Temps were hard to control this week due to a heat wave and the fact I'm in a basement with no AC. I put the fans in the tent on too high a setting pointed right at the plants and they ended up with some wind stress which can be seen in the pics affecting the new growth. Bought a 6 inch inline fan to beef up the exhaust for the tent and this seems to have helped a lot. I moved the tent to its final location to allow access to ventilation so I can pipe the smell outside when the flowering starts. I started low stress training on both plants this week. I decided not to top either plant but I will for the next grow to see how it affects yields. I also fixed the other viovsun tent that had a broken zipper track and only one slider. Hopefully I can use it in the future for flowering photoperiod plants.

Weekly update: August 6th Looking great, major spurt of growth on both girls, #1 (sativa leaning girl) had major final stretch to end off stretch in 3 days (hopefully). And #2 (stockier indica leaning pheno) has had a big increase in flower size in 3 days which is promising, and is also producing a very sweet and tropical fruity gas smell, this is TCP after all! Oh yea and I’m running about 1700 center 500 outer ppfd and tapering down if I see anything but nothing so far all good nice genetics, may drop in the next week even if no signs or symptoms, to prevent and not be too greedy. Now for the not so good… been getting 10% runoff almost every feed, but my runoff of #1 was 3500ppm and pH 4.5 and #2 at 5000ppm and pH 4.5. Been giving around 850 ppm input at pH 6.0, never went over 1000ppm input. So I have to correct with 25% increase in feed volume, 300-400ppm input at pH 7.0 for what I infer to be 2-3 feeds until runoff ppm is significantly lower, and pH is at least 5.5. UPDATE Aug 8: To address the toxic/locked-out root-zone I did a regular feed with runoff (1.5 gal total volume per pot @ 820ppm bloom focus), runoff consisted of pH 4.2-4.5 and 4000-6000ppm... OUCH. I then fertigated with 0.5 gal plain pH 6.5-7 dechlorinated tap water each. I repeated this a total of 3 times, to which the last flush had 3 ml/gal cal-mag. final runoff ppm @ 1000-2000, pH 5.3-5.5. To conclude, I more than likely wasn't achieving enough runoff per scheduled feed, and did not cycle a few plain pH adjusted waterings. I had almost the same thing happen last run with autos, except they were showing signs of lockout, these photo girls are not. I must do a regular watering every 3 feeds, achieve 20% runoff with high ppm feeds, and 15% runoff at least with mild to moderate ppm's. Lesson learned, I hope I get a full run in the future without hiccups like this. Very strong weed I am curing right now so when I tried it the taste was not good But the smell is exactly as advertised And it’s very strong 💪 First time I try Barney’s farm and they were great no complaints I would grow orange sherbet again. I will update in a month about taste I’m sure it will be killer Thanks for stopping in.

Esa familia , ya va quedando menos para cortar estas hermanitas skunk de Zambezaseeds, tienen algo de sobre fertilización de las últimas semanas pero llevamos solo agua 2 semanas. Ph regulado en 6,5 . Humedad por debajo del 40% , temperatura algo alta al trabajar con sodio pues en esta época sube vaya. Así que esto tenemos y las flores se ven bastante compactas. Nos vemos la semana que viene fumetillas.

Update Tag 5 von Woche 6 16.05.2012 19.00 Uhr. Belichtung umgestellt auf 12/12. Gezählt hab ich über 50 Köpfchen. Ich bin wirklich gespannt. Der 8 Liter Stofftopf ist wirklich super. Keine Ahnung warum viele damit nicht klar kommen. Beim nächsten Grow werden nur noch Stofftöpfe verwendet. Die White Widows x Big Bud sind wirklich robust und Anfängerfreundlich. Alles in allem sieht es doch ganz gut aus.

well I overfed boom and veg dry amendments waited 2 weeks instead of 4, by accident. I now have a K potassium toxicity which will always express as a magnesium deficiency. The salts side would flush the pot at this point, However, I am organic and instead I am going to give the plant the magnesium it is looking for allowing it to process the K faster. This should resolve the issue without flushing. If you have to flush an organic soil then its pretty much just wasted mix it into fresh mix at least 50/50 and start again. Basically flushing is not an option in organics.

Week 14, Week 14 was the last week before Harvest/Havrest! I flushed the plant and trimmed her a bit before harvest. I hope you all enjoy the videos and the pics!

Final Week – Late Flower The final week was essentially a clean finish to the run. The buds swelled further, becoming dense and well structured. Despite the ongoing mildew issue, the situation remained controlled and never spiraled out of hand. Lowering nighttime humidity below 50 % clearly helped slow down further spread. The focus was on maintaining stable conditions and consistently removing affected leaves. Overall, the positives clearly outweigh the negatives: strong plants, solid bud development, and very relaxed handling thanks to Biotabs and the automatic irrigation system. Now it’s simply about finishing strong and harvesting.

I've overwatered 😬 Moved outside on the balcony a few hours to take some direct sun with a fan pointing the pots trying to dry it as much as I can.

A Day after switching to 12/12 the first Def came along😅 gave them a shot of Canna trace mix and some cal/mag. To be continued 😜

ITA: siamo giunti quasi alla fine del viaggio. Ho tolto tutta la soluzione presente nel sistema e l'ho sostituita con acqua del rubinetto senza sali. Le piante resteranno così dai 2 ai 4 giorni per il lavaggio delle radici. Insieme all'acqua ho utilizzato Flora Kleen (ex flush kleen) della GHE, a concentrazione di 2ml al litro. La raccolta si avvicina!!!! edit: ho finalmente raccolto le piante ma che fatica ragazzi! In 4 ci abbiamo messo tutto il pomeriggio e le prime ore della sera per finire di trimmare!! Ho tagliato le piante ramo per ramo in modo che l'essiccazione sia più veloce. Ho appeso i rami in una box 80x80cm con all'interno un deumidificatore e un estrattore da 10mm. L'umidità oscilla dal 48% al 55%, direi ottimo! Aggiornerò il diario dopo aver pesato le cime secche e dopo alcune settimane di concia per la smoke review ENG: we have almost reached the end of the journey. I removed all the solution in the system and replaced it with salt-free tap water. The plants will remain in this way for 2 to 4 days for washing the roots. Starting week 6 of flower on this beautiful Forbidden Runtz Auto from FastBuds. She is really starting to look beautiful and has been a very easy grow so far! She is slowly starting to fatten up now and really starting to display some amazing fruity aromas! More updates soon... Day 78 we removed some more damaged leaves and a few that were blocking lower sites as well. Day 81 we removed a few more leaves. She is definitely yellowing faster than I would like at this stage but we are gonna ride it out!
