During week 9 the flowering continued nicely and all plants developed nice flower crowns. Unfortunately I spotted some brown pistils on some plants and at this stage that only can mean they have been inseminated by pollen. Since I have no male plants around I thoroughly inspect the nodes of all plants from bottom to top. I am searching for hidden male pollen-sacks that have grown on my female plants and sure enough I find several ripe and open pollen sacks on three plants. This means those plants ARE HERMAPHRODITES, plants that have BOTH SEXES, they are female plants that also grow male pollensacks...my ABSOLUTE HORROR! The open pollen sacks have released pollen onto the female pistils around them and this turned the pistils brown. Where those fertilized pistils are, seeds will now start to grow inside the buds of my grow. 😢 After spraying water over the plants, in order to neutralize the free pollen inside, I carefully cut off the hermie-plants on the main stem right above the soil and immediately discard them far away from my grow-tent into the trash. Since I spotted the hermies early, I hope my grow will not be fully seeded, but only have a few seeds grow in some buds here and there. My fingers are crossed! My 'CHEESE'-plant from BIG BUDDHA SEEDS has turned a little yellow and developed some dark spots on the leaves, which I attribute to the plant standing alone in a tray now. She seems to be overfed a little and getting too much water to the roots. I therefore take her out of the water for a few days, in order to let the medium dry out a little and let the roots get some air. The SANlight EVO4-120 LED-lights work like a treat. They are now running at 100% dimm-level and are hung 30 cm above the top of the plants. The BIO NOVA nutrients are still given at half strength of the recommended dose and some plants seem to be overfed...I have to keep an eye on them.

Going nicely with this girl she is putting aome weight on at this point. It seems she has slowed on the tricome or desnt seem to be producing like it was. But compared to old pics i am wrong. She is lookong awesome its starting to really stink in here now. She gets 3 l of food every 2 days and ph is at 5.6-5.7. Buds are clearly swelling fat fat All is good

Ich hatte zu Anfang der Woche einen zu stark aktiven Boden Leben gehabt was dazu geführt hat dass der Wurzelbereich zu warm wurde und die Nährstoff Aufnahme hemmte. Wie kam das dazu?: In den Töpfen ist jeweils genug Wurmhumus enthalten. Ich habe eine weitere 0,5cm Schicht rauf gemacht und es mit FPJ Gurkenschalen gegossen. (War anscheinend zu viel, Temperaturen ging gut hoch) Bis zum 24.07.25 konnte ich nichts unternehmen als mit angesäuerten Gießwasser zu Gießen. Ph wert des Gießwassers war ca. 5,7. Täglich etwas gegossen. Am 25.07. Haben sich die Pflanzen erkenntlich erholt. Heute den 26.07. Konnte ich etwas entlauben und LST machen. Ab heute konnte ich wieder, das Licht von unten, mit blauen anteil anmachen. Diese Woche wurde nicht gedüngt, wegen dem aktiven Bodenstress.

Hello growmies! Welcome to week five of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! The girls are all at different early flowering stages, but they are only days apart from each other. I have a bit of a quandary now though, as I am no longer following the nutrient schedule as these plants are too fast for it. So I am unsure whether to start PK warrior or not yet. I have also realised I have probably underfed them in the last week or so, which to be honest isn't a big deal for me right now as they are already waaaaaaaaaaay bigger than expected. Let's talk about that a moment. This strain has an average height of 50-70cm. I wonder if those numbers were for soil grows? It seems for coco you will get even bigger plants. Case in point these six girls measured at 3pm 24/7 day 30 as follows: Plant 1: 111cm Plant 2: 99cm Plant 3: 90cm Plant 4: 89cm Plant 5: 85cm Plant 6: 84cm Plant 3 appears to have stopped stretching and is the most advanced into flower. Plant 4 is right behind it and has slowed down but not yet stopped stretching. Plant 2 is next in terms of flowering development her stretch is slowing. Plant 5 is still stretching rapidly and is coming to the end of preflower. No concern really at 85cm she has some room yet. Plant 6 is still stretching rapidly and is still in preflower. Slightly concerned despite her 84cm stature as she has been the most beefy looking plant all along, so I am expecting her to grow a good bit more. Plant 1 is still stretching rapidly and is still in preflower. Extremely very concerned about this one. The light is about as high as it can go. 111cm!! I have scoured the internet and the tallest Epsilon F1 I have found was 95cm. It's great that she is so happy this plant, but if she gets much taller I'm going to have to super crop her main cola. Whatever happens I am starting to dream of smashing my yield target out of the park, these girls are all impressive. Hard to believe they are just 30 days old. Plant 1: 126cm Plant 2: 107cm Plant 3: 93cm Plant 4: 94cm Plant 5: 97cm Plant 6: 96cm Plants 3 and 4 have stopped stretching now and are fully into flower. At 93cm and 94cm respectively, by the end of flower these girls may hit 1m but they wont go much more than that. Plant 2 looks to have just about stopped as well. It might go another 10cm overall. Plant 5 is still stretching but I think not much more. Plant 6 is still stretching and I am still expecting quite a bit of growth from her. Then there is plant 1. 126cm and still stretching. It has now grown beyond the height of the light. I hope it can somehow finish itself before it hits the top of the tent. I mean the secondary colas are over 1m already. It is a great shame this giant plant doesn't have more horizontal space to itself, either way it is absolutely shocking to see. I really do not want to super crop her, but am out of options. This grow, incidentally, constitutes the first and last time that I let any indoor cannabis plant go untrained. With basically 4 x 4 x 4 of usable space, training my plants is not really optional - and now you can all see why. This "50-70cm" strain has rapidly outgrown my space. RQS it may be time to revisit the height claims on this strain. Just saying. ### Week 5 Day 6 01:00 28/7 Rearranged the tent and photographed. I have been regularly rotating the plants and periodically moving them around. My problem is now plant one has already hit the top of the tent and there is no easy way to give it anymore space... still not sure what I am supposed to do but it's fine for now... tried to capture the problem with the photos. As well as plant 1, plant 6 looks like it's going to keep going for a good bit yet, and plant 2 is still putting a bit of height on. I took plenty of photos today to try and capture the essence of the jungle. It is quite unbelievable what these plants have done. I just cannot stop looking at them, they are magnificent. I have not fed for 4 days, will probably feed later I am just trying to slow them down a bit by not feeding them. It doesn't seem to be working. ### Week 5 Day 6 23:00 28/7 Defoliated heavily all plants. Fertigated 2l each. Removed some more lower side growth off the smallest plant (plant 3) to make space. Might leave it a few days before I photograph again. Plants 2, 3, and 4 are all well into flowering now, plant 5 is not far behind them, but plants 1 and 6 are still in preflower. :( What is really remarkable right now is the difference in colour between the plants further into flower vs the plants still in preflower. Harvest time for LSD! What an awesome strain, incredible fruity and citrus smell, amazing bud development and loaded with frost! Growing this strain was pure joy. Day 35 - few pics and vids..... everything going along nicely 👍 This is a pretty big update, so i'll add to it over the next few days, as i finish building it all.... i'm building these 2 x SS haze, the full tent, just finishing up the setup..... trimming them, changing solutions to 12/12 and flower..... changed the exhaust fan and filter setup to the better outside the tent method.... and installed 12v CPU computer fan, lol ("alta9" fits in 4in ducting perfectly), drops wattage on extractor fan.... 10w tops... got a few kg of active carbon and making/replacing the carbon filter .... i'll add afew vids of the new setup in afew days... Day 36 - few pics/vid of new tent setup...... "alta 9" fan :) post tomorrow after i finish trimmin and settin up night mode etc...... and into tomorrow we go, lol ... Day 37.... slowly getting there..... little bit more to go... this should make things abit more interesting..... right tank (short babie) has : 19 lts of tap water @18oC + 150 ml -dutch master one gold FLOWER.... 6.4 PH - 1400 PPM left tank has : 19 lts of tap water @18oC + 50 ml of elements a and 50ml of b and 10 ml of nitro and 20ml of Crystalic (molasses/pot) .... 6.5 PH - 1200 PPM more pics / vids of the finished tent setup.... roots, transfer, etc... Day 37 is alot of vids of the clean and change to flower..... edit - day after build noticed left tank (nutrifield) not enough bubbles..... pulled out the 4 air pump and swapped to the 2 x original oxipumps... much better, also to fix the problem with ph goin high, and bubbles not stirin the mix, was to add another 10ml of crystallic and another 5ml of nitro... then pumped both tanks with ph down and set em to 5.8-6.2 - both plants have fully recovered from the big trim, and bounced back within 12-24hrs, post pics/vid in abit..... Day 39 - made a freaky video... was curious about what the plants would see looking up at the lights... the lights and buzzing of air compressors and bubbling tank water, and dazzling lights turned out pretty cool in vid editor, was in selfie mode.... and final vid of the bounceback from trim :) 👍😎

No signs of nutrient deficiencies, or diseases have been observed. A light defoliation was performed during this week. This practice will help the plant focus its energy on the upper buds, leading to better yield and quality in the upcoming weeks. The plant has been fed according to the BioBizz nutrient schedule, specifically following the guidelines for week 2 of the flowering stage. The nutrients provided include BioBizz Bio-Bloom, Bio-Grow, and Top-Max, which have been carefully measured and administered to support the plant’s transition into full flowering. Both were growing like absolute champs! I decided to top really early. i follow basementganjas rules, i will only top autos if they grow like champs, trunksize 3mm, 99% healthy, sidenodes have substantial grow, and are between days 12-16. i topped these on day 12, mainly because at the rate they were growing, i feared they were to put too much time and energy into the top nodes i planned on removing. Also, it would be interesting to see how they handled it. AND BOY, handled it, they did! The 600 ml Dosage of water and nutes from Day 6 lasted all the way to Day 11. On Day 11, i added 1 ml/L of Bio Grow from Biobizz and watered both of them with 1 Liter of tapwater, ph'd down to between 6,2 - 6.3. As mentioned, even though the sidenodes were a tad small for my likings, they did not seem to care. see next week for the further progress!

Questa settimana ho deciso di cambiare lampada tornando ad usare una vecchia hps che usavo prima, e ho notato che i risultati sono ottimi, con la lampada a LED sembrava che la fioritura stesse durando un'eternità, perciò ho provato a cambiare per vedere se la fioritura potesse velocizzarsi e sembra essere così. AGGIORNAMENTO: Giorno 8 NOVEMBRE, ho dato una bella sfoltita a tutte le bimbe, credo che questa sia l'ultima volta che le tocco anche perché questa volta ho eliminato alcuni rami veramente inutili e superflui.
