Day 73 11/09/24 Wednesday (END OF QUARANTINE) De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only today. Now I have put them to finish underground a 600w hps under 12/12 schedule with the Divine Black opium. Luckily no more mould has spread, and all plants look happy healthy and still developing. Surf Purp Week 6 Flower The last week before flush. All nutrients apart from PK and sugars have been stopped. This brought the ppm/EC down, plus Remo Bloom was reduced slightly now they're not so hungry. With that being said I'm still using a lot more with this line than I'm used to. Only because the remo nutrients feeding chart lists them so strong, which I'm already a lot lower than. In future I'll try reducing them and see how they cope and perform, but that's just part of dialing it in to your own specific set up. Now that they're close to flush they're starting to get slightly more pale, with #2 and #4 showing some purpling too. This is because they are slowly coming to the end of their cycle, so they no longer need heavy feedings and are now eating less and beginning to cannibilise. They're all very frosty and giving off an insane amount of smell. At this point I'm more or less certain that #4 is a keeper, with the most unique terpene profile out of the 4 females. It smells like rotting candy/fruit with a lot of gas ⛽ it's also a close call between #1&2, as they're very similar to each other yet so different to #4. These two have the sweetest, most pungent smell of blueberries but with very slight differences between them that could change more throughout flush (and even after drying and curing). The keeper from these two will more than likely be decided after drying and curing. One or two of the main cola's on #4 are way too close to the light, with one top bud showing clear signs of burning. When you look closely, parts of the burns are brown as you would expect, and others are bleached white. These are both from heat and light damage, and aren't ideal. But, it's only the one bud on one plant so I'm not going to stress over it. In fact, she's smelling that incredible that you wouldn't even know! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🦊

4/24/2023 - Day 57: Start to week 9 of flower. Turned my portable AC on in my lung room to bring temps down. Running at about 76° with the lights on and about 68° for lights out. Also, still running the light at 80% power. Starting to see more purple, and just waiting for everything to ripen up. They are really putting off some strong scents now as well. 4/25/2023 - Day 58 Flower: watered with 4 gallons mixed with Coconut Powder. 4/27/2023 - Day 60 Flower: they are all starting to fade. Mainly seeing purple still. They still need another few weeks until they are where I want them. 4/29/2023 - Day 62 Flower: they continue to fade to a nice purple and the smell when I open the tent is fruity gas. They are not drinking as much anymore. Taking an extra day or two between waterings. 4/30/2023 - Day 63 Flower: watered 4 gallons of water mixed with 1 tbsp Coconut Powder. Also, took a close look at the tricomes today. They are mainly all cloudy, with maybe 5% amber at this point. Still think I have another two weeks before I'll be ready to harvest.

Okay sooooo big big sighhhh! I’ve been dreading making this post so I’m sorry I’m behind 2 weeks. I had to go outta town for 8 days. I had everything set up for my brother to take care of the plants. It was a really hot week the week I was gone and these plants were taking a beating and started to get burnt from the heat! One plant died and I’m super sad about it. But we living and learning out here! I have tried to trim the dead leaves without taking too many fan leaves off so I don’t shock em more. All last week was surviving giving the plants a little over a gallon of water a day! Doing some of the nutrients every day but not all. I like to run water in Between the nutrients. But with coco coir I’m not too sure if it’s needed. “Learning over here” so ya thankfully it’s been cooling down and I’ve learned some new tricks to cool the tent off! I got a air water cooler that’s blowing cold air into the tent and my 6” duct sucking out hot air. Things are looking better! One more week with nutritions then a week of flush and Harvest is what I’m thinking. Any suggestions thoughts or ideas for me! I’d appreciate it!

We have officially started low stress training this girl on June 29th. The second video is on Friday July 1st within two days she grew a good amount . As you can see in the second video she suffered a little light burn. My mistake I didn’t think she was big enough to get burnt by the light but when I went to adjust her stakes I noticed she got burnt. So I quickly fixed it and put the light farther away.

The air stone clogging up a week and some ago stopped this plant in its tracks when rot set in. Another lesson learned to change air stone mid way in grow. Especially for photoperiods. She still has some bud on her. I switched her to water and she is ripening. She grew well under the Spider Farmer SE5000 light, in a New Level Hydro bucket.
