Welcome back, my fellow green-thumbed enthusiasts, to another captivating chapter in the awe-inspiring journey of my magnificent Purple Lemonade FF! Today, we embark upon Week 9 from seed, which also marks the beginning of Week 2 in the enchanting realm of flower. Prepare yourselves for a tale of continued rapid growth, delightful flower development, and a harmony of environmental conditions that would make even the most discerning botanist proud. Let me paint you a picture of our wondrous purple beauty as she continues to flourish. Oh, how she has grown since our last encounter! Her branches have become a mesmerizing tapestry of green, weaving together a spectacle of bud sites that dance under the gentle sway of the grow lights. We were wise to provide her with the second scrog layer, for now, she stands as a botanical titan, confidently supported and reaching for the heavens with undeniable determination. In our last chapter, we dared to defoliate, revealing the hidden potential within our plant. Well, my dear companions, I'm pleased to report that our daring move paid off splendidly! The improved light penetration and enhanced air circulation have invigorated our Purple Lemonade FF like never before. Her leaves stretch out like sun-hungry fingers, eagerly soaking in every photon that the grow lights generously bestow upon her. Now, let's talk VPD—Vapor Pressure Deficit—for those unfamiliar with the term. Picture this: our beloved plant has her very own atmospheric dance, a delicate balance between the humidity in the air and the temperature in her environment. Think of it as a dance floor—when the humidity and temperature are in perfect harmony, our plant is at her happiest, thriving and boogying in flower bliss. And guess what? Our VPD is a delightful 1.09 kPa, meaning the conditions in our grow space are ideal for our green diva to strut her stuff! As our Purple Lemonade FF enters the second week of flower, her buds start to show off their flawless form. Each one is a tiny work of art, and together, they create a symphony of colors and aromas that tantalize the senses. The stage is set, and the audience eagerly anticipates the grand performance of flower, where the once-dormant calyxes now transform into beautiful blossoms, shimmering with trichomes and bursting with resinous delights. Of course, let us not forget our unsung heroes—the nematodes, Spical Ulti Mite, and Swirskii. These valiant defenders continue their unseen battles, ensuring that potential pests remain at bay, and our precious Purple Lemonade FF can blossom without worry. Fellow cultivators, I invite you to revel in the extraordinary growth and the magical transformation of our Purple Lemonade FF. As she enters the second week of flower, our anticipation grows alongside her buds. Together, we celebrate the power of defoliation, the wonders of VPD, and the sheer beauty of nature's grand design. As always, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for joining me on this enthralling journey. https://lumatek-lighting.com/ <3 <3 <3 Growers love to you all <3 <3 <3 " Arising from a cross between purple and citrus Cali genetics, Purple Lemonade FF (Fastflowering) offers a complex high made up of perfectly balanced cerebral and body effects that are ideal for daytime use. Expect an extremely enjoyable high that boosts your mood while deeply relaxing your whole body and getting rid of muscle pain. This meticulous cross produces up to 550 g/m2 of some of the most beautiful purple buds, with pinkish and reddish hues that will catch everyone’s attention. The beautiful purple buds are ready for harvest in 7-8 weeks and come hand-in-hand with unbelievably sugary citrus terps that are just as refreshing as a cold lemonade on a hot Summer day. It’s the ideal variety for the sweet-tooth stoner seeking strains that deliver both in quality and quantity of resin. Bud Description Purple Lemonade FF grows chunky, spade-shaped buds that boast a whole range of pinkish-purple hues with rich, dark orange pistils shooting out of every direction. This variety stands out for the, oftentimes, lilac trichomes that give them a gorgeous pink tint and make for outstanding purple concentrates. The buds give off a delicious tart lemon aroma that reveals a sweeter, more fruity scent as you break the buds open. Definitely a must for flavor chasers and those looking for pungent terpene profiles. Smoke Reports Purple Lemonade FF offers an effect that’s just as unique as the flavor. Expect a potent uplifting high that gives you that energy boost you need to get things done while 100% happy and stress-free. The effect gradually transforms into a wave that works its way along the limbs and through the muscles, deeply relaxing your body and putting you in the right mindset to go through a busy day with a huge smile on your face. This is an excellent all-day smoke as it not only increases energy but can also help combat chronic pain, migraine and stress. Plant Appearance This feminized photoperiod variety develops a thick and strong structure, growing a medium-sized main cola with multiple shorter side branches, typical of hybrid strains. Purple Lemonade FF develops fairly short internodal spacing with gorgeous purple buds growing stacked on top of each other, making it the perfect choice for growers of all levels looking to get lots and lots of top-shelf purple weed, as this variety can produce up to 550 g/m2 in a 7-8 week flower cycle. Grow Tips This is a super fast feminized photoperiod version that takes approximately 7-8 weeks to flower with a 5-week vegetation cycle,, this means you can have faster harvests by shortening the veg cycle or have a longer veg cycle for bigger yields. Purple Lemonade FF (Fastflowering) makes for a great candidate for growers of all levels as it’s a vigorous strain that will thrive with basic maintenance both indoors and outdoors. This is a resin powerhouse so make sure to have your trim bin close by as all the resinous sugar leaves will make for the most mouth-watering hash and extracts. Flavor Expect a long-lasting citrus zest that taste just like it smells. Purple Lemonade FF reeks of a delicious blend of sweet fruits and tart citrus that’ll make your mouth water. On the inhale, expect sour flavors that taste just like lemon candy with hints of orange and a really subtle earthy background. And on the exhale, the citrus flavors open up, giving place to a more sugary berry fruitiness that leaves your whole mouth tasting like an extremely sweet weed-infused lemonade.

Wow this week has been a super bulking week. Buds are huge and dense when you squeeze between thumb and forefinger there’s no give at all. Very sticky lives up to the GG name. Smell is very strong earthy and almost a diesel undertone.

Day 64 - June 5 June 5 - 09.45AM Swelling continues, Pistils are beginning to shake, with some vibrant orange. The end is maybe 10 days away. Senescence continues with minor purple hue starting. June 5 - 09.45AM Once AC is fixed I will push this further. June 5 - 09.45AM Temperature at 79F. June 5 - 03.45PM AC temporarily fixed. Day temps and night temps will be cooler. June 5 - 08.25PM Temps back down to sub-75F. Trichomes are still clear! June 6 - 04.20PM Day Temps under 75F. Trichomes still clear. June 6 - 04.20PM I regret removing 3 3-finger leaves beneath canopy, this was done to promote more airflow below, but with harvest being so near, it was likely unnecessary stress. June 7 - 08.00AM Watered approximately 5.5L. Humidity has spiked as a result, perhaps I should add a dehumidfier straight after watering. Keeping temps closer to 70F to try and kick start senescence. June 8 - 09.30AM Morning temp at 70F, night temp likely 65F (not confirmed) - I suspect the tent will get no hotter than 74F today. Trichomes still clear, with some cloudyness appearing. June 9 - 09.30AM Trichomes are clear, some heads are half clear, half cloudy. June 10 - 09.30AM Removed wilted leaf, still lots of clear trichomes. June 10 - 05.10PM Soil is cold, likely due to the lower temperature. Weight of pot is still a little heavy, I'll water approximately 6L before lights out tonight. (Day 70) June 11 - 08.30AM Watered 5.5L to runoff, towel collecting droplets under roller. Was too tired to water yesterday. Time taken to saturate soil was roughly 1 hour.

Fed with the above nutrients regiment. ▶️ Monday - 02.22.21 / Decided to change out the trellis net, the black one is great for support but not so much for creating an actual SCROG. ▶️ Tuesday - 02.23.21 / ok decided to go ahead and flip into flower, the new time will take effect tomorrow morning, the trellis is a little low, but think I can manage this, will be adding a second support trellis as soon as I see how these ladies perform, they are supposed to be heavy producers! ▶️ Wednesday - 02.24.21 / Fed with Advanced Nutrients, plants are starting to fill in trellis nicely! ▶️ Thursday - 02.25.21 / Fed with Advanced Nutrients, adjusted plants, and evened canopy up. 🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹 📜 Cultivar Information - We have created this strain by crossing the best Black Domina available with Very Berry and our own Lost Coast OG Kush, this plant produces large colas with a super intense sweet berry flavor with a sweet-smelling aroma that varies from fruit and berries to sweet candy. This lady offers tight internal stacking giving a perfect structure for those super heavy colas, which is perfect for growth both indoors and out, if grown outside she is fairly resistant to mold and powdery mildew which is a real bonus with such large colas. 🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹

5.23 F60 5.27 F65 - Everything has been going well this week. The plants went through a feed cycle that should carry them through flower no problemo. Started with the AACT Tea, then a bokashi drench with Fish Shit from Fishheadfarms and plain water from here on out. They are drinking quite a bit. 1.5-2 gallons a plant every 3ish days. The terps in my tents smell out of this world. The ScrOG and 3x3 are like a candy store. Passion Berry has mango/guava citrus terps while Deadstar v2 has strawberry watermelon terps. The 4x5 is much more varied, but in general the sweet pink dominates with it's grape candy terps and the dread bread cuts through with it stanky gassy lemon while the prayer pupil smells like moth balls and a bit of GMO. Very lucky to get to experience this much variety. 5.29 F67

420Fastbuds FBT2312/Week 3 What up grow fam. Weekly update for these stunning girls. Up to this point they've been growing picture perfect . Not really doing anything special besides still feeding nutes every other watering 500ml. I'll double the feed this week taking it to 1000ml/1 liter per every other day. Not seeing any burn signs from introducing nutes so will keep that the same strength. All in all Happy Growing

7/24/23 - Day 42 - Ok, so where to start? I'm going to go over the last couple days of issues/troubleshooting. We had an issue with the lights not coming on for a whole day/night cycle. That was a couple of days ago, and everything seems okay since then. I had some Canoeing/tacoing on the leaves once the lights were back on. I think I had the PH too low, 5.8. In flower, I should start moving it up the scale. Once I corrected the PH to 6.2, the canoeing/tacoing in the leaves seemed to be gone/almost gone. I'm REALLY worried about the height of the plant. She is only 12 in. from the light that I cannot move. I added a second scrogg net???? I don't know if that's done a lot, but I'm going to try and stop if from growing straight up. I think the best I can do is give it a lean. So Ill call this the ScoggGL (GangstaLean). You'll see some pictures up top as I start the ScoggGL I did the first big trim and pulled a 3-gallon bucket of fan leaves out. I cut off a few side branches I didn't want the plant to waste energy on. I trimmed so many leaves off it was crazy. The smells have been awesome! You all know the smell of the fresh plant stems and leaves as you trim and rub across them. It's one of my favorite smells, which is in full effect. I noticed that I have some pistils growing. I know what that means, shes going to have some flowers here in the next week. I couldn't be more excited!!!!! The roots are just downright ruthless; they have been growing out of control. I have a great picture of them in there with no water. I should note that I did two things that might have solved the Tacoing in the leaves. It could have been one or the other, but it also could be a combo of both things. I did the trimming to get some airflow between the leaves and changed the target for my PH from 5.8 to 6.2. When moving into flowering, I should have already done that. But I did both things while the leaves were Tacoing, and now they are not. I wanted to make sure I noted that. 7/26/23 - Day 44 - Things are looking great. No more tacoing, she's growing and still drinking about 2+ gallons a day of water. I hope the vertical growth stops soon, I want to remove a ton more fan leaves, and I'm hoping that it spends more time growing around than up, I'm keeping some leaves on just to slow some vertical growth. 7/27/23 - Day 45 - She's sleeping right now, but I will chop some more fan leaves when she wakes up. She's growing too tall, and I need to find a way to stop her. I think shocking her system will help stunt her growth. How crazy is this, what a conundrum I'm in. Normally I stress out trying to find the right time to trim to avoid stunting growth. I always keep my plants busy and do one or two chops. I think they need to grow as mother nature intended. Let them grow and do one, maybe two fan leave chops. That's always been my motto and its always worked out great for me. This is now the exact opposite. Feels weird even thinking about it, doing a leave chop two weeks into flower..... ARE YOU INSANE!!!!!! Lol The 2nd chop has happened. I took a ton of fan leaves off. It's time for the plant to slow down heal and start working on the buds! Let's see how this goes over the next couple of days. I added a timelapse of me chopping her up. 7/28/23 - Day 46 - After adding more water last night, I was checking PH, and I did a quick check on the ppm from the nutes. If it went from 600ppm down to 130ppm in a couple of days. So we decided to give her another dose of nutes so she has something to eat. I'll update you after she wakes up for the day. If you are looking for this experience, check out https://www.getleaf.co/

This girl is coming on really nicely starting to see a bit more to her now. I have up’d the big bud nutrients this week so hopefully it “puts the big in your buds” increasing both their size and quality It has been about two weeks now since I nearly snapped a branch clean off. I strapped and propped the snapped branch to the main stem as soon as it happened but when I checked on it the next day the strap had slip. I did worry as I wasn’t sure how long it had been apart but I re-strapped it and hoped for the best. So far the branch still looks healthy and I haven’t noticed any issues with it at all. The branch looks as if it’s healing really well so hopefully she pulls through. Happy Growing 🌱

The moniker Mother Superior is apt. Purple Wedding Glue stands a full two node spaces taller than her tent sisters and holds court while pontificating on the virtues of hard work and being a sexy bitch 💅. There’s argument to be made about genetics and structure but there’s also no denying that the Nun dug a little deeper and found something that her peers didn’t or couldn’t. With the onset of pistils, Purple Wedding Glue saw a rehoming with an entirely different set of environmental parameters, namely slightly higher DLI and a crash in humidity to 50-55% that she accepted with grace and poise followed also by a jump in nutrition with the start of her flowering solution minus the first week of flower K dose. And that’s where the complications set in… As I write this I’m looking at the start of leaf stress, inward curling on the new growth sans any burning or clawing, that I’m attributing to myself and my propensity to push the envelope in the name of frugalness. Bio diesel state very clearly on their foliar feed chart “we advise using Rhino K within the first 24 hours of mixing”… I did not lol, and I now believe that 72 hours is asking too much of the solution 🤣. So the foliar application of K brought with it a hiccup but nothing dramatic, lesson learned, only fresh foliar mixtures from now on. But that situation lead me to leave out the K from PWG’s first coco soak. In saying all that the K application did see a tightening and decrease in node spacing and subsequently a slow in vertical growth. A welcome and expected result as PWG was suffering from a slight case of scoliosis due to cramping in the nursery tent. And smell. PWG now comes equipped with an olfactory experience. A deep waft of her admittedly early main cola site suggests a slight but evident dank on the front and burned coffee on the back, no doubt to change and evolve as she matures but any scent beyond planty chlorophyll gets a smile. Probably way more that I’m leaving out but, hey, if you drop by and have grown Aeque Genetics before, drop me a link in the comments. Got love for the company and enjoy seeing their lines grown out. Stay lifted, love and boomshanka 🤙 Booka @ BestenDank

I have been using LST in the form of a fan on medium speed to try and strengthen the main stalk of the plant as well as planter rotation to strengthen the main stalk for tie down LST. So far I've been impressed with the rate of growth and the overall experiment. For what it's worth, the growth wth is very very similar to a hydroponics growth. I'm sure as the experiment continues I'll notice some big differences. It does appear to have either a minor potassium deficiency or a little too much nitrogen. Will monitor and update as needed. The above signs may have been trying to indicate the main stalk was weakening from too much weight from vertical grow rate. This would ultimately lead to a fractured stalk. Is this what happened or is it a fungus or disease problem? Plant C sprouted within 48hrs and will be 6 days behind Plant A. End goal of harvest is still 360g from the two plants combined. Both plants are looking very happy regardless of the toxicity or deficiency. Strong strain nonetheless.
