Day 8 - First official day of veg and both ladies are looking good and on schedule for a couple of changes. Nutrients: 10ml of Hydro A & Hydro B were added to both buckets (10L of water in each bucket) PH: the Milwaukee PH controller was set to work - starting at a PH of around 7.6 - 7.8, it slowly worked down to a perfect 6.0 over about 50minutes. Lights: The lights were readjusted to be 60cm from the seedlings who are all between 8-10cm tall and the intensity of the lights were increased to about 70% brightness. Day 9 - Both plants are taking nicely to the adjustments and I am happy with the progress. Temp and humidity are stable and PH is controlled. Day 11 - The second nodes are clearly visible today for both Chong and Max which would hopefully put them at 3 nodes by the end of the week - right on schedule! Day 13 - The ladies seem to be showing some signs of heat stress, so thinking about adjusting the lights after their period of dark today because they are due to be adjusted tomorrow anyway for the new week of veg

The girls are moving along nicely just watering with water ph to 6.4 this week as I top dressed with Gaia green 4-4-4.Spider farmer Se7000 dialed in at 30 percent and to the ceiling.Noticed some minor deficiencies Day 12 and check soil slurry 50/50 soil/water and the ppm was at 780 lil high at this early stage and the culprit.Going to work on lowering that a bit this week.I did add a top layer of fox farm ocean forest as well which runs a little hot with nutrients rather than the pro mix.I have to remember with these beautiful auto flowers less is better :)

August 23: Just finishing up about 36 hours of darkness, then I'm going to wash the buds, then hang them. Harvesting a bit early due to time constraints but it looks good. The smell is very dank, not a tropical skittles smell, much more like wood glue as I've seen mentioned in other reviews, although I'm starting to occasionally catch a sweeter tropical scent as well. I wanted to leave it a little longer. There were still a lot of white hairs when I started the dark period, but a lot of them seem to have developed into swollen calyxes so I'm pretty happy. I was a little worried they were making seed pods after last time, but I broke one open and all that was inside was red hairs. I'm going to keep an eye on the RH while they're drying and get them into jars and try to wait as long as possible before I start sampling. I can tell this is one of those batches that's going to get better and better if left alone for a couple months. Just did the wash, did 1.25 cups of 34% food grade H202 and a squeezed lemon in a 5 gal bucket. Another bucket of just water to rinse. Then I had a fan on it while hanging in the sunlight from a skylight in the bathroom for 30 min, then put the fan further back and on oscillate, then turned it down an hour later. Left it in there for a few hours, then hung it in the grow tent with everything removed except an oscillating fan, pointed away from the buds. I have the whole plant hanging in the middle of the tent and the tent is holding at 60% rh. Next run I'm going to do 2 buckets and only top once. I might leave them a bit longer in veg too to maximize the height in my grow space, and I'll get a proper 500w bulb instead of continuing to run 1000w bulbs at 50% to lower the heat a bit. The weather will be cooler and I'll only run one air stone in each bucket which should help with res temp. I'll probably foil-wrap the buckets again as well. I should be able to get another run done by the end of the year. I have a White Widow fem seed I've been waiting to use but I'm not sure what else I want to grow yet. Maybe Granddaddy Purp. I'll take some micro pics of the trichomes this week and start curing, and I'll post a proper review in a couple weeks. Happy growing everyone! August 24: I took it out of the tent to inspect. No mold or mildew. The middle of some buds are still pretty wet. I'll keep an eye on it. Wet weight on the stem is 158 grams/ 5.5oz. I harvested a couple branches last week and hung them up. I just ground up one of the buds, left it overnight and vaped some today. There was a bit of Chemdawg Tangerine in the grinder already but overall I got a lot of thick vapour, instant effects, and a really great tropical taste. I busted out the microscope camera and I realized I had a couple buds that fell off before I washed the plant in the H202, and a couple buds that came off in the washing process. It doesn't look like washing the buds took off any of the trichomes. I do seem to find less debris in the buds, not that there was much there before. The trichs look great. Just a light toasting of amber. The washed bud actually seems more dry than the unwashed bud. August 25: there's a real chlorophyll smell coming from the drying room today, it was much terpier yesterday. Leaves are getting crunchy, stems are still fully bendy. I ended up taking it down in the evening. The drying room rh dropped from 60% to 55% and the buds were starting to look too dry based on my last grow. I put it all in a paper bag for the night and I'll put it in jars tomorrow morning. Broken down most of the way it came out to 48-49 grams. From the bud structure, I definitely feel like it would have benefitted from more grow time if I didn't have to travel. More to come. August 26 - the edges of the buds are getting really crispy and the buds are getting tighter. I checked the paper bag earlier and it was 65-70%. I got the impression it was time to put it into jars. I'll keep the lids off for a bit.

Or not, I'll leave that down to you but either way good luck with your grows, stay safe. 28/4/22 Have started these on the voodoo/La Calvera. These versions are from the ppl who hold the pattens and make a lot of ANs formulas. They have just improved upon most of the AN line up but they kept these the same. As they are tried and tested. You can check these out on led-grower.eu/terra-power/ and read up on them for yourself. Going to be running this one differently. As I can only use Terra Power Nutrients that match what AN products I have to make it fair, as it's a comparison grow I won't be using the 50 billion microbes per 1ml enzyme and a few other things. Have to make it as fair as I can. Everything will be the same, (only thing that will be different is the feed charts and how some of terra Power Nutrients can be applied as a foiler spray, I'm going to be following AN/TP grow charts to the letter to make it as fair as possible with decent results). Pot size, transplant/feed/light time Will all be the same. Hopefully soon you'll be able to click on them and look em up when they join GD in the next wk or so. As soon as both plants start to show leafs I will then apply nutrients in a very small dose. Like .5ml/l to start off with and of course I'll use the same amount of nutrients ml/ml. Hopefully the PPM won't go too high in TP as if it is I'll have to use less TP to match the PPM or get it close but if its not off by too much that it won't hurt the plant I'll be running with it. Maybe I'll add the nutrients solo when they start to feed. Both plants have been given 100ml of voodoo/La Calavera 300ppm 6ph 20c temp. 100ml and will apply again in 2 days. And when leafs start to show I'll start them on a weekly base nutrient feed but for waters in between I'll most likely be adding enzymes and root stims on every feed as they have very little EC and won't cause nutrient/tip burn. This is 1 of 6 so far that has been planted. 50% of the strains I have doubled up on, for this 1 though there'll be dif ph/ppm and that which I will add here. Advanced nutrients grow: everything I did above was repeated. PPM was 280 PH was 5.7 temp was 20c. When leafs show I will apply base nutes. I've laid a damp towel down around the pots on the ground to try and bring the RH up to 70+. (Don't fully wet the towel as it won't dry fast enough to make an impact on RH.) 30/4/22 Veg started on both ladies. VD1, both look very nice and just 38hrs in the ground they are both up. When I checked last night they weren't up but I had a feeling some would pop while I was sleeping, so I decided to turn on the grow light. I know it doesn't need to be on until they are up and showing the 2lil fan leafs but hey, 65% it is set at and 45cm away. RH is holding at 67% wet towel is just about dry will be wetting it again. Will also give both girls a feed after they come out of their rest period. As they are all so new I have turned the light on a 7/7 meaning every hrs it comes on and off. Will hold off on nutrients until I see both plants holding out hands. Will introduce some enzymes later today also. 1ml/L of Piranha and tarantula for both of them with voodoo. Both nutrient brands are the same, it's the same formula. Decided to make up the mix. Each custom terra P nutrient has a corresponding Adv Nutrient underneath. I'm going exactly of each of their grow charts and using as guide lines. Adv Nutrients says to use Tarantula&Piranha in weeks 1-2 of grow but terra Powers versions say to use these on weeks 3-4 So that's why I'm going to do. Ive used ml/ml in each nutrient. Adv Nutrients PH was 6.4ph and the EC was .94 TERRA POWERS nutrients were more stable and more potent PH 6.0 EC 1.19. So it looks like the PH balanced nutrients aren't controlled by the amount of ml you use as when you use 2ml/L of both grow A+B of adv nutrients the PH is in the range of 6.2. Water used was 6.7 our tap water has gone up must be because we coming into summer and the ppm jumped up from 78 to 105ppm. I use a charcoal filter for all my water doesn't change PH but lowers PPM from 78 to 105. I'll be using this 1L mix throughout it's 1st wk on every feed. As it's such a low dose I have no concern about salt build up. When I up the ml/L I'll use 1L of mix feed of each nutrient. So if the dose is 1ml/L they'll get that total amount in 1 week and as they get bigger and will be able to take 1l at a time they'll only be getting 1 feed of nutrients and water/enzyme feeds and root stims with no EC/SALT. 2/5/22 Both plants doing well. Fed again today. 100ml both plants their own nutrient mix. Both held the same EC but AN PH went up to 6.6 from 6.4 (still fine, and reasonable for a 3 day old mix) and terra power no change. 4/5/22 Made new mixes for both plants adjusted AN PH to 6, the same as Terra Power. (Needs no PH-+ ).. to make it as fair as I can, I've added a biobizz calmag agent to both mixes. 2ml/L was added to all 8mixes. 400ppm 2ml/L PH was 6.4 had to use PH - To bring it to 5.8. Didn't have any affected on the PH of terra power or the adjusted AN. I am guessing I only need a PH - now is cause I'm using so little of the PH perfect solution which is normally 6 but when mixed normally AN holds 6.2-3...Terra Power holds on 6 on everything so far. 6-7 nutrients all 6 PH. La Sirena is sooooo potent. Decided to add La Calavera aka voodoo juice. So, since I don't have a lux/ppfd meter. I use this to know exactly where it's most powerful. It really helped. As I had 4 plants is 12000 where I had space where the light was hitting 18500, I know the strength is off, but it gives me a guide as to where to place my plants it is going to help so much. 6/5/22 So, it's begun. I've created a negative pressure environment, 1st time, let's see if it makes an impact. On wk 3 onwards I'll be running the intake extraction for 5mins every 30mins and I'll have 2 co2 bags up. If the RH becomes a problem or temp I'll put the extraction/intake back on 100% of the time. The extraction fan/intake is set at a ratio of 2 to 1. (100% extraction 50% intake) making a negative pressure environment, best way to show you have done this, the walls in your tent should bow in lightly. In the beginning of flower in going to seal my 150x150 and I'll add 2 co2 bags into it and seal it up with the dehuimifier set at 45% 12/12 and it'll be superhot and I'll then put the photos into a negative pressure environment that'll be 8-10c lower and will have 45-50% RH, hopefully this will bring any terps out, the autos will get a 6hr rest in a negative pressure environment also this will bring the temp down by 8-10c and giving me a sudden drop in temp, let's see what happens. Same Day. Decided to brace AdvNutrient plant so she grows up right, she started to bend, had bout a 30degree bend. Simply braced her with a clamp to a stick a few cm away from the tap root with stem inbetween, should keep the ADVNUTE plant up right. Terra Power plant growing straight and healthy, she was only started on the root stim yday and no enzymes yet and she's not too far behind. I can see TP take the lead in the late veg-pre flower stage. Idk. But there's 2 major nutrients ADV plant is getting was 3 all week and then I added La Calavera (ANs voodoo juice) last night. Going to be running another AN/TP grow this time I'm not only going to match Nute for nute but the same time and ML/ML will be given also. Check out CBD CA for results. Moved everything over to the big room, installed 2 trellis nets to assist the smaller pots from falling over as the flowers develop. I set the lights on a lower umol setting to let the plants adjust to the new light, then gradually increased as they got used to it and flower progressed.

First off I just want to say for some reason it’s not letting me change the right temperatures on my diaries ! Each time when I put it in they stay at 50. My day air stays 75 degrees an , night degrees is 70 ! Today is day 58 for all these ladies! This week has been really great ! Girls really progressed a lot , especially for one the Forbiddin Runtz, looks like is gonna finish up in a week or 2 ! Other then that they are coming along well! So the hubby has been growing this strain (in soil) for approx 9 weeks. It took some wearing him down but eventually after many batches of freshly baked cookies I finally convinced him to cut me a clone, and an apex clone at that. #truelove It took about 3 weeks to root (unintentionally caused a lock out by attempting to grow roots in the same water/nutrient mix we were giving the 5 wk plant) #lessonlearned She’s since recovered and has grown a beautiful root system. Mega Power plant auto grew great. I ran her a bit long and she foxtailed on me. I was aiming for more of a good night kinda smoke. Hopefully with the relaxing qualities of this strain, plus the extra ripeness I may have a winner. I won't find out likely for about 2 months. Between dry time, and others ahead of her with my schedule I am getting them done as fast as I can. Very frosty flowers. Has a sweet earthy fruity smell. I have a harvest video that would not upload. What can I say fast buds have done it again with another amazing strain, she grew really fast, showed great response to lst. She has the most beautiful colours on her when in flower, she would’ve filled out abit more if I gave her another week or 2 but due to certain circumstances she had to be pulled, which is sure a shame but she’s still frosty as hell and stinks! Will certainly be doing this strain again outdoor and indoor! Will update smoke in another week or so. Happy growing! 🌱
