End of day 27 flower. Did a full defoliation on her today to open her up for a better light penetration. Also did a bud pinching technique about 5 days ago on two main branches so I will see how it compares to the ones that were left alone. looking very pretty in the tent indeed!! only one liberty haze plant in there but she is looking very plump already with a month or so to go. she gonna be a lovely lady indeed. continually defoiling the odd leaf here and there but overall a bit bushier than last run. not a whole lot to report back this week. fairly smooth sailing and not many changes except plumping up! so until next week my friends 😊

These girls are blowing up so I switched them to my bedroom tent and I also just ordered them a new light the ac infinity t22!!!!! I'm so excited to get that going next week. The phlizon I'm currently running is for a 3 by 3 and the tent is 27 by 27 inch. Back to the ladies so ones slightly shorter but darastically more bushy. The smaller one seems to get mildew issues is another reason I moved her to the smaller tent to drop humidity. The smells amazing and they are delightfully frosty for how early they are! Ok, so it's slowly getting thicker and frostier. At week seven my girl could be ready in anywhere from two weeks to four weeks more. The light was dropped closer to the top of the canopy. I decided to try 15 cm of distance, as well four 50W LEDs are not as powerful as the 600W HID or LED panels that are usually used in grow tents. I will of course keep an eye for signs of light and heat stress, but I suspect that won't be a problem. Update Day 89. Today I decided to turn the plant around to see the back colas and their growth. Then I found some mites under the leaves after examining weird spots in a couple of leaves. It seems to me that there was not enough airflow to deter the mites from making home in the back leaves, when compared to the front leaves of my plant. Lesson learnt, rotate plant often, ensure good and even airflow. I didn't find any webs beside a really small one seen on the video (most affected leaf). So, I think I found them mites early. I only found this kind of damage on very few leaves, and each leave contained less than 8 mites (at least that I could see) and a couple of eggs. So it seems that paying close attention to my leaves saved me from an out of control infestation. Anyhow... I removed all of the leaves that had even a single mite, or a single mark of discoloration. Also, I disinfected the grow tent, top of soil and lower part of the branches by spraying them with a 1/4 tbsp of bleach per liter of water. After that was completely dry, I mixed one part rubbing alcohol with 9 parts water and misted both sides of the leaves and even the buds directly (ethanol evaporates easily, so there shouldn't be residues left after it dries completely). Prevention is key, and some aspects I could've considered before are: 1. not grow any other plant next to my cannabis 2. Don't come into my indoor growtent after tending my outdoor plants. 3. Ensure even and plenty airflow. So, I attacked back strongly. I cut more leaves than those that showed damage, to increase airflow. I will be on the watch for pests and will rotate my plant often, as well as spraying a few times every week, just to make sure they don't come back. I also am going to build a kind of metal wire cage to separate the colas further and make it harder for any pest to spread. Its only my second grow, but from what I've read online about mites, it's way more costly (time and money) to deal with an infestation than to strike them hard early. I guess that specially now that I noticed them before they even made webs. Look closely at your girls growbros ! Update day 90. So this morning I. Becker the trichomes and they seem to have gotten more cloudy. I am not an expert at that, but they are starting to be fewer clear and more milky. I will keep an eye on them, but it think harvest might be here very soon, probably closer to the 9 week mark than to the 12 week one (I'm about to finish the 7th week)...

It gives me confidence in knowing that I am working with great genetics before I even start my grow. ---------------------------- Germination Start and incubation period 3/12/24 to 3/26/24 Transfer Day to Veg Day 6 3/27 to 4/2 Germination: First note was about the appearance of the seeds. They were smaller than I am used to seeing, but no damage or deformities and look to be in good shape. Germination took 14 days from dropping in water to transplanting into 1 gallon pots. 23hours in a glass of 6.3ph room temp RO water. 2 cracked open a little and I placed them both in paper towels wet with the glass water and pasted to the sides of the glass for 2 days then checked, no progress. So I freshened the water then waited another 2 days and checked, little to no progress. Then checked again 1 day later and finally was able to move them. One looked fully ready and the other seemed less ready. I placed in rapid rooter pods and closed with toothpick tips. 1 popped out of the pods in 1 day but the other did not. So I gave it 1 more day and started my spare seed. After 4 days of water and towels I replaced the dead pod with a growing sprout. Transplant occurred on 3/27 Veg Day 0 to 6 1gal hard tall pots. Transplant went well. The sprouts are smaller than I would like and seem to be stubborn in growth to start but hoping htat changes with soil. One pod was overgrown in the pods and Im hoping it doesn't reflect in the overall plant production. Video: Transplant ease. Transplant to 1 gal pots: I am using a 50/50, 50%perlite/50%soil with a .5lb of dolomite lime and a .5ml of flora micro added to .5 gallon of RO water (Im mixing 2 gallons of soil total so the water to soil ratio is 1/4 of the total medium volume) to achieve a soil tested ph of 6.4. I am using a 50/50 soil/perlite mix because I plan to use these in auto pots. I also used about 1 cup of the same soil mix water to pour around the plant after transplant; you can see how the perlite rises to the top where I did this. I sprayed two domes and covered - I plan to leave covered for the first week. Feed: I kept them under the domes and sprayed every day that I didnt feed them, to keep humidity up while I let them find water in the soil. By the end of the week I took the domes off and took pictures. Feed this week was another 1 cup of 6.3ph water 5 days after transplant. Feed plan next week will increase the amount to 2 cups of plain-no-nute water with about 4 days between feeds. I want to see the water run through so if I need to use more than 2 cups I will. The idea is to water deep and through, but then make them search for more before the next feed, hopefully spreading the roots out while doing it. Veg Plan: I plan on 8 colas for each plant. So that will be 3 topping days and a total of 7 cuts. I will want to cut the first time on day 21 if I have 5+ nodes. I will transfer to 5 gallon auto pots with-in 1 week of the first topping. Once I have 3 nodes of new growth past the first topping, I will top those two branches to the first node again. (that's 3 cuts total by this point) Then, after 3 new nodes of growth after that, I will do a last topping on the 4 branches. (4 new cuts added to make a total of 7 cuts and 8 colas) I will train the branches using LST/HST with tie downs as soon as I can after the first topping day to help maintain the branches growing where I want them to. I will also introduce an adjustable tomato ring after they have settled into the 5 gallon forever pots to provide support and mobility Hopefully all goes well, and I will have 1 to 2 weeks of growth before flip after week 8. I think it sounds more ambitious than it really is, but if you follow this journal, we will see together.

Day 17 17/07/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with calmag 5ml -5L. Very humid week, noticed a green turning colour on top of soils where the humidity has been far to high. I have installed door netting and recently left open all day and night now so they can condition over night in colder temps. All are doing well, one overdose slightly behind and looking ABIT swifted. But she'll come around 💪💚 Day 19 19/07/24 Friday Lite Feed today, 250ml each pot small run off. Seeing excellent start to these babies. Let's get it 👌💚 Day 21 21/07/24 Sunday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with calmag 5ml to 5L. Watering in 1L each day from now. Updated video

Top dressed with some more soil. The top was looking depleted and just want to keep it from completely taking all the nutrients from the soil. Added a mix of power bloom with azomite and glacial rock dust. I watered in with some pure protein dissolved into hot water then added to the water I was using at diluted levels. The second watering they got this week was with molasses. which also does a good job of dropping the ph of my water to the perfect level and a little bit of Epsom salt because I ran out of my cal mag and also want the plant to have plenty of sulfur. Buds are looking cool and remind me of little pine trees. At first glance it seems like they are starting to foxtail but the buds are fattening once the new growth on top starts to expand more. the main colas are almost a foot long each, but hard to tell because the planetary buds around the main colas are blocking them from getting a good picture. Amazed by how frosty the sugar leaves and even some of the older fan leaves are. Her smells are mostly sweet and candy-like. got a little sneek peak of what her fade should look like from one of the leaves being severed partially with a nice yellow and purple. She put on a decent amount of weight this week but towards the end,I can tell she's starting to slow down. Looks like it will still bulk a little more but noticing fewer white and more orange hairs. hoping all my plants finish around 8-9 weeks. i want to try to harvest them all at the same time if i can.

The two lagging Iced Outs are trying to catch up. DAY 26 - Watering 10L with 50 ml Vega (one day too late...) + light on 300w (max) DAY 28 - 4 weeks from popping the seeds, looking good except for the two Iced Outs, one of them is trying to get with the program, the other... Well, some plants are just pricks.

Day 8: The true leaves seem to be more pale than before, but apparently that's normal. Day 10: Started doing timelapses, and added a small fan. Day 12: The plant seems to be growing faster and faster, I hope this behavior continues

Well this pretty lady is in her final stretch. I had to pull a few buds off that had bud rot. After that happened I decide to take a few of the top colas close to where the bud rot happened as I didn’t want to lose them as well (see pics). Even though i chopped quite a few colas off the top she is still a beast!! This plant has been a real winner!! I highly recommend growing this plant especially if you are going to do an outdoor grow. Dinafem deserves props for these genetics

Week 6 in veg done and dusted! She grew 12cm! Day 42 - I clipped off about 6 huge fan leaves to allow light to hit her lower branches. This is her last day of 20/4 lighting. It will be 12/12 from now on. 💪

Scratch what I said at the end of last week pests are still around just had some bug fly at me and bite/sting me on the neck now a got a welt on my neck smh, not sure what the heck it was it was some sort of black bug maybe a thrip but I honestly have no idea, did another neem oil drench on the medium only and tomorrow I'm going to use a hydrogen peroxide mixture again that way I can also use it on the tops and undersides of the leaves as well. Some of the roots started to become exposed on the top soil so I added more an inch or two coco to cover the exposed roots. Another successful week I guess the plants aren't dead so onto week 9, Week 4 of flower
