My Skunk Apple Run plant is still a bit young, but I can see those buds starting to form. It's a bit of a slow starter, with buds popping up all over the place instead of a nice even line. We'll see if adjusting the light cycle or its food might help it along. I'll keep you posted on any changes. The past few weeks have been so beautiful, watching the plants grow and change. It's amazing how something so small and fragile can turn into something so strong and vibrant. Now that they're getting ready to bloom, it feels a little bittersweet. I'm so excited to see the finished product, but I'll definitely miss having them around while they're growing.

Struggling to get good pictures for my diary at the min when the lights on my pictures are all blurred from the light and i dont like to go in there when its lights out time for them, i had to move the 3 mimosa and 3 tropicana from 1 tent to another and i think the light change stunted the growth for 5/6 although the 5 that got stunted have now bounced back nicely there just way behind in size to the 1 mimosa that took to the change of conditions fine, had a slight nutrient defeciency i developed inbetween weeks 2-3 and they looked worse for wear had me worried to be honest but everything looks nice and healthy now and all growing strong, PS the other 4 decent sized plants are liberty haze i need to edit the diary and add the strain in its also barneys farm, will try to get better pics and videos over the next couple of weeks as i approach switching to flower

The three plants are doing well. Fat Banana with topping has recovered strongly and continues to grow. Fat Banana without topping is unstoppable. A little defoliation applied. Harvested on day 70 (start of week 10) Only 9.2 grams of bud. Fairly short dry time of 8 days. I dropped a nug on the carpet and thought (f*ck there goes half my harvest) 😅 All jokes aside this is a perfect plant for growers trying to be discreet. I didn't even LST or anything and it only grew to 14 inches tall. You will need a carbon filter as it is a loud strain.

6/21/2021: - Transplanted to final pot. Next cycle, will germinate seed straight into the soil/final pot. - Bought a pump sprayer for even irrigation. - Fed soil a kelp, karanja, neem & coconut water tea. No adverse reactions as of yet. - Soil went hydrophobic before transplant, will water as necessary. - Branch on first node bent from stalk upon transplant, currently being supported by a stake. - Noticing red/purple stalks and branches, very stoked! - Need to re-feed lacto/wild yeast starter. - Need to brew up more kelp tea. 6/23/2021 - Took off support early, split seemed to heal, but has separated once again. Going to manifold, so not too concerned. - Had to water about .7g of water to keep soil moist for duration of day. - 6th node growing vigorously, birth of leaves for 7th node showing. 6/27/2021 - Topped plant for quadlining at the 5th node, cleared all growth under 3rd. - Watered with a mix of coconut water, DIY neem, karanja & kelp extract. - Foliar fed with DIY kelp extract. - Trimmed leaves already giving off great grapefruit aromas. - Pressing trim for framing.

Do you see that SWAMPMONSTER in the corner of the tent there ?? The Queen towers above the canopy and the rest of the plants lol. It's really interesting from using the Smart Proteins, i think how they work is that the plant is able to process them and compensate any kind of slight deficiency which means that each plant that gets the proteins is able to grow to it's maximum potential and at the same time grow to its **individual** potential... that's why each of these plants has so much "character", because if you look closely it's less a question of phenotype but more like "individual expression".... INTERESTING !!! Anyway that's about the visual... my main concern about these is how loud they f-ing smell !!! ITS PROBLEMATIC, so be conscious of that if you plant to grow these one day ! REALLY REALLY LOUD, honestly there should be an additional category on GD like "problematic" which is beyond the "strong smell" category. I have two large carbon filters on two 1330m3/h fans and it's a problem. Hope you understand how unusual that is for a plant in veg lol... I think the smart protein probably affects how strong the plants smell because all the plants seem more smelly than expected... TBH i'll fix the smell issue but hopefully it's a good sign and an indicator of the quality i can expect by harvest time? These also got two rounds of defoliation , and i flipped them to flower like 4 days ago. This was an exciting veg to me, but now is when it gets interesting, let's see how beautiful these flowers are !! Test genetics always have that little bit of mystery to them right? Okay so after 48 hours instead of 24 of darkness. These ladies were begging to be chopped with how much more intense the smell got. Cheesy , sweet , skunky , and a floral incense kind of scent. Made lots of finger hash just getting them off the plants , already smoked. I’m about 75% done with chopping all the major tops. This time I decided to cut off the branches and dry on an eight tier 24” diameter rack off Amazon. All 8 tiers are full with gorgeous top colas. I’m drooling. Can’t believe just how much bud this is turning out to be. They are dense , and oozing. Not going to get a wet weight because this is just too much. But holding the rack it’s like 20 lbs or more. My scales don’t go that high. Lol. Gotta say it, I think my buds look 10 times better than the advertisement photos g13 lab’s mozzarella. My 2 cents and honest opinion. Please do give me your opinions. I know I didn’t show the full grow because life gets busy. My next grow I want to control the humidity and heat levels a bit better. Or just humidity and run co2 to withstand higher temps. I have every angle of the grow under my tips now. It feels amazing to have this kind of harvest after the dedication these plants received. I’m Convinced…. rdwc with a water chiller , is by far the best way to do hydro. When it’s dry I’ll add the final weights. My nutrient reg is this. Jacks 321 , botanic are cal mag plus, hydroguard,PK booster is flower fuel(purple can off Amazon) and unsulfured molasses. If you don’t have an ability to keep water at 70 degrees then only use jacks hydroguard and cal mag. You’ll still do well but that molasses , that sauce is the boss.

Hey there, lads! 👋🌱 It's time for the final update as we enter week 10 of this LED MephistoGenetics Grow. We're on the brink of harvest, and the excitement is Real! 🌿🌸🌞 The majority of my plants are reaching their peak and will be ready for harvest very soon. However, it seems that the Pink Panama and Tooth Decay strains require a few extra weeks to reach their full potential. 🌿🌱⏳ In the meantime, I've already commenced the drying process for my other plants—the beloved Copy Cat Genetics strains & ETHOS—within the tent. In a day or two, they will be eagerly awaiting their new home in designated jars. Proper drying is crucial to preserving the amazing aromas and aromas we've worked tirelessly to cultivate. 🌿🍃🌬️ When comparing this grow to my previous one, which utilized the Lumatek HPS lights, I must say that the buds under the LED lights have truly impressed me with their vibrant colors. The canopy is now a mesmerizing display of the full rainbow, boasting pink, purple, orange, white, Reds. and some exceptionally frosty buds. It's an awe-inspiring sight! 🌈🌿❄️ Today was the last day of providing nutrients, and from now on, I'll be giving them only water with a small dose of connoisseurs to maintain a pH level of 6.33 and a TDS of 50. The long-awaited harvest should take place within a couple of days. Meanwhile, tomorrow, I'll be transferring the Copycat Genetics grow from the drying tent to the jars. We're currently on day 65 of this Mephisto Grow. I'm beyond thrilled to finally harvest these ladies, especially the ones that have been under the LED lights. Day 99 - Ripening week in DWC a. pumped out the Flowering blend, and installed the Ripen b. this plant is certainly a small bush like FastBuds claimed c. I can see how this would be perfect for SOG d. Her pistils are all almost colored, and the trichomes are milky Day 100 a. I always love using Ripen, it works so well b. first day, already notice the top of the buds filling out more c. her life is coming to an end. she will get this week to ripen, then next week we will flush/chop d. growing in DWC makes the ripening and flushing mush faster than other substrates Day 101 - the purple is setting in a. looks like they are ripening up fast, the purple is getting darker and the buds harder Day 102 - ripening really nice, the smell is quite intense a. she is smelling up our barn, we dont have a filter b. Ripen always makes the buds very hard, she is drinking a L a day right now in the end. Day 104 - incredible smell a. this is finally smelling pungent like kush, well kushy haze b. sampled a small top bud, its killer c. Will be cutting down in a few days Day 105 - ripe a. the buds are ripe, I will gradually start the flush before harvest b. will give them 1 or 2 more days of ripen formula, then flush with Florakleen for a day

Day 86 - Major training session on both ladies today. Things were getting too crowded with 4 photos (80+ days veg) and 2 autoflowers that both seem to have around a month left in them. Topped all upper branches and stripped most of the undergrowth, leaving only 2-3 nodes on every branch. Took me over an hour to do all four plants but in the end tings look much better in the tent. Now onto a hopefully short recovery on all plants. Day 89 - Maria is showing signs of recovery from last training session. All new growth is lush and green. She takes training very well and always recovered relatively fast from anything done on her. Loving this pheno. Juanita is a complete different story. She does not like topping, she does not like leaf stripping, she does not like node stripping. Pushing new growth but not as nice as I would like her to be...

I had to get up Early this morning as an impending thunderstorm threatened to drench my plants which I wasn't going to let happen 😡 bloody rain 😆 It's all good now they are under cover and protected from any more showers we may have . She had a good feed yesterday of some Liquid potasium, Seaweed solution , Epsom salts and Mollasses so she should be content until the sun returns . That's why the beautiful dark shimmer on the leaves :-). She has developed very well this week. I will give you 7-10 days before I switch to flowering.
