I've cut down on grow at this point as the soil seems to have a lot. I'll feed for another week then think about Flushing. The kalimist will keep getting fed bloom and grow as its only been flowering for about 3 weeks due to taking longer to force flower.

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. I harvest these shiny buds 2 days ago. She ended in 109 days of life of that 59 in flowering. she grew with dark green leaves and tighten buds, I am pretty happy with the result. the smell is full of fruit and incense will update harvest again when buds gonna be dry

I switch 12/12 at day 17, I irrigated one time with 3ml/l of root juice in 0.4l of corrected ph water. Sometimes Strawberry Lemonade rotates some leaves, I don't understand why.

I added a second light yesterday. I’m not sure if it’s overkill and if it’ll work well with the other one. They are both VIVOSUN 300w LEDs, the one I already had has a veg and bloom switch, but the new one doesn’t. But hey it was cheap on Black Friday for $63. But having the new one in there quickly increased the heat in there from 75 to 85. I’m waiting for an oscillating fan to throw in there also which will help. Any advice on the light situation? More light spectrum the better? Update: did my first LsT on all three girls on 12/1. Within 3 hours all the leaves were facing the lights again I was impressed

GS is very frosty. Rest need extra week im sure especially SS but it smells the best.

I didnt pay much attention which plant turned out to be which, so I'm not too sure which plant is depicted on the pictures. They were all harvested within one week of one another. In total including hash, it was about 1.8 kilo dry weed on the scales:) They all tasted differently, but they were all very very tasty. Some were really earthy, others were fruity. Absolutely loved this grow.

AHHHHHHHHH STOP STRETCHING!!!! I had something similar a few runs ago but I thought it was becuase of high temps. I did not find them to be as high this time and still they stretched a very large amount!! All the ladies in the tent, the GG was actually the lady to stretch the least and shes still very tall compared to previous runs. I did my best to trim them right up and light to most of the nodes but this is absolutely not an idea canopy. I had it so nice and under control then it just went wild in there right quick. Ill do my best to get some nice flowers but I would like to know exactly why the whole tent stretch so much?!?!?!?! 😡 aside from that though the lady looks very healthy lol

I can see why this strain won an award, these are some good genetics. I have never grown cannabis until now and the yield was much larger than I expected for my first grow ever, exactly 50.8 grams from a single plant in a 5 gallon fabric pot. I started low stress training at three weeks and was able to get around 9 decent sized tops with minimal daily maintenance. The quality of the bud was resinous, semi dense, with many thick trichomes and large cloudy heads which made the potency quite strong. The buds formed in intriguing sticky stacks with many pistils, buds erupted from all sides and the color was a very dark purple covered with dark orange pistils, I enjoyed simply looking at its amazing structure. The scent was very pungent and sweet berry and almost soda like. The effects were indica and sativa hybrid with a dominant indica effect. It had a very relaxing effect with a strong head high and a calming couch lock effect which I enjoyed. Overall it was a fun experience to watch the plant grow and then harvest and indulge in its dankness, I will definitely be growing another fast-buds seed soon and the quality of the buds inspired my friend to grow some gorilla cookies :).

Week 9 light schedule switched to 12/12 and bio-bloom & top-max were added to the feed but unfortunately some leaves turned pale yellow and some strange marks appeared. We re going to flush in the next week to make sure feeding can be safely applied again. Autoflower plant going no problem and should be harvested soon. Smell is intense orange with undertones of pine.

Day 56: Nothing special this week other then I found out another reason for the stretching of the plants. I don't know where i was of what i was doing but suddenly it came into my mind. Well normaly i use seperate veg and flower basic nutrients. This time, I used a new basic nutrient i never used before. This basic nutrient has veg and flower nutrients for the whole cycle. So the growth of the plants has been stimulating for to long. This is fun when you grow huge plants for a long time, not if you plan to only veg for 3-4 weeks, 1-2 weeks preflower with maybe 6 to 9 weeks of flowering.

Halfway through week 7. Couple pictures from Tuesday. Gonna upload more when I get back home to her. Can’t raise the lights anymore. Hoping she is done stretching. She takes up every bit of that 4x5 box. Couldn’t be happier with this grow so far. I think next time I’ll go down to 5 gal smart pots this way I can pump out two of them. Still in disbelief she has grown this fast and started budding that fast as well!! I’m feeding her 2 gallons every 2 or so days. She is a very thirsty girl and let’s me know when she is hungry too (leaves curl down). I’ve been slowly defoliating the bottom of her. I cut a couple under grown budds from underneath as well. Not sure how she’d respond if I went scissor happy. I also can’t say enough about Advanced Nutrients. Since I made the switch I can tell her leaves are always praying up and overall health seems through the roof! She really is a monster. 31 inches wide by 36 inches tall. She is stacking nicely. Did my best with pictures. Can’t tell if the flash on the phone helps or hurts the pictures. End of the week- She is doing awesome. Blowing up pretty fast and there is a serious citrus pine smell coming off her when you bump into a budd or it wipes on your finger. For the most part it seems as if she is loving life!!

November 2nd marked another week of flower with "Pepper". She is a beautiful plant of jewel tones of greens, glistening under the frosty coating. We're getting close to the end. November 3, 2021, Wednesday. Nothing new to report. November 4, 2021, Thursday. Watered thoroughly. Her calyxes are swelling before my eyes, it's such a beautiful site. November 5, 2021, Friday. She's such a lovely site with buds just swelling by the minute. I believe she'll be ready to harvest sooner than I think. November 6, 2021, Saturday. Nothing new to report. November 7, 2021, Sunday. Day of rest.
