Week 9 Flower Report: The Countdown to Harvest Begins! 🌼✨ As the ninth week of flower unfolds, the room is a symphony of colors and frosty brilliance—a true gardener’s dream! But as we approach the final stretch, it’s a delicate dance of vigilance and care to ensure a clean and bountiful harvest. Here’s a deep dive into this exciting and educational week: The “Flush” in Full Swing The flush continues as we prepare the ladies for their final days. While we’re a week or so away from harvest, the plants are responding beautifully, showcasing stunning fades that highlight their unique genetics. This fading process is a critical part of the journey, helping the plants naturally finish their cycle while preserving those complex terpene profiles we all love. The Mold Incident: A Teachable Moment This week brought a challenge—a few buds succumbed to bud rot (Botrytis), particularly on the Papaya Zoap and a single bud from the Gorilla Melon. While disheartening, it’s a reminder that mold can occur even in the most well-maintained gardens, especially with dense colas and a full canopy. After a thorough inspection, all affected buds were removed and discarded to prevent the spread. A quick note to all growers: defoliation plays a massive role in airflow and prevention of such issues. This is why mid-flower defoliation is a game-changer, and I’m grateful it kept the rest of the garden healthy! Papaya Zoap’s Unique Quirks The Papaya Zoap continues to be a star of the show with its frosty buds and… albino tips! These tiny white tips are likely from being too close to the lights. While it’s a cosmetic detail that doesn’t affect quality, it’s a fascinating display of how genetics and environment interact. A Frost-Filled Wonderland The room is absolutely glistening with frost. Trichomes are piling up like snow, giving the entire garden a magical wintery appearance. I genuinely believe the ThinkGrow LEDs and TrolMaster spectrum control deserve a shoutout here. Every week looking good to me 😄

Start of week 9, lots of leave are dying, but there was bud growth during the previous week. This will be the last feeding before flushing next Sunday. Some of thehe branches are very heavy, they twist and bend if not supported, hopefully that is a sign of bud weight and not weak stems.

Booming and blooming. One pheno is about 25" tall, and the other is over 3' tall. Not a ton of odor yet, but I continue to be very impressed by the growth rate of these Pride of the Lion genetics. Sprayed CannControl on Wednesday as a preventive measure. Aphids are strong in the brussels sprouts right now.

This lady is making me enjoy a lot her fragrance that come from her flowers, very good strain, the 3 phenos of ak420 smell exactly the same, very sweet and floral nugs, and they're starting to get very compact and dense, let's see how she keeps developing her beautiful flowers everybody! Week 6 of flower! Coming into the final stretch and thankfully this catches me up to the present with this journal. All the girl's are really getting thirsty faster and I've upped their daily to 1gl each with half doses of CalMag+ and PH'd to 6.3. I'll be changing PH to 6.5 for the last 3 weeks of flower to help with their autuming off. The WW is getting so resinous it's ridiculous. Keeping nighttime temps @ 60F and mid 70's during the day with 4 hours of enhanced UV via the HLG UV bar. Supposed to help with tricome and terpene production....we'll see!

Starting to warm up out here, getting real hot in the garden. Blueberry is showing her tiny preflowers and they are looking nice and pointed and very female - still waiting on a pistil to make 100% confirmation. About a month of veg left and I'm thinking it's going to really add some size on in that time. Happy growing!

They’re all doing amazing. Caramelino smells like a super sweet, floral fruit. The White Widow in the corner is stacking up with white flowers all the way up the main stems.

Que pasa familia, hemos vuelto para actualizar las skunk que ya tenemos cosechadas. Que gran genética, y muy típica entre fumadores de hierba, un crecimiento más indico pero floración lenta bastante lenta, en teoría se supone que es Sativa, 17% thc en la tas con un tamaño medio pequeño pero flores mi compactas y dulces, un cultivo ni fácil ni difícil, sin más, bastante neutral para los cambios climáticos algo sensible con el aspecto alimentación. La recomendaría en verdad, sobre todo para aquellos amantes del dulce. Nos vemos en próximos proyectos fumetillas

With the majority of trichomes now turned milky with some turning Amber, i have decided to begin a 10 day flush using nothing but ph balanced water. Doing a shorter than normal flush as the plants with deficiencies don't have much nutes to use up.

Hi growers 👌🏻🍁 This week I’ve had a few slight more issues this run hasn’t been the best so far. But I’m hoping if I can just up my feed as each watering I’m feeding the ppm are only at 450ppm 1ml grow 3ml bloom 2ml top max 4ml heaven 4ml actavira In a 5litre bottle - every 3 days I’ve had a few herm on me - which has been a bit of a disappointing, it just tells me my rooms not dialled in at all. Few more issues to fix next run. All the pink runts autos that finished flowering dried for 1 half weeks then went into canna butter. If anyone can give me a message or comment of anything I can do to try fix these girls I would appreciate it ✌️🏻🍁

Es ist soweit! Am Freitag habe ich die fünf Easy Buds nach knapp 11 1/2 Wochen abgeschnitten und geerntet. Leider musste ich feststellen, dass eine Pflanze ziemlich stark befallen war. Ich vermute eine Milbenart oder möglicherweise Fliegeneier. Unterhalb der Blätter waren etliche dunkelgelbe und dunkelbraune Eier, die man auf den ersten Blick kaum erkennen konnte. Bei genauerem Hinsehen sieht man jedoch, dass sich der Befall auf die ganze Pflanze ausgeweitet hatte. Glücklicherweise blieben die vier anderen Pflanzen verschont. Aus diesem Grund trockne ich die Pflanzen auch getrennt voneinander. Die befallene Pflanze wollte ich nicht direkt wegwerfen, sondern erstmal trocknen lassen. Im Nachhinein werde ich schauen, wie ich mögliche Schadensbegrenzung betreiben kann. Die vier gesunden Pflanzen werden in einem geschlossenen Zelt in einem Trocknungsbeutel getrocknet. Die befallene Pflanze habe ich in dem Folienzelt aufgehängt und mit einer Plane abgedeckt. Nach wenigen Tagen der Trocknung sieht soweit eigentlich alles gut aus. Die Eier scheinen nicht mehr zu schlüpfen, sondern fallen von der Blüte ab oder verschrumpeln zu Kompost. Ich hoffe, dass es dabei bleibt. Der Geruch hat sich nach dem Abschneiden deutlich verändert. Schon nach der kurzen Trocknungszeit kann ich einen intensiveren Geruch feststellen, der sich noch nicht so richtig beschreiben lässt. Die Blüten waren stark mit den sogenannten "Sugar Leaves" verwachsen, weshalb ich sie grob getrimmt habe, um sie zum Trocknen aufzuhängen. Nachdem die Blüten vollständig getrocknet sind, werde ich die Buds noch einmal einzeln trimmen und durch meine Trimm-Maschine von Vevor jagen. Der Ernteprozess hat zu zweit circa eine Stunde gedauert. Die Pflanzen waren zum Zeitpunkt der Ernte noch sehr gesund und kräftig. Die Verwurzelung war trotz des geschlossenen Topfes sehr gut. Die schönste Bud hat definitiv die zentrale Pflanze, Greta, ergeben. Nass hätte ich den Bud auf mindestens 12 g geschätzt. Ein Gesamtgewicht des nassen Pflanzenmaterials habe ich nicht ermittelt. Sobald alles trocken und fertig beschnitten ist, werde ich das Tagebuch um den trockenen Betrag ergänzen. Stand jetzt würde ich schätzen, dass der Ertrag aller Pflanzen bei circa 40-50 g liegt, was mich für meinen ersten Grow ziemlich zufrieden stellt, besonders in Anbetracht dieser wirklich sehr simplen Strain.
