Start of week 3; increased PAR from 250 to 280 for the autos, 300 is still too much for them to handle as they’re clocking out early with that amount lol!

👋 Here I am with 5 Nori cake seedlings, I want to grow 3 plants of this variety, I will keep the prettiest seedlings and continue the adventure with them🙏🌲 After a short week of growth I place my seedlings in their final 7Liters pot with a mixture that I made. I use unfertilized soil as a base. And I add organic nutrients from GreenHouseFeeding that I mix at the top of the pot (35Grams BioGrow 14Grams Biobloom) Then I water each pot with 1L of water. I use tap water. Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. Wow she over doubled in height this week growing 20cm! But take a look at the video I took. She has 3x stalks!!!!!!!! One stalk has split, then split again! I have not topped/fimmed this at all. No training. Possibly the stress she suffered in her second week has triggered this? Not sure but she looks healthy enough so far! Also just entering flowering I think.

Grew well. Got some lovely fade and the buds are rock hard with a low leaf-calyx ratio. Tbh, I'm not a major fan. It's powerful. But, its a very very dank rozay scent. Overpowering so. Like, that's the only smell taste I can get. Again, the rating system isn't great. If it gets better taste wise I'll for sure make a comment.. don't get me wrong. It's nice, very nice. Just when put in comparison to the other 3 Original Sensible Seed grows, she falls short for me. Again lovely smoke. Just don't the taste I like. The Pink Rozay x Strawberry Banana Auto was lovely combo. But, this is just too much Rozay. It's banging of it. Actually smells like a very strong Rozay wine. More on that later and the high. Which is the reason its getting 9☆ which is still pretty high. Dear grow community, I report back with the 3rd week of my Royal Gorilla grow. They have shot up and show no defficiencies or flaws. I will start using LST in the 4th week. You will see results in 7 days. Best wishes Abslolutgrow

Hello Friends 👋🏾 I had a few problems with nutrient deficiency as you could see last week, I managed to solve the issue. I started feeding them nutrients again, as they really started growing fast. I did a lot of defoliation and lollipoping today, as I want the plant to focus all its energy to the top. They drink roughly 3-4L every 3-4 days, I increased my VPD to 1.3 and will go up to 1.4 in 2 weeks, shortly before flushing. I’ll lower the feeding to 2L and will check how long it lasts. Thanks for all your advice and feedback so far ☺️ I appreciate every single one following my journey

May 2nd: She seems to be growing strong. She's trying to grow vertically! Just natural well water. Light intensity is at 75%. No nutes, yet.

420Fastbuds FBT2304 Week 8 Week 8 update on these two beautiful girls. They both appear to be growing great even though they're different in size and structure. The flower sites are swelling up as nicely as one could expect. So will keep up the same routine of nutes every 3rd watering. All in all Happy Growing

This is a purple haze clone I received on 3/23. She has been topped and trained in prep 4 scrog!! She received her first @gaiagreenorganics all purpose 4-4-4 feeding on 4/23. Also installed scrog on 4/23. She received her second dose of 4-4-4 on 5/23. Installed Marshydro tsw2000 on 5/31. I used some lollipopping to boost the growth of the main colas. In the first 3 pics above you can see the difference between the two different sized pots. The 20 lt ones have more space to grow and produce a more branched and complex structure.
