seem to be getting used to it now. Another reason why I postponed the flip to flower. I'm a bit on the nervous side but very excited for flip just for the sheer stretch and size these things are supposed to get. 👆

end week 8. ------------ this week only water from all Gorillas the buds look very sticky and frosty. when I open the tent, it smells very strong. The 1 and 2 smelled pretty strong, chemically, the 3. more like citrus. I will harvest Gorilla 1 20.10. Gorilla 2 22.10 Gorilla 3 23.10 I made videos and pictures of the trichomes.
