Day 104 - Final harvest taken place after I noticed a sprinkling of amber trichomes over most of her flowers. I will update this diary in a week or so with dry weights. I did not bother to weigh it wet. Upper buds seem nice and dense.

6/24 this may be the last week. The screen recordings are of both plants (purple octane and rs11) they're both close. I also went back and did some math and the last week of veg, should've been first week of flower. I may let her go for 10 weeks. We will see how she looks throughout this week(trichs) 6/25 looking super close. All cloudy besides maybe 10% 6/29 will get in there with a microscope again. just waiting on her to ripen. can't tell if she's done, or at rhat point where she looks so good that she's done but then that last week the plant explodes. well see and yall will definitely hear about it.

Working on getting these girls a bit bushier to fill up the pots a bit more before bloom. Tried to top them both the same, but one grew two new stems (as expected) and the other grew 4... No idea what I did?

This week was huge. They drank down like 40L of water this week. They have been upping PH all week, I am at the point where I need to check it daily to keep it in range. I also began significant LST training on these plants this week. I used an entire pack of LST clips, which work awesome, but i need more than 5 per plant (Pack of 30). I hurt a few of them when bending them this week, but they recovered so fast, I had a hard time tell the next day which branch i had broken. I upped the Silicate they were getting, and it made a difference. They were soft and bendy..to the point just bending a stem was enough to keep it in place, now they are firm enough to require clips. I removed about 30% of foliage per plant, it was more than I wanted to, but it was legit necessary. These guys are 💥💥boomin,💥💥 I can't believe they are only 5 weeks old. I had grown a batch of 4 seeds (of the same strain) in a soil configuration, and they grew for about 16 weeks and were about this size at week 10. 21/08/2023 I decided to trim the yellow tips on the large leaves because some rather concerning black spots were starting to appear on those yellow areas. I also trimmed the small yellowed leaves (even though they didn't seem to have these black dots) I am very pleased with the outcome of #3, I will now always use LST for my future grows and not ScrOG as I said last week. I don't expect to end up with huge buds due to the lack of fertilizer, which is why I plan to use Root Juice, BioGrow, BioBloom, TopMax, and BioHeaven from BioBizz in my next grow. I will also need an oscillating fan, having to move it around to prevent some burns on the leaves is quite annoying. I would like to find one smaller than 15CM, but I don't think it's possible. The only ones in this case are battery-operated and not oscillating. I don't know why the buds of #2 have such long hairs. 25/08/2023 I received my magnifying glass, it's not meant to be put on a phone, but I still managed to take these photos at x60 magnification (I have a x90 magnifying glass, but it's impossible to take good photos with it). You don't see much in some photos at x60 magnification, but like everything else, I will improve over the weeks.

4/7 Day 31 (AM) - Things have been going relatively well over the last several days, with the exception of the one plant that has been unhappy throughout the grow. I did some light pruning to remove brown/dying fan leaves from the struggling plant but have otherwise been focused on tucking leaves under future bud sites, and keeping an eye on the two that were topped late in week 4, both of which are sending out new shoots. All seem to want nutrients now. I've been very light-handed with the nutrients but started giving them small amounts at least every other watering. At week five it feels like a lot of things are on autopilot now, just normal maintenance like topping off the humidifier and occasionally poking my head in to check on things. Glad I didn't abandon the sickly plant. New growth looks healthy, and it just might pull through. Update (4/8- Day 32 AM): Feeding was very well received by all plants. It's taking some getting used to. I tend to use very little in the way of fertilizer (have read too many horror stories). Still, these guys are showing signs of being hungry on a regular basis, and their daily uptake of water is considerably more than when I started. For the time being, I have been using about 50% of the recommended amount of FF Grow Big, close to a normal recommended amount of CalMag, and about 50% of the recommended amount of P-K (due to deficiencies noted in some leaf margins). I've been testing the runoff and it's coming out between 6.5-6.6 consistently. No signs of drooping or overwatering. Right now, they appear to be happy if watered about every other day, and they're taking on about 1/2 gallon each pretty consistently. Next time I'll probably use nothing but pH adjusted water, just to avoid nutrient build-up.

18cm vertical growth this week. She's growing well. Not much else to report.

I still think this plant is undersized. Leaves dying off now. Watering with tap water now as I've learnt my lesson - too much nutrients!
