The plant more than doubled its size this week. I thought that might be the case but was not sure how multiple 100f degree days would affect her, but she did just fine, and even seemed to thrive. I watered the night before hot weather started with my compost tea. Two mornings later got watered deep with cal-mag water in the morning, and has been doig well without water since and I held off a day to water to wait and see if it rains. Also gpt a little top sress of BSF frass and a touch of neem seed meal to help with pests and also helped the microbes in the tea.

Still low stress training till end of week five and once they are bigger then the actual pot I will allow them to start growing straight up. Lots of plants Is nice but you don’t want to suffocate them with no space to grow. I want a bush then turn it loose and let her reach up. More space for light to penetrate and helps with air flow to circulate the air better. I defoliated lower third of plant to allow plants resources to be better used on top and to also allow better air flow. Also when using low stress training you’re pulling the tops down to make an even canopy to allow your light to be put at its lowest point to get all your nuggs an even amount of light. As the week went on you can see I have leveled them all out for my light to be at its closest without burning any of my taller branches. I just tied them down more to allow the others to get better light and bulk them babies up more. I had a magnesium deficiency this week with a couple plants so when I watered I added 5 tsp of epson salt to 3L of water along with the rhino skin and then ph the water to 6.0. The only reason I have ph’d the water to 6.0 instead of 6.3 is because the runoff from the last watering was at about 6.8 so I’m trying to lower the runoff and get it closer to 6.5 so I know that my roots aren’t blocking out Nutrient uptake. The plants are a making a fast rebound after giving them the Epson salt watering after a couple days and are getting back to healthy. Week six should be a very interesting week to see how far these babies start reaching up now that I am done low stress training. The smell is very light not too strong yet. Still adding CO2.

Some extra rainy weather this week, last several days the sun never came out. Colder damp nights and finally slightly lower VPD! The reason I’m still concerned about lockout is because I corrected the root zone pH, before transplanting to the big 400, with multiple applications of hydrated lime over multiple days. I’m not concerned, but just aware of the potential as the pH slowly rises with the lime. They say 1-2 weeks at least, for hydrated lime. Either way, I did notice immediate results almost overnight after first application. The burning stopped spreading at a dramatic pace, as well her leaf expression suggested she had a little more energy as well as growth speeding back up. Only to find about 5 days later a new subtle progression with areas in the root zone where the pH meter would either dive to about 4, or become unstable and erratic. Now I believe we are thoroughly back to a range of 6.5-7 sweet.

The Blackberry Moonrocks have a really solid structure, they're looking super healthy. They're nice and big, but it does seem like they could be stretching a bit more. We might need to adjust the lighting or the nutrients to encourage them to grow taller. Well, another year has come and gone. Not much to say at the minute but Candyman is looking happy, I really hope they are female now 🤞🏻 added a small amount of Nutrients and already seems to be loving it and getting bigger daily 😍

Day 21 veg: Her we are at the midway point of the setting up for flowering and theybare all playing nicely so far. All at their 5th nodes and needing a plan for training now. Herz.o.g has been f.i.m.m.e.d now andnhopefully will shoot her 4th and 3rd nodes up to become hopeful mains. She is the biggest of the 6 newer plants by a long shot and seems to be very energetic indeed. Monster mash is the smallest of the group but by no means slouching. she looks nice and healthy and will be trained lst as soon as she has enough growth. Strawberry Cola also on her 5th node and close to being trained , is slightly lighter in colour than her cousins so I am hoping the Megacrop adds some nice green to the leaves for photosynthesis. A steady progressive week for them all. lets see what another week can do. be safe and well

Hi, thank your for visiting my diary, more info on my setup, soil and situation in: Germination... So been doin the whole Sherlock thing with the magnifier and nope.... no trichomes amber yet.... My magnifier is just not strong enough and apparently my eyesight is bollocks or my arms are too short... On the images ( I also have onset parkinsons as it seems, thus I used a tripod and low and behold: a stillshot) the trichomes are visible. Now I have the problem that I have to go for a week in a week. Im not leaving all on (mainly no control over smell and some distrust in my own handywork compiling these lights) when Im gone. So these ladies have to hurry up now. The other problem is the cure... I have no way to monitor temps and RH when Im away so Im gonna have to find a sitter for my babies or just cut them preprime or they magically make amber overnight.... I hoped, since they were racing to the finish, that I would be in time.... So maybe we pack an extra tent for our vacation... My growtent... I have been flushing for two weeks, still the leaves and plants are vigorous and lively. Some yellowing pointy bits but too minimal.... Temsp outdoor have been higher but stable, temps in the tent never over 26.8 degrees. Humidity has been dropping last days which I hoped for. Anyone any experience with building a climate chamber for curing? Or any on the market that will do? Please check my Zambeza 3 seed give away by guessing my final result! As an update: I took some tiny larf of a couple of days ago and totally forgot about it. Today out of weed, I found the dried remains in the jar I put it in and left it. No temp, no cue, no rh anything. So I get it out of the jar to find it smelling like weed, not even hay or grass but pungeant stinky weed. I start to crumble and find it is sticky, solid, and crumbles to nice bits that crumble even further. I light up and an amazing sweet and citrussy smell comes free, it is superstrong, although still more high obviously, and supertasty, without any cure. This promises even more for the rest of the bunch. This was some underside sad yellowish larf,not any density to it but smoked ten times better than my local, round the corner dispensary weed that I smoked later that day. Even Sunshine (my partner) was amazed with difference in smell. Update 24th july: I finally saw ambers yesterday and the fact me running out of time, made me decide to start the 48 hours of darkness. Tomorrow she/they will be cut down for drying and curing. I have a humidifier and can manage temps to be a bit colder to prolong first dry as long as possible. Coming friday I have to decide what to do: keep them hanging for a full week, whilst Im gone. Or start the jarcure if drying (since its very hot and dry here lately, this might be the case) is faster. I would have loved to give these ladies another week maybe two... They were still so healthy. But I cant control anything when Im not here and this could potentially destroy my harvest or get very smelly, this leaves me no choice for now... The trichs are now at +/- 15% to 20% rest is all milky with just some single clears on less developped lower buds... I allread know she is nice tasting and potent enough. As soon as we are at the final weight I will post the harvest and we choose the winner! Another update: closer inspection revealed that the plants a/ had still lot of underside larf and b/ lots of clear trichomes. As we are near the finish I rather give them another week of light. So Ive bent all the big buds downwards to protect them from the light. I might not be able to correct the cure, but its a shame not give them another week if I can. Some will be horrified with the damage but my reasoning is simple, the big buds are done or almost, the larf still can develop into bigger buds so a late harvest supercrop and lowered the lights to 35 cm for the final push. In the harvest video we will show you the way we made the comfrey tea and where I keep it, our permagarden, introduce myself and maybe even Sunshine, the light of my life, introduces herself. It’s been hot lately perfect for drying buds in the ac. I’m happy to have all these plants chopped down and drying on racks it took awhile to harvest everything this time. Cants wait to be able to test try the buds in a few days

I am happy with the results and I moved the plants to the GRILL!! top candy phase in massive quantities at the beginning of the week and also the last time I use it after a week no water. yes .. I hope to resist .. the gorilla glues are bad one is becoming almost perfect but I wish they would light up the trichomes they taste like candy my hands are a symphony of perfumes , even the lemon ak are incredible !! excellent seed I think I'll do it again indoors. compactness structure color UNIQUE flavor the ample bud of the critical orange punch is MONSTER as well as being double having pruned in preFLOW, I had the idea that the orange bud had surprised me that's how it was she's an alien goddess pure milky.😍
