🌱 Week 3, Day 7 Update: Buds Are Blooming! 🌿 Hey Grow Fam, We're cruising through Week 3, and my girl is really coming on—buds are starting to form, and it's a sight to behold! The girl is growing so fast now, drinking 4.5L a day. She could even do with in-between waterings, in my opinion. She's aiming for the stars and shooting for the moon, getting bigger every day and stinking out my room. I had to tie my light higher up with some rope as it wouldn't go any higher, and shoots were getting way too close! I did SCROG when flipping, and I should've been a bit more strict on it (did it longer), but now I realize why SCROG is used. Imagine if I never used it—she would be way too tall. Overall, I'm so happy with how she is growing and can't wait to see the final product. :) But, as with any journey, we've hit a little bump in the road. Despite keeping our feeding consistent at 850ppm, the runoff readings have been creeping up. Last check-in showed a runoff of 1400ppm. It's got me thinking we might be dealing with a salt buildup in the root zone. To address this, I'm sticking with our feeding routine at 800-850ppm. If the runoff ppm keeps climbing or if our plants start showing signs of nutrient burn, I will adjust accordingly, but as of right now, I'm sticking to the same feed as she looks great! ( If I do begin to notice signs of nutrient burn (excess), I will try to water with a lower EC/PPM, like 700ppms, to bring it down. But if I don't get the results I'm hoping for, I will just flush the plant with 3x the media size of water (just plain pH water) to wash out any old salts and reset the medium. You don't really want to do this with coco depending on what stage your at in flower, veg on the other hand flush.? Sure!, if you really need to reset that medium go for it, (i do see tiny signs of burn but thats fine if it gets worse then i have a problem) Let's stay focused and keep our eyes on the prize—beautiful healthy buds. So, they streched a lot, I had to bend severely. And so quick, like 5 cms in a day! They touch the light, I had no more room... I did a late FIM on 2 of them.... emergency I finally found a way to get the lamp 5 cms higher. Lukily it has stabilized but still, top of the buds are at 5 cms from light!!!! That's why I decided to drop the power at 50% and I lower the day light to 16 hours.

04/22/2021 Day 3 into week 3 I am feeding some 5-1-1 fish emulsion at 2 tbls to a gallon. It will be her last bit of nitrogen she will get. Praying for big buds.

(Log date week 7, day 49) So this week was a mixed bag, Tuesday started off with me finding a spider web on one of the lower fan leaves on my Hulkberry plant and noticed some bite marks on some of Fat Banana. In my haste to give rid of the spider mites, i caused some minor wind damage to some of the fan leaves on Hulkberry which caused some copper spotting and a stunted Fat banana cola. After i correctly treated both plants for spider mites and wind damage, they both bounced back and started to recover quite nicely. I also noticed a difference between topping these plants at different times; i topped fat banana when it had 4 cola's but i waited until hulkberry's roots reached to the bottom of my 5gal bucket and she had 8 cola's. A BIG difference in their recovery and overall structure, where fat banana jump out the gate with explosive veg growth and hulkberry struggled for two weeks just to develop it's first set of fan leaves. To now whereas hulkberry is much bigger, greener and bushier than fat banana. Hulkberry has responded much better to the additional stress whereas fat banana has struggled or stalled due to the stressful conditions. All in all wasn't too bad of a week, except for the power going out for a couple of hours on Saturday which raised my grow-room temperature to 90f, i was able to put out a couple of fires this week without any adverse long term effects. I also topped hulkberry on the last day of the week and I'm going to continue to feed them Technfloa at the full recommended strength since they have both responded very well to last week's formula. as always my pic are in chronological order Mr. O.G.T

These babies were planted on 4/2, popped soil on 4/5, first feeding 4/6, fed again 4/7, looking great, loving their environment so far. Day 65 and she looks sexyyy! Love how this girl thrives in this chilli conditions. She is realy showing some naughty purple pink colours on her booty. Will be starting to flush this girl this week. Sour diesel and northern lights are ready to be chopped. I will put them in the basement in the dark for at least a day before I cut them down. The clone from the expert haze had to be tossed because I found spider mites on it and then found them on my expert haze plant outdoors. I shouldn’t have brought the clone inside, oops I will not be making another clone of this plant. I have found caterpillars all over everything and didn’t want to spray the buds with pesticides so every day a couple of times a day I would remove them. They eat a lot so I don’t have as much production at harvest. I will be more aggressive with the expert haze with pest control.

Final product is been absolutely amazing on these clones - the jungle came out about average but the clones definitely exceeded expectations there absolute fire in comparison but still just as good hopefully I can just improve a few issues we had on this run and dial right in 100% will be so much better, next few run is going to be special I’ve got a few things lined up. From tester packs to breeders packs I can hunt from. So lots to choose from but what to keep to run will be interesting

D22. Defoliated, gave plain RO water and dimmed the light. Next is auto irrigation. D23. Finally received all of the Athena nutrients and fed for the first time. D25. Removed the small runt plant with the twisted stem. The plant started growing pollen sacks. D26. Raised light as much as I could without using zip ties. PPFD now 650-790. EC tonight 2.4.

Having a blast sharing more content lately—I’m in the zone with editing and creating, so get ready for even more shares! 🌡️ Environmental Control and Fine-Tuning the Reservoir pH Temps this week have been holding around 27.2°C with RH at 65.2% and CO2 at 800 ppm, creating a VPD of 1.26 for ideal flower development. The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. Harvest on day 94 340G wet weight(with stems and leaves) Left it dry for 8 days at 24-28° C 45-60% RH. Wanted to dry more but it was already done at a week. After trimming got 62 Grams of dense buds. The buds are super frosty and sticky Smell is quit present but will wait for curing for that. Smoked some of small buds before curing and wow the high is amazing

Really loved this plant and how it grew other then the fox tails, Unfortunately I had to move this weekend and just couldn’t continue growing her and moving at the same time. She still had a good 1-2 weeks left but what is there looks really good will update when she finishes drying.
