420FASTBUDS ORT2109 WEEK 7 The pair of these beautiful girls continue to surprise me every week. I give them a once over and look and the leafs for a weekly inspection to make sure all's well. The both have many flower sites showing up and I decided to do a mild defoliation to allow the plants energy to be focused on the upper sites. Over all I'll continue feeding them they way I have been with 2liters of water/nutes every 2-3days. Happy Growing

This was a quiet week. The girls were recovering from their topping but were also flipping into flower. They have been getting water every two days and that seems to be an issue so I bought an auto watering drip system to install next week. This girl has the biggest comeback outta all of them. Has continued to do well and has responded very well to the topping. When I get more I will try again one day. The northern lights in the mix is from seedsman. The air tube makes a huge difference. She is in a corner under my Mars Hydro FC4800 light in my autoflower room. Yo! Week 2 Flower diary. Honestly I'm lost now I'd say it's closer to the end of week 3. I've done a full res wash, sterilization and refill ahead of adding another 5 plants. Even in one day I'd say I can see a visible 'perk' in these girls since doing that. Now off big bud and onto PK. They were showing signs of K deficiency so I took that and threw in some PK and the results speak for themselves. Frost is now in full swing. Got me drooling at the already grapey terps coming from them. Photos are poor this week as lights had already come on before I got to them. Will try for some with just the fluorescent on next week.

hey guys so my welsh brother sent me some daffodil seeds called FTB1 from the Fast Buds company, and if i'm honest with you i'm so happy to be growing next year's autos, always been a dream of mine to grow the unreleased genetics, let's see if they sprout, i'm a bit nervous because they came unwrapped in the mail you know ... let's see. alright so first thing that happened is my propagator broke so i had to fix it up best i could with some cling film then threw it in the bathroom in the sink basically lol, day one many of the non test gens cracked and were growing, and fbt1 didnt yet, and i was like oh well, it was a long shot, it came loose in the mail, and it breaks my heart. Day 2 it had cracked and day 3 it had shot through the cube, check out the cookies week you can see the root sticking out from the bottom already, in the end it's definitely some strong gens and i cant wait to see it grow !

Started having some leaf issues at the end of week 6, defoliated, gave medium/heavy feeding of big bloom. Going to start flushing with distilled water for a few days and see if any improvement, only fan leaves affected at this time. Day 45: checked ph of soil, showing 7.0, just ordered some fox farms ph down should be here in 48hrs Day 49: bought a reliable pH testing pen and found my distilled water to be 9.5! Mixed up some spring water/nutes/pH down at 5.8/5.9 . Hopefully this does the trick!

Day 60F The PM on the cheese has gotten significantly worse in the last few days. I think it may have something to do with the constant humidity spikes every time I water. I haven’t been running my humidifier at all in flower so maybe it’s having trouble keeping the RH up during lights on. Just another reason to follow a daily watering schedule. The cheese and slurricane look fucking disgusting and I’m starting to doubt that a peroxide wash can totally fix it. It worked well for my outdoor crop so it should be fine but this time there is probably 3x the amount. I’ll make sure to really soak the buds and rinse them off good. Bbb#1 is flopping over like crazy from the weight. Too late to stake it up now so hopefully it holds until next week. Starting to foxtail a bit but nothing too bad. It is now 100% done and ready for chop. Bbb#2 is just getting frostier and frostier by the day. The purple fade is really coming along nicely too. Might reveg. It is now 100% done and ready for harvest. Black garlic #1 is finally filling out! I can’t believe it. Never heard of a plant packing weight on like that in week 8. The breeder did mention that it packs on weight later but I’m stunned. Taking her to 9.5 weeks. Black garlic #2 is looking very average. Average color, average size buds, average frost, average smell, probably an average yield. And it’s starting to get a bit of PM. Overall not happy. Will be taking her to 9.5 weeks. Zkittlez #1 has pleasantly surprised me. It was a bushy runt in veg but came through. It’s the third frostiest in the tent, super dense, stacked tight, smells great and looks great. It’s already got a nice amount of amber so it’s 100% ready for chop. Slurricane #4 looks insanely frosty even under all that PM. If I can’t wash it off it’s going in the trash. I want to chop this asap but have to cut everything at once unfortunately. It’s 100% ready for harvest. Badazz OG cheese is looking like a decent yielder but doesn’t have much else going for it. I think it still has some filling out to do. I can’t even smell the final profile change yet. The leaves are rotting off very quickly. Taking her 9.5 weeks. I don’t mind harvesting a bit later rather than early. From my outdoor experience, when a plant is picked early it smells like hay and wet grass clippings until it’s been curing for 3 weeks. When I harvest late or at 30-50% amber trichomes it smells like same scent profile it had when growing. Just my experience. I’ve read that the tobacco industry adds calcium and potassium carbonate to their crops to help promote fire holding capacity and to increase the whiteness of ash. Turns out some of the organic amendments I bought last week contain exactly that. I’m going to give each plant a light top dress to see if the tobacco industry is onto something.
