On day 36, the lighting regime was changed to 12 hours of light. Everything goes on schedule, the plant looks very healthy. I'm satisfied:) This is my first plant that grows so well. The leaves are just perfect. Based on the result, I will be adjusting the substrate with nutrient additives.

Day 57 this little lady last weekend showed up with some burning on the leaves but I’m. Not really sure it was an excess of nutrient, signals of a deficiency of K and P are also visible. So I just gave oh controlled water with regulator and enzym+ and some calmag, now everything looks fine and i ‘ m sure I t will be great this week. Tomorrow, feeding day! Day 59 lady si farting up every day, I’ve been feeding her the last two days. The yellow on the leaves is just because of a water deficiency from the last week, I wanted my lady to absorb everything I gave. On day 57 I gave 1 lt but it was too dry, so on day 58 I gave her another lt and she took it all with PH 6,2 and PPM 1000z I think I’ve got 20/25 day max left so this will be the last week of fertilising from Day 70 I’ll start mi flush. Day 62 today feeding day I finally get my p-boost and k-boost from aptus. She drunk 1 lt with ph 6,1 and ppm 1090 Let’s see🌱🌱🌱🔥🔥

Day 64 she’s so heavy that I have to have her on hangers. She didn’t get watered yesterday so she is throwing a hissy fit but she’s already perked back up. I’m excited to have her get chopped down and get her jarred up.

The plant is thriving as it enters its 11th week of flowering. The buds have developed beautifully, and they’re giving off a sweet, lemony aroma that fills the grow space. It’s a scent that’s both refreshing and promising, making me excited for the final product. At this stage, everything looks great, and I’ve decided to start flushing the plant with clear water only. This should help remove any residual nutrients and ensure a smoother, cleaner smoke. I’m planning to continue flushing for the next one to two weeks before harvesting. I’m really looking forward to seeing how this plant turns out. The buds are dense and sticky, and if the smell is any indication, the end result should be amazing. SUMMARY: Its finally time to start the flush and I'm aiming to flush for 2 weeks. I started the flush on day 95 flushing with tap water straight from the hose. I’ve heard you’re supposed to flush with 3x the container volume, however that would be around 57 litres for a 5 gallon pot which seems absurd. I didn’t record the amount but I took my time and flushed with at least 30 litres. I am now continuing to water twice daily until harvest aiming for 20-30% runoff each time. I water once of a morning around 11:00 giving roughly 2-2.5L and again of an evening around 18:00 giving a further 2.5-3L. DAY 93 ----------- Friday 26th March 18:30 I fed Jesus 3L of late bloom nutes which produced 740ml runoff (25%). [26°C/48%] DAY 94 ----------- Saturday 27th March 18:30 I fed Jesus its last ever feeding, 3L of late bloom nutes which produced 560ml runoff (19%). [26°C/48%] DAY 95 ----------- Sunday 28th March 18:30 I flushed Jesus with tap water straight from the hose. Harvested a week early because of bud rot caused by calcium deficiency. I did a triple wash with hydrogen peroxide, baking soda and plain water to rinse. Note for future Coco needs a lot of calcium and magnesium. With constant drip system you need way less nutrients in solution. Check PH if you use calcium sulfate or silica!!! Once cured the weed has a good nutty smell with a little berry. It’s not very resinous, it has a good mind numbing effect but doesn’t lost more than one hour for 3/4 puffs, this is because of early harvest for sure because my previous crop was lot more potent.

Day 79: Fertigated 10l Day 81: Hello growmies and welcome to week 12 for Poppy, the Purple OG Punch Auto from Super Sativa Seed Club. I have unfortunately failed in the competition due to it ending while I was moving house. 0 for 2 is not a good record, but then I am a newbie not an award winning grower so perhaps I should temper my expectations somewhat. Anyway, Poppy has stopped stretching and is swelling those tasty looking buds. No sign of any purple yet but I have my fingers crossed that I will wake up one day and she will be blue! Hah. I can't move the plants out of the tent now due to size and bud weight. So will do my best to make good in-tent photos.

23/01/22: Plants are really tall and flowering well with lots of bud sites - pistils are long and prominent - the beginnings of the trichomes are starting to spread onto the leaves to make them sugar leaves. all looknig very healthy - the ventilation system in this tent is great with an intake fan and two circulation fans. ideal temperatures - looking very well. average around 36 inches in height the largest one is around 47 inches.

I turned my light to 100 % on the dimmer and raised a few more inches! ♥️ I think i'm finally starting to dial things in, I am pretty happy with how everything is going, I 100000x believe for my other grows I was underfeeding HARDCORE. I am such a stoner sometimes, turns out my measuring syringe was 3ML instead of 30ML??? LOL wow idiot on my part..... but obviously giving them what they need now! ♥️ SO i'm going to add Big Bud next feed, but i'm not sure if I should do a flush before hand? I know this line can have pretty hard salt build up... So any suggestions plz! :) ♥️ Other news is, the roots are just creeping hard out of the drainage holes! I can see the roots also trying to escape the top soil, for me this is so exciting! My last grows the roots sucked hard. I might be exploring hydro next grow in 2021.. I have someone who is willing to give me a setup because they upgraded to a cabinet! We shall see! Estuve un tiempo sin actualizar el diario porque me contagie de COVID, ahora un poco mejor vuelvo a actualizar. Flower58, las plantas están listas para la cosecha, en uno o 2 días empezaré a cortar y colgar para su secado. Drying, secando con parámetros de humedad de 60% a 16°c por aproximadamente 2 semanas, están a 2 o 4 días de estar listas para pasarlas a frascos y ver cuánta cantidad final se logró.

I originally started this diary only for my own reference but I'm so pleased to have learned that others have found it helpful or interesting, for whatever reason. So, without further ado: Jan 19 Day 105 Harvest day! 🎉🎉 Not really knowing how to tackle the situation, I started by cutting all of the fan leaves I was able to reach. Then, I cut each branch working from the perimeter inward - which due to the way she grew, was essentially the same as working from the bottom branches of the meristem to the top. Each branch was cut, cleaned, and handled individually before moving on to the next. Decided to wet-trim most of the branches, leaving 4 fairly untouched (only fan leaves were removed). Will be interested to see the differences, if any. They're all drying/hanging near the grow tent ~45%RH, 72F (22C). It isn't completely dark though, as some light is escaping the tent into the closet where they are hanging. I'm hoping this isn't terrible but I'll be keeping my eye on them. The process took the better part of an evening but I was cautiously learning, taking breaks, and generally being fairly slow. I'm sure I'll be faster and more confident next time. Jan 27 Day 113 Drying is complete, I think. Branches were hung and dried for 8 days in a consistent 68F (20C) 40% RH. They were determined to be dried after hearing a snap when bending (not breaking) large stems and buds felt dry to touch. Sugar leaves bordering on crispy while buds still had some give / fluffiness. The flowers from previously manicured branches were relatively easily plucked. However, the dry trimming process for the unmanicured branches proved to be a bit of a pain. They have been placed in a pyrex container to cure. I'm hoping flavors and aromas that are currently lacking will develop in time. 🤞 --- Stats --- Veg time: ~45 days. Flowering time: ~60 days. Height ~18in., ~46cm. Main Bud Length: ~9in., 23cm. Harvested 16 Hangable branches and a few extra medium/small buds. Bud Wet Weight, with stems: 242g, ~8.5oz. Larf/Popcorn Sugar-leaf Wet Weight (not counted above): 18g, ~0.6oz. Leaf/Waste Wet Weight: 38g, ~1.3oz. Drying time: 8 days. Dried Weight with Stems: 70g, ~2oz. Trimmed and Dried Total Bud Weight: 50g, ~1.75oz. --- Thoughts in hindsight --- Firstly, I can't believe I haven't tried growing sooner. So rewarding in so many ways! My initial hope was to harvest an oz., so I am obviously quite happy we could surpass that mark by a good margin. This is a testament to the plant more than me of course, as I was completely inexperienced and was purposefully as hands-off as I could be comfortable with throughout her growth. I can only imagine things will improve with time. Paper-towel germination seems to be prone to more stress for myself and arguably the seedling as well. Floating in 1% H2O2 solution seems to be ideal for me. I made bad soil choices. This mixture seemed to be too dense, leading to some watering/strangulation issues mid-growth. My 2nd grow consisting of mostly coco coir seems healthier and seems easier to maintain proper hydration. Coco might also be reusable while this soil definitely seems spent now. I didn't respect pH at first and initial testing was eye-opening. That said, after simply testing water and fertilizer readings a few times, I gradually felt more comfortable with guestimating during most feedings, only testing sporadically later in her life cycle. This seemed to be fine and was a bit of a relief after early testing proved tedious every feed. I've been happy with Better-Gro orchid fertilizer. This is of course contrary to most advice, which I admit is probably for good reason. That said though, I didn't notice any major toxicities or deficiencies during her grow. So, these products seem to have worked for me and are so much more affordable than cannabis-specific fertilizers. I was quite weary about not having cal-mag, but this never seemed to be an issue in this particular case. However, I'll be keeping a similar eye on my 2nd grow in coco, which I understand may need it. Training and pruning is important. This plant was quite bushy and wild likely resulting in quite a bit of unnecessary larf/popcorn. Not to mention the additional time needed to trim when harvesting. Also regarding training, pipe cleaners can leave noticeable cuts in the stem they hold. Thickly coated flexible garden wire would likely be ideal. I need to get a loupe or magnifying attachment for the phone. Digital zoom with shaky hands is not great for checking trichomes and my 3x magnifying glass just doesn't cut it. I cannot speak toward potency or yield without more experience, but simply for the sake of a greener hue, I think I could've harvested her a week earlier. Because I left a few branches untended during dry, I was able to experience both the wet and dry trimming processes. Unless keeping leaves for extra humidity during drying, I seem to prefer wet trimming as the still supple leaves were easier to remove with less bud handling. Esta semana ya ha concluido el stretching, y las plantas ya tienen una altura considerable. I did a lot of defoliation work this week. Plants look very naked now. 😻 But more light for the buds 😛 = Less leaves = less water (-25%) The plants don't make many few new flowers anymore. Half of the plants have nice fat buds, swelling and getting hard. 💪 Pistils turn brown. The other half is much slower ripening. Some have foxtail buds and will need more time to ripen. 👻 Some plants are very small and will have low yield. 😏 One plant (#15) is extremely fat 😝
