At the original Afghan kush the first multi-fingered leaf grew, I would really like to experiment and top one of these plants, but I wait for the guinea pig to make at least one more row of leaves, the guinea pig will probably be a plant from number 1 to number 8, in fact I ask you all, in your opinion which plant is better to top? Weekly update fam. We got preflowers, so we all know what that means. The flower stage of the plant cycle has started. I'm extremely happy the way these have grown requiring no special treatment what so ever. They're getting attacked by some pest but I'll spay and hopefully get that under control before to late into flower. I generally don't like to spray past week 3 of flower. All in all Happy Growing

On the start of week 4 flower the gals are doing well :) The Blueberry scent is getting stronger. I defoliated lower growth sites and cleaned up the top canopy to let more light and air in. I couldn't get everything I wanted to prune because I cant reach the back of the canopy, so some larf will be expected on my plant in the back of the box. On day 2 its all on cruize control now not much else to do but keep my reservoir on point and wait for the girls to bulk up and mature :). On day 6 I mixed up a new 5 gal reservoir with my bloom nutes. At the end of week 4 flower the girls smell great :). the smell is building every day along with the buds :) I'm really happy and surprised with the production at only week 4. It seems my clone may be optimized to my growing environment and or the increased light levels from being too close to the grow lights have accelerated the flowering process.

Es gab keine dramatischen Veränderungen, sondern eine stetige Reifung, die uns dem Erntezeitpunkt näherbringt. Die Pflanze präsentiert sich sehr buschig und vital, mit zahlreichen dichten Blütenständen, die sich gut ausgebildet haben (siehe Gesamtansicht der Pflanze). Die Buds sind kompakt und haben in den letzten Wochen an Volumen und Gewicht zugelegt. Man kann deutlich sehen, wie die Blütenkelche anschwellen und sich zu reifen Blütenständen formen. Trichom- und Stigmen-Reife: Ein genauerer Blick auf die Buds (wie im ersten Nahaufnahme-Bild der Trichome und im weiteren Nahaufnahme-Bild der Buds mit orangenen Stigmen ersichtlich) zeigt den Fortschritt der Reifung. Die weißen, harzigen Trichome bedecken die Blütenstände in Hülle und Fülle, was auf eine intensive Produktion von Cannabinoiden hinweist. Bei den Trichomen ist nun eine gute Mischung aus milchig-trüben Köpfen zu erkennen, die auf die volle Potenz hindeuten. Erste bernsteinfarbene Trichome beginnen ebenfalls aufzutreten, was ein Zeichen dafür ist, dass der Erntezeitpunkt bevorsteht. Parallel dazu haben sich die Stigmen (die feinen Härchen auf den Buds) von Weiß zu einem satten Orange-Braun verfärbt. Dies ist ein weiteres starkes Indiz für die Reife der Blüten und die nahende Ernte. Blattwerk und Nährstoffbedarf: Das Blattwerk der Pflanze ist größtenteils weiterhin gesund und grün, was auf eine gute Nährstoffversorgung schließen lässt. Einige der größeren Fächerblätter können in dieser späten Blütephase leichte Anzeichen von Vergilbung zeigen, da die Pflanze ihre Energie nun primär in die Blütenentwicklung steckt und Nährstoffe aus den Blättern zieht. Dies ist ein natürlicher Prozess, der oft als "Herbstfärbung" bezeichnet wird. Wir werden die Reifung der Trichome weiterhin genauestens beobachten, um den optimalen Erntezeitpunkt zu bestimmen, der je nach gewünschtem Effekt variieren kann. Auch die allgemeine Gesundheit der Pflanze wird weiterhin im Auge behalten, um sicherzustellen, dass sie bis zur Ernte optimal versorgt ist.

All good. Ripening process. I think they’ll need 60-63 days. Blue Zushi has amazing terps but the stability is very poor. 3 beans , 3 completely different phenos and completely different terpene profiles. Have 3 more growing in nursery. But wouldn’t recommend a big run with these. But there could be a winner to be hunted.

This week can be simplified as EXPLOSION!! The plant doubled in size and I can see many main branches now, which is pretty awesome!! This is exactly what is LST is for, right!? I am pretty amazed for seeing this explosion in the 2nd week of flowering and cannot wait to introduce the booster when flowers are going to be a little bigger, in around 6~10 days. Now I'm keeping training her for at least 5 days, and then I'll stop so she can focus on flowering. At the e moment I'll stop training her she will also be able to have more space for herself in the tent as the other plant are going to be chopped pretty soon (other diary updated). So far so good, starting to get a nice smell comin from the tent. Pheno 3 is still the frostiest n chunkiest but very leafy. Number one has the least frost but the colas are stacking nice. I think number 4 is starting to look the best buds are catching up to number 3 but not as leafy/ gonna b easier to trim

Although these plants might look small for 7 weeks old, it's because of the way I've been training them, to grow horizontally & all the H.S.T I've performed to get a really strong, thick structure & also as I've had to manage the height as they will be in veg until the plants in flower are finished & I can transfer them & start flowering. Continue tying branches down as they grow & separate growth tips. Also defoliate leaving only top growth as this will be removed later anyway. Very hardy plants that have handled all the H.S.T & my accidental abuse with no worries. Very thick strong branching. Finished training & now letting them grow upwards to get a bit of size before they get put to flower. Let’s go Day 36 !!! This week went real great, girls built up a lot of structure, and stayed super healthy ! Today they got fed just water phd at 6.5 ! They been really loving that balance! I also removed a lot of under trim since we are going into preflower , so had to shave up those legs lol ! It’s really great for them , the love that airflow , but don’t take off too much or you could shock your plants so be careful ! Can’t wait to see what these girls do this week ! Two phenotypes - one purple and one white/green. The purple was very difficult to train and resulted in a couple inadvertent breaks - luckily it was repairable. The other trained very well, very flexible and worked very good for SCROG. Both produced heavily and are beautiful. The purple tends to be much more fluffy, with very long pistil hairs - the longest of any grow I have done. The white was super dense, very crystally and sticky. It will be very interesting to see how they smoke. Also, the purple tended to do very well with some nute mistakes I made as well as fluctuating pH in my water feeding. The white did not do as well in this regard but was able to get to harvest fine. Wet bud weight is prior to trimming. The buds off of these plants were HUGE!!!! Plant #1: (Purple): Wet weight - 76.58oz prior to trim; 15 colas; Terps: White - 60%, Clear - 20%, Amber - 20% Plant #2: (White): Wet weight - 71.65oz prior to trim; 16 colas; Terps: White - 70%, Clear - 30%, After 3 days of drying, took them down to trim for my jars. After a few hours filled mostly quart jars 3/4 full but also tried an Infinity jar and a gallon mason jar to minimize the number of smaller jars. Dry weights into jars: Plant #1: 14.79 oz Plant #2: 11.76oz I did pull them after a day to dry rack them for 12 hours due to a little bit higher moisture content then I would have liked ( 70%rH). Re-jarred on 6/1/23 and now holding steady at around 60% rH. Cure Check In (Week 2): 6/10 - 6/12/23: rH ~ 63 - 66%. Daily air exposure & fanning. Very smelly. Looking good - another couple weeks and will be ready.
