08/29/2018 Been a hot week but the girls don't seem to mind,90s in the day 82° at night and sticky,muggy weather. Their leaves all pointing ☝️,lets me know they are happy ☺️ .watered with plain water they were pretty dry pots weight was very light. Will feed and water in in morning sleep well and medicated😎 08/31/2018 Just a note today #1 is very green compared to the other 4 plants, could be potted plants running low on nitrogen? My soil has plenty according to soil test. I know last year's crop in soil was pale like other 4 plants, maybe biochar is helping soil retain it's nutes better? Year 2 for biochar, first year could have tied up some nutes....hmmm? Ps Last feeding today Fox farms big bloom at heavy feeder dose 1/2 cup per gallon, should see nice gains this week! 🙏🙏🙏. Pss. G GTH #4 loosing her smells, #3 smells of Skunk and coffee ☕,#2 minty chlorophyll orange,#1 menthal,skunky but very lite scent. Should I pollinate a branch of each? Oh my God the pressure! bit of light stress in the last weeks photos, everything has cleared up still watering with silica when pot is dry. might just do a plain watering we have started flowering at day 18 on one of the crinkles , the rest of the room has now followed

Week 8

Yesterday I discovered that, in order to change my timer, I didn't put the clock back onto it. Now they had 3 hours more light on the third day of flowering. Exactly the kind of oopsies this grow really doesn't need. But it happened and all back on a normal schedule, but I hope the OHS en GG4 aren't affected by it too much... One accidental re-vegging is more than enough for a year. Also, these sensitive strains can hermie on me for lesser reasons so from now on I'll be checking for male signs daily. The XTraKush is performing as advertised, with enormous stretch, these plants can go 10 ft up according to the breeder. So I'm tying them down and managing this to fill out the space. With all the stuff going on, this 'underdog' strain might even prove most resilient, when all is said and done. They seem to respond really well to the SP-3000 light and If you are in the market for a new light, consider this option from Mars Hydro. Thank you @MarsHydroLED for letting me try it, it is a dream of a light. I compared it to my old light again and PAR values are not even in the same ballpark. Well a couple issues in the grow room this week. The ladies got much bigger that I had expected! They trippled in size and now I have an issue of them getting a bit too tall. The light I am using says 30-36" above canopy...light is high as it can go and I'm about 28-32 above the canopy. From the info I've looked through I think I had light bleaching going on. I turned the light down 20% and doesn't seem to be happening any more. I am also having a war with the weather. I'm in canada and the weather is all over the place rite now. Drastic temp swings and humidity up and down. Other than this the ladies seem to be rolling along well . Can't wait for the colas to fill ! Staked all the branches in preparation for some hopefully big buds

Only sprayed twice during the cycle. I added natural predators to do the work. This time i did some Neem Oil through foliar spray

She did not get very big but she has produced very compact and sticky nuggets, she has given 31,2g of high quality buds

Growing like a weed. Light burn mid veg, due to ph meter broken. Quickly recovered after flush. No issues since. Day 14, lowering nitrogen tomorrow. Slowly raising her ph a wee bit, she doesn’t seem to mind. 7 out of 8 seem to be on the same pace, one is a little slower. All plants, aside from color, look the same genetically. Rare to have a bag of seeds with the exact same plants. Good job Grower’s Choice. Still no pollen sacs on sprayed branches.

Strain very resistant, although I had some problems with this, unfortunately having grown up in Outdoor the bad weather ripped away almost all the sunbathing, the plant weakened and had problems with aphids. Despite this she managed to complete the flowering cycle, harvested not abundant given all the problems mentioned above, but the buds she produced are quality with a scent of blueberry mixed with really strong fruit. Small but compact buds covered with resin 🤙

9/2 8 tablespoons of Foxfarm Big Bloom 15 MLS Foxfarm Tiger Bloom 1/2 teaspoon Foxfarm Open sesame per 2 gallons. 9/4 32 MLS of each PH Perfect micro, grow and bloom. Per 2 gallons. She needs to be fed more often. 9/7 Two tablespoons of liquid kelp. 1 teaspoon Foxfarm Open sesame. Fed 1 gallon. I have to give her water daily. If I don't the water will not soak into the entire fabric pot. 9/2 is the end of her first full week in flower. She seems to be doing well. Some lower leaves are turning yellow. Not sure if the yellowing is from the leaves not getting sun or not enough food. I pulled some off and fed Keep pulling off little growth spots here and there. Been leaving 3 bud sites per branch. Every once in a while I hit her up with some PH Perfect. Just to make sure everything is in check. I need to get a ph meter. The PH strips have been getting me by. I think I have been able to stay in the ballpark with them. The feedings need to pick up. So what I am going to do is feed every other day. That will be 3xs a week. Then 1 day off to dry out. 9/6 two days of solid rain. 9/7 Another cloudy day. She was covered for the rain, but her fabric pot soaked up a bit of rain. So on 9/7 I'm feeding Foxfarm Open Sesame 1 teaspoon in one gallon of water. The pot is soaked, but that will not last in the sun. She needs more food than I been giving. After the gallon, I will let her dry a bit. Then give another solid feeding with a good amount of run off. For a moment I was wondering, if I was going to need to support for her in flower. Most of her branches are being pulled down. There is steady tension on them. If I were to cut the ropes, the branches would wip up, like a catapult. Her branches are way to strong to need support. I thought this plant was big last month. Her canopy is so large, I could use her as a big umbrella.
