~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2202 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 1/19- Here we go into Week Four of flower and these testers are ON FIRE!🔥🔥🔥 Both testers are in a flower frenzy and are ready to eat! Today I gave both girls their last top dressing with Down To Earth 4-8-4 Flower Mix at a ratio of 2tbsp/g and Coast of Maine's Stonington Blend 5-2-4 Organic Plant Food at a ratio of 1tbsp/g which I simplified by using 1/3 cup of the 4-8-4 and 1/4 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 4g pot and 3/8 cup of 4-8-4 and 1/8 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 3g pot. After working the amendments into the medium, I watered it in with 1g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. It will take a week for the microbes to begin breaking it down and will last for 3-4 weeks after that which should coincide with them finishing up, or close to it, enabling them to naturally 'flush' themselves out. The #1 tester that has had the weird coloring and leaf texture is a beast @ 26" tall and I'm happy that she's come around! In my experience, more times than not I've had plants with issues when they started and debated yanking them but let them stay and all, and I mean every one, have turned out to be epic. I guess it's just dumb luck, or the fact I hate to kill any plants if I don't have to! 😎💚 The # 2 is doing exceptional as well and is beginning to get some purple coloration of the leaves in her flowers! I've also increased the power to the HLG 650R's the the Trolmaster Hydro X Controller to 75% which has them pulling 990w at the wall and have them hung 32" above canopy. I also starting adding in 4 hours of UVA during the middle of the light cycle for the remainder of flower. I've been monitoring their leaf temperatures and they're running 71-73℉ which is perfect! I have the AutoPilot APC8200 co2 Controller set to 1100ppm with a 100ppm window and the AC Infinity Cloudline T6 controller set to maintain a 74℉ temperature in the tent while the lights are on. 1/21- I'm watering these thirsty girls daily with straight de-chlorinated water ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉ and they're both thriving! The #2 pheno stays in a perpetual state of 'praying'.... a VERY happy girl she is and the #1 is showing signs of purple coloration in her flowers! 1/23- I watered/fed both testers today with 0.75g of de-chlorinated water each with GreenGro's Natures Brix, Granular Myco and Flower Finisher mixed in, after which I added 1 tsp/g of unsulfured molasses and then ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉. They'll be getting straight water from here moving forward as the medium has enough food in it to support them until they finish. 1/25- Daily watering continued today with both girls receiving 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. OMG they're both looking fantastic with both looking tall and proud with a beautiful purple coloration expressing in their flowers and even into the leaves of the #2! I'm really looking forward to Week Five of flower where these ladies should really start to strut their stuff! 😍💚 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Hey farmers, It's day 107 and I'm going to call it done, there's a few amber trichomes and she could probably go ANOTHER week but I need my flower tent. This plant went way overtime, and I made a lot of mistakes, but she smells great and one thing is for sure, I'll have a ton of weed in a few weeks. So, this week I flushed and next week I will harvest, the next update to this diary will be post dry, but before cure. As tradition, I'll have a sneaky taste before putting her in jars. For my next cycle I will be upgrading my lights to Mars Hydro FCE 3000, going from 150w to a whopping 300w. I'll probably get a 3x3 in the near future, too. As always, stay safe and happy farming!

Fantastic growth again the past week , the PE is chunking up incredibly , she’s become sticky to touch and smells like Pepe Le Pew gone troppo , shes the smaller of the two and will likely finish a few weeks before her gorilla Zkittles room mate . The GS is going to be a monster, that triploid mutation is something to behold in terms of how big this girl is . Not only is she big but she’s beautiful, frosty already, sticky and an amazing fruity aroma . These girls have had a blessed life so far with zero set backs , I had to put a few yellow sticky things in the pots as we ended up with a few of those little flies . I’d obviously over watered a bit when I transitioned from 48hr feeds to 24hour but I think I’ve sorted out where I need to be moving forward. Check out the vid if you have time , it really shows just how much bud there is on these two .

Another wonderful problem free week for my Black Jack Auto! Some lower leaves have faded and dried out. And now some of the top leaves are starting to fade a bit. No crazy colors yet, but I'm keeping the tent a bit cooler and crossing my fingers. No nutrients this week. Runoff ppm is around 1100 so I think she should be fine until finishing. She got crazy frosty this week. Her lemon smell has gotten much more complex. At the forefront now it smells like Fruity Pebbles (artificially fruit flavored puffed rice cereal) Lemon-lime and brand new leather shoes 🤷‍♂️ I am addicted to sniffing this plant. The nugs are swelling well now and I anticipate harvesting in week 11 or 12. Thanks for following along.

This weeks been great besides the heat 😬 had some good cooler days that allowed me to really cool down the tent and get a good vpd reading at night. I’ve been trying to hold the humidity roughly round 35, 40% but it’s hard in this dry heat. Been learning to balance temperature and humidity for the best vpd reading. The og kush is showing some yellowing of the tips of the leafs. I’m thinking it’s from the heat. I am like the signs of purple in the one og kush plant. Crazy how they are 2 same og kush seeds and they are both growing similar and different at the same time haha! I love seeing the recovery of the tops and the reward for all the work put into veg! Gonna keep going strong the next 4 weeks! Been doing about 6.20 6.10 for ph. Also keeping the water cooler to keep them roots cool! Great week headed into week 4 after week 4 no more big bud on nutrients. Super excited 🔥 also wanna talk about how well all these strains are growing! Super proud the pineapple chunk is doing great the 2nd plant in the back is a bit shorter but she’s growing strong many tops! And doing well in flowering a little burnt tips on the fan leaves but nothing major! Happy growing yallll!!

Поливаю сейчас каждый день по 2,5 литра воды, до дренажа, чередуя через каждые 2 дня с удобрениями, сейчас думаю поливать 3 дня чистой водой и на 4 день давать удобрение, так как дренаж выходит крепкий коричневый с ppm 700, с PH всё нормально, если залил 6.3 PH то 6.3 и выходит. Есть цветы под кроной, до которых не доходит свет, хотелось сделать дефолиацию, но боюсь что поймает стресс. Если есть рекомендации по растению, напишите, пожалуйста, свой комментарий.

It looks like this girl is going to finish in 56 days, very early, maybe it was the Clearex when she was starting to bud, that moved things along? It looks like the second swell has started and drinking has slowed. Getting sticky and frosty, I think I'm going have to try a early sample.

4/9/25 Welcome to another week. Week 5 since the flip of 12/12 just ended. So today is day 36 since 12/12. The begining of week 6. About halfway done with flowering. Time to start packing on weight. also its important to note that it took a week or so after 12/12 to have pistils show up. So its closer to 28 -30 days of Flowering. I have a foxtailing pheno thats mostly green with thin buds. I have a super chonker green pheno with ridiculously chunked up golfball sized nugs everywhere.(R3) I have a sativa style but thicker buds with nice long connected colas (R2) another smaller pheno with traits of some of the others and also green. and then a singlular pheno that looks gelato dominant and its purple pretty much everywhere to the point that i didnt notice its coloring until it was next to all of its sisters that are straight green. Finally started to show signs of flowering, I was a little worried and inpatient. Scrog is filled out nicely, I have stopped tucking the branches and plan on letting the plants have their stretch. In about a week or so will go in for another defoilitation. I've started to add to PK boosters to my nutrient mix. Using general hydroponics , for some reason I can't select their nutrient line. Cal mag - 2.5ml/gallon Micro-2.5 ml/gallon Gro - 1ml /gallon Bloom - 2.5ml/gallon Koolbloom - 1ml/gallon Floralicious plus- 1ml/gallon

Hey Growers. I’m not sure what the hold up is, but they call the shots so I guess we wait a bit longer. It’s talking longer than normal for them to fade but I’m sure they’re close. They’re a more yellowing every day. These 3 phenos are quite different and I’m sure that’s not helping with having a definitive end date. They will go into darkness for 2-3 days then they’ll come down. The smell is crazy, I added the second fan a while ago to help with that. I am just waiting for these girls to be done so I can start my FastBuds Gelato Auto run with the XS2000. Happy Growing.
