Big buds nice citrus smell well THC coated.

Bud sites forming fast, awesome node spacing on a few in particular....their size is pretty close to what i was anticipating for stretch, I may do a medium defoliation once more before letting them just do their thing, i really hate stressing them much beyond 3 weeks of flower...

7/24/23 - Day 42 - Ok, so where to start? I'm going to go over the last couple days of issues/troubleshooting. We had an issue with the lights not coming on for a whole day/night cycle. That was a couple of days ago, and everything seems okay since then. I had some Canoeing/tacoing on the leaves once the lights were back on. I think I had the PH too low, 5.8. In flower, I should start moving it up the scale. Once I corrected the PH to 6.2, the canoeing/tacoing in the leaves seemed to be gone/almost gone. I'm REALLY worried about the height of the plant. She is only 12 in. from the light that I cannot move. I added a second scrogg net???? I don't know if that's done a lot, but I'm going to try and stop if from growing straight up. I think the best I can do is give it a lean. So Ill call this the ScoggGL (GangstaLean). You'll see some pictures up top as I start the ScoggGL I did the first big trim and pulled a 3-gallon bucket of fan leaves out. I cut off a few side branches I didn't want the plant to waste energy on. I trimmed so many leaves off it was crazy. The smells have been awesome! You all know the smell of the fresh plant stems and leaves as you trim and rub across them. It's one of my favorite smells, which is in full effect. I noticed that I have some pistils growing. I know what that means, shes going to have some flowers here in the next week. I couldn't be more excited!!!!! The roots are just downright ruthless; they have been growing out of control. I have a great picture of them in there with no water. I should note that I did two things that might have solved the Tacoing in the leaves. It could have been one or the other, but it also could be a combo of both things. I did the trimming to get some airflow between the leaves and changed the target for my PH from 5.8 to 6.2. When moving into flowering, I should have already done that. But I did both things while the leaves were Tacoing, and now they are not. I wanted to make sure I noted that. 7/26/23 - Day 44 - Things are looking great. No more tacoing, she's growing and still drinking about 2+ gallons a day of water. I hope the vertical growth stops soon, I want to remove a ton more fan leaves, and I'm hoping that it spends more time growing around than up, I'm keeping some leaves on just to slow some vertical growth. 7/27/23 - Day 45 - She's sleeping right now, but I will chop some more fan leaves when she wakes up. She's growing too tall, and I need to find a way to stop her. I think shocking her system will help stunt her growth. How crazy is this, what a conundrum I'm in. Normally I stress out trying to find the right time to trim to avoid stunting growth. I always keep my plants busy and do one or two chops. I think they need to grow as mother nature intended. Let them grow and do one, maybe two fan leave chops. That's always been my motto and its always worked out great for me. This is now the exact opposite. Feels weird even thinking about it, doing a leave chop two weeks into flower..... ARE YOU INSANE!!!!!! Lol The 2nd chop has happened. I took a ton of fan leaves off. It's time for the plant to slow down heal and start working on the buds! Let's see how this goes over the next couple of days. I added a timelapse of me chopping her up. 7/28/23 - Day 46 - After adding more water last night, I was checking PH, and I did a quick check on the ppm from the nutes. If it went from 600ppm down to 130ppm in a couple of days. So we decided to give her another dose of nutes so she has something to eat. I'll update you after she wakes up for the day. 7/3 Hot as fuck today. Japanese beetles were around. I killed a few. I'm going to have to go over and keep an eye on things. It reached 90° today for the majority of the day. I watered around 1pm as I noticed most of the bags were very light. I'm glad I held off on the BT. I've dealt with jpn beetles before so hopfully that won't be an issue. Things are getting big. It won't let me upload any pictures or the video I did. I may upload it to past week. Went back over at night and and plants looked dropy but it was after 7pm and they were just going to sleep. 7/4 Didn't take photos this morning. Found some jpn beetles. That's the damage I've been seeing. I went back over last night to hunt them but I only got two. There weren't any others. No biggie. I'll put some pics up from today after I get back 7/5 Didn't get a chance to check the plants out today. My intuition tingled around 1pm and I had just gotten home and I ran over to check them. They displayed minor signs of heat stress as seen in the pics (due to the super high humidity and 90° weather) and the bags were light. A few were REALLY light. I could see they needed water. I WATERED 4 1/2 GALLONS TO THE GARDEN. DO TO THE HIGH TENPS AND WINDS IVE HAD TO WATER THE LAST THREE DAYS IN A ROW. IVE SLOWLY STRARTED INCREASING VOLUME. I don't want to water until I get a shit ton of run off because I want to keep the nutes in my soil as long as possible. As you can see things are going great. Minor pests but notjing major. They're growing at a very rapid pace. I'll need to add another layer of supports soon and begin to LST some of these girls. I've got one seedling in a 10 gal and I'm pretty sure it's a feminized red runtz but it's in preflower and looks and SHOULD be a female but I haven't seen the white hair yet. Looks like a female preflower though. I do have one auto though in a 5 gallon tjats doing good too. I have a bunch of pics but the internet is too slow. I'll upload tomorrow. Started pouring around 6. 7/6 Poured sheet rain all night. After it had Bern super fucking hot and I watered my plants with 4 1/2 gallons. Oh well. If I didn't water we wouldn't have gotten the rain. The fabric bags makes watering easier. The wind will dry out the medium. We do have some rain in the forecast. A pallet fell over and knocked my 5 gal bucket with tje auto into a 10 gal seedling but it held the pallet up and didn't damage anything. Out of all the ways it coyldve landed it landed just right to not hurt anything. Everything is super healthy. I do have some random pest damage but it's minimal. I'll decide whether to use a spray or not. Didn't take pictures this morning. Was pressed for time. 7/7 Super hot even at 8a.m. Rained the majority of the day yesterday. Plants are getting HUGE. I'm going to have to build a second round of supports and should probably start some LSTing. They seem to like growing natural how they are (besides the original topping and FIMed. You can tell these are ALL very high % indicas. I'm seeing pistols spitting out everywhere. Event horizon and sherb cake seem to be in the lead. The seedlings have realky taken off. The one I put in the 50 has fan leaves the size of my hands. 7/8 Wow it has been extremely hot. It's going to be in the 90's again today. Checked my plants and it seems the GMOs seem to be using more water. Those bags were a little lighter. Seeing how there is no rain in for a few days I had to water. WATERED 3 1/2 GALLONS. LAST SEEDLING FINALLY SHOWED AS A FEMALE. 7/9 Bags are still heavy. Found ONE jpn beetle this morning. Plants seem to be bigger everytime I look.starying the stretch and spitting out some pistols. I took some pics of the pistles. I'll update 7/10 should've started a new week but I didn't. I'll make next week six days. Plants are starting ro stretch. Minor random pest damage but woth the heat they need lots of water. Noticed a couple dead interior leaves so I should probably go through everything and defoliate. I need to add another layer of supports as well.

This cross between Cherry Pie and Chemdawg and do-si-dos It smells vaguely like brain cake. However, chempie has a stronger aroma than brain cake. strong terpenes of linalool, and the smoke was quite harsh and powerful with each hit. The nicest form and most substantial buds in this crop

9/16/23 - Day 106 - Today was the last day of nutes. Tomorrow I start my 6 day flush with just PH 6.1 water. This is the last step before the chop! I'll throw some pictures up tomorrow of the last water exchange. I'll take some videos of the process as well. 9/17/23 - Day 107 - I added a video uptop to show how a manual water change is completed. There are two options when you start your grow to either use a water hook up or add and remove water manually. I got the unit so quickly that I didn't have my water hook up ready. For the next grow it will be ready for automatic everything. Over the next 6 days I'm going to let her drink up as much water as she can then on the 23rd I will harvest and then hang them in the box to dry. 9/22/23 - Day 112 - I've been on vacation for the past week. I turned 40 on the 18th and I took the family to Disneyland. I've had someone managing the box for me in my absence. The box is so easy to use the person who is house sitting was able to keep the operation going. That's a great sign that anyone can do this. Tomorrow is the chop! I'm super excited! So far this week she has been taking in 2x the amount of water than normal. She's dying and she knows it! She still looks just as green, no welting. Looking good. Check out the photo up top. I just got home after a CRAZY long drive home. The plant still looks the same as far as color. I was expecting her to welt, and to have yellow leaves. But she looks like shes still doing good. This is nuts. Shes not really showing any signs of dying even though shes been in .7 ppm for over a week! I may let it go another day or two? Im not really sure, I'm in super unchartered territory, you're all going to learn this along with me. Ill post updates.

First heavy trimming

This week was a big week for the candy cush. I noticed upon watering her to run off, that in the same day the pot would go super dry and light weight. I also noticed stress in the leaves and roots poking out the bottom of the pot. It was time for a transplant. So far so good! Upon transplanting i performed more LST to help her fill in the pot. She went from a 1 gallon to a 5 gallon. She was also defoliated thia week.

Week 6 of flower. Buds are filling out more now. Still occasional rainy days but weather is improving.

Last 2 weeks before I put her in a 3 day dark period! I’m no longer giving any nutrients and I’m letting the plant deplete all the nutrients in the soil, I’m also only using water for now own. I have her in a 11.5 hour light schedule. There’s slight nutrient burning too on some parts but it’s nothing drastic.

Day 65, 14th of November 2020: Amazing week.... RQS Wedding Gelato does not strech a lot and pistils coming out nicely.... Original Sensible Seeds has amazing gentics they are so strechy except Black Ghost OG, rest of them crazyyyyyyy..... I also broke two of the sides from Gelato Original Sensible Seeds but fixed with tape and now all good lol 🤣🤣🤣 Pre flowers out and I really hope they stop growing lol. I also noticed that the Original Sensible Seeds strains have nice purple colours of the fan leave's stem. All the same fertilization happens every 2nd day with the mix above and ratio. One more thing: I set the lamp 15 minutes shorter to switch off earlier so they receive 11:45 of darkness. I would like to imitate the nature when longer nights come with time till the 4th week (when they will receive 13 hours darkness a day 15 minutes minus 4 times = 1hour) so every week 15 min longer darkness for 4 weeks and then back to 12/12 to have bigger buds from the 4th week....

Girls have settled into summer camp nicely. Worries about not taking the transplant diminish more each day and I am gaining more confidence in strong roots with each passing day as well. I had to build a supplemental lighting system for the greenhouse. Here at home we are experiencing a wetter than usual summer so far and with that brings clouds. So I needed to do something. So I built a new greenhouse light. It cranks out some light. Currently at canopy I’m measuring around 600 PPFD. Plants are loving it. All three plants sexed and all are females. Didn’t think otherwise. So the formula 707 is performing better than expected. Water retention is crazy. Watered the plants on Sunday with a gallon each , today is Thursday and no water needed. Going to try and get to Sunday for a whole week between watering.
