I did have one issue, the Drain Petcock on the 25g reservoir was broken during shipping. After a phone call to GrowAce, they had a replacement one on its way to me which I received in just a couple of days! I did however make one addition to the system. I placed a pair of air-stones, one in the Reservoir and the other in the Distribution Bucket to really oxygenate the water. I started all my seeds by first soaking them in tap water for 12 hours, then transferred them into pre-moistened (6.3ph) peat pellets. I placed the pellets in half Solo cups in the tent with 24hrs of light under which they sprouted within 48 hours. I kept the tent temperatures between 80-84℉, the RH at 65-70% and made sure that the pellets stayed moist, not wet. 10/3- All of the Tropicana Cookies are looking healthy and have good color and vigor! I'll be moving them into their fabric pots which have already been pre-moistened in the next day or two, or as soon as I see roots emerging from the pellet. 10/5- Today I moved all three Tropicana Cookies into the fabric pots, adding some Xtreme Gardening's Mykos into each hole before placing the peat pellets. I have the HLG 650R set to 15% and hung 30" from the seedlings. Tent temperatures are 80-84℉ with RH running 65-70%. 10/7- Well there's the first week on the books for these three little ladies and they're looking fantastic. This black cherry punch is getting some really nice purple in it faster than my last one did. The voodoo juice x platinum hermed this week so moved it to it's own tent. We have 6 plants remaining in the room. I cut out the maxigro this week. They are getting .5 tsp per gallon of maxibloom now. Seems to be keeping everyone happy. Not much to report other than that. Buds seem to be progressing pretty nice.

the plants aren’t using the calcium and magnesium because of ph problems so the leaves are showing deficiency.

D25 - Today was the first day in week four of veg. I had planned on starting her training today, but I found thrips in my other tent, so I was busy with that. However, I inspected the girl but couldn't see any thrips and then sprayed her with some chili tincture as a preventative measure. D27 - I still haven't seen any thrips on her, but I resprayed her yesterday anyway, just in case. Today, I started her LST and did some very light defoliation by removing the lowest two nodes. I also noticed that she is now in flower. Unfortunately, she is still too small to hang the mites sachet on, so for now, I hung it on the handle of the pot instead. D31 - She is in flower now at the end of the fourth and last week of veg. She looks healthy and vibrant, but she is also relatively small, so it will be interesting to see how she develops. It's the first time I have ever transplanted, so maybe I accidentally stunted her. But then, I've never grown this strain before, so I don't know what to expect either.

The plants are looking really healthy. I’m still getting used to my new lights. I think I didn’t push enough light in week 2 of flower I’m ramping up the light intensity now. I had to whip out my par meter I was keeping the light to far off the plants. This light has to be closer to the plants than my mini sun. I’m lurking this light a lot I just need to get used to it

Well growmies , that was fun , I really enjoyed doing a outdoor run this year , it's really too bad about how the weather played out , but still I ended up getting a bunch of jars of some frosty Buds 👈 and thats what matters ..... Most of the week was spent setting up the hydro grow. Needed to build a DIY chiller since air temp in our grow room is hot, and water needs to be a good deal colder. Fridge from kijiji, garden hose, fittings, and submersible pump all in were under $100 but knowing what I know now I'd likely go with a thermoelectric chiller (DIY, with power supply and temp controller) next time around. Looking forward to tracking metrics and seeing how it goes :). Seems there's a lot of contradiction in terms of level of nutrients recommended, max water temperature, using H2O2 to boost water temp that can keep algae and rot at bay, etc. Got my hands on some Hydroguard via Amazon... despite local shops saying you can't get it in Canada... so I'm going to go with that instead of H2O2 to start, despite water temp getting up above 21 C (70 f) during the day. Fingers crossed. Update - keeping water reservoir tank under 20 C now by using reflective bubble wrap insulation on the reservoir itself and pipe insulation as well. It's a 10 C difference from the room temp, so I'm SUPER pleased with that.

The baby of the bunch she huge. I just had to move one of my light down to help my other plants and since I have done that I have started to see some yellowing leave not many but I will keep an eye on it

Another week closer.... What a great week, ...The plant that had twisted leaves and blister look on the leaves is back to normal and most of the blister look has flatten out and all new growth is perfect......Back story real quick....My tri meter was not calibrated right and was feeding them at 5.5.-- 5.6 that plant didn't like it and it was to low and thats what it caused, after recalibrating and now having it at a steady 5.9 the plant looks great and is budding out nicely. The rest of the girls are growing beautiful and are budding out crazy, going to be some big bomb budz.....Nothing else to report. Until next week, smoke a fatty, help out your fellow grower.

Coming to a close here with Tangie'matic. This grow has been so enriching! I decided to go outside of my comfort zone and head strong into the controversial world of topping autoflowers. Some people swear by it, others stand by their stance that topping an autoflower will destroy any chance at a decent yield by stunting the plant in its already limited life cycle. This plant has been a true partner throughout this grow process. I pushed with the top, she pushed back with buds. I pushed her again by changing her grow environment when I decided to prematurely move my grow tent into the basement. She stacked and fattened. When I traveled and let her house get too chilly, she tossed me a couple of foxtails to remind me that I need to do a better job. I responded with more environment correction and she rewarded me by finishing up beautifully.

Esta semana aplique la tecnica lst. Hubiera preferido hacerlo antes pero estaba esperando por que antes queria trasplantarlas. Pero no he podido comprar macetas, ni el medio de cultivo. Entonces decidi hacerlo en las macetas actuales para comenzar a guiar la planta, ya que va creciendo muy rapido. Junto con la tecnica lst tambien hice defoliacion a todas las plantas. Comence a regar con fertilizante en polvo Green House para la etapa de vegetacion. Uso 0.5g / 1L . Ocupo unos 2L para regar cada planta.
