Another Barney's run! This time FEM only. 2 bottoms are Glookies, 2 tops are Critical Kush Been in veg for exactly 5 weeks from seed. Looks totally great as for now. Been using Sensi Bloom A+B from the start, like 1/4 of the recommended amount. I use high ppm tap water...

Not much going on, just keeping things going and staying on track. Just been watering and checking up on them daily. Getting closer on the cookies.

Getting there... cant wait for Spring Walls are up and painted, floor is laid, electrical all done, exhaust outlets mounted. Ive started to install the trim - I decided to put a grey stain instead of boring paint on the floor trim boards. Looks really solid against the dark bamboo floors. I used two gallons and two coats of flat pure white paint for walls and ceiling. Should give me a reflectivity somewhere around 80%. Some may ask why not opt for mylar? I just dont like the look. I dont care too much for reflectivity, as I will be well above the required watts/sqft with the light setup I will be using. I mounted an electrical receptacle in the ceiling, I thought it may come in handy for cord management. Im going to mount the 3 x meanwell drivers outside of the grow room and run some extra long cables to them. This is to keep heat out of the room, any little bit helps. Will be running a 8inch fan with about 750 CFM in order to properly vent the room. Intake will be a door vent and the negative pressure the fan provides. Odor is not too much of a concern, but may as well add a carbon filter. 📆 Semana 6 Está semana, las plantas entran de lleno en la fase de engorde. La canopia se mantiene activa y las flores empiezan a ganar volumen a medida que los cálices continúan apilando. Los cogollos muestran cada vez más densidad y la resina comienza a hacerse más visible en las puntas y hojas cercanas. Las plantas dirigen claramente su energía hacia la producción de flores y terpenos. Las pequeñas marcas del exceso anterior quedan atrás y el cultivo se ve más limpio y enfocado en el desarrollo final de los cogollos. Seguimos creciendo fuerte 💪!

This week went outstanding. I did a final round of defoliation, and I am still feeding Flower nutrients with a PK booster. These ladies are ready to start stacking. The tallest plant is the Durban Thai X C99, and she is 50 inches, while the rest are all between 40 and 48 inches. It is just time to relax and watch the flowers form. I am still planning on harvesting on December 21st, but I will pluck one or two ahead of time if they are ready. We’ve been experiencing a lot of busy days in our schedule so our posting and updates have been very scarce. We’ve kept up with our grow the entire time. We typically give our grow a gallon of water at 6.5 pH, typically room temperature, and because it’s our first grow we’re sort of allowing the plants to take their own course sort of. We only pull the yellowing fan leaves, and any debris to avoid contamination. Other than that, we typically water every other day, and add nutrients as explained on the back of the bottle (flora-gro/bloom/micro and Fox Farm Cal Mag+ when needed).

09/14 gave big pot its last strongest feeding at 1930 dropping those numbers big time this week. Watered small pot. I need to take readings and see if I need to do a flush or not by six the small pot was droopy it was a hot one today fed it 1060ppm 09/15 watered small pot this morning measured runoff at 399ppm so no need to flush that one will check small one tonight when I water small watered small pot 09/16 fed big pot this morning 1280ppm fed small pot 1110ppm 09/17 watered both big in morning small at night. 09/18 fed both this morning 1190ppm trying to not have to water when I get home at night. Little pot wasn't dry at all but oh well 09/19 watered both this morning 09/20 fed both 1160ppm

Rocko’s Runtz Rumble – Tag 77 🌱👊💚 Blütewoche 4 – Blütetag 28 Blütenentwicklung 🌸 Die vierte Blütewoche ist geschafft und ich bin mit der Entwicklung weiterhin sehr zufrieden. Die Blüten legen ordentlich zu und die Unterschiede zwischen den drei Sorten werden immer deutlicher. Pink Banana Runtz entwickelt sich langsam zum kleinen Schwergewicht. Ihre Blüten sind deutlich dicker und kompakter als bei den beiden anderen. Durch die kurzen Internodien sitzen die Blütenansätze schön dicht beieinander. Melonade Runtz zeigt dagegen eine eher offene, längliche und teilweise etwas strubbelige Blütenstruktur. Sie bleibt außerdem meine empfindlichste Kandidatin. Einige Blattspitzen sind beschädigt und vereinzelt zeigen sich kleinere Nekrosen. Blue Zushi überrascht mich mit einer Blütenstruktur, die Melonade ziemlich ähnlich sieht. Auch hier entwickeln sich längliche, teilweise turmartige Blütenansätze, allerdings etwas kompakter. Dazu kommt eine bereits sehr schöne Harzbildung. Bei allen drei Pflanzen konnte ich diese Woche auffällig aufgerichtete Blätter beobachten. Besonders Blue Zushi zeigte richtig schöne Praying Leaves. Das sehe ich natürlich gerne! 😎 Die endgültigen Pflanzenhöhen liegen bei 115 cm für Melonade, 105 cm für Pinky und 131 cm für Blue Zushi. Letztere steht allerdings im kleineren Topf und damit etwas tiefer als die beiden anderen. Klima und Technik 🌡️ Die Entfeuchtung läuft inzwischen über den HYDRONE 5. Mein Ziel ist ein VPD zwischen 1,4 und 1,6 kPa. Ganz so konstant bekomme ich das noch nicht hin, aber auch mit Werten über 1,1 kPa bin ich schon zufrieden. Die Klimaregelung funktioniert grundsätzlich gut, auch wenn es noch einige Schwankungen gibt. Die zusätzlichen Under-Canopy-Bars laufen ebenfalls weiter. Ob die mittlere Blütenzone davon wirklich profitiert, wird sich in den kommenden Wochen zeigen. Bewässerung und Nährstoffe 💧 Inzwischen sind auch die Dripper installiert und ich bin wirklich zufrieden damit! Die Pflanzen bekommen jetzt regelmäßig ihre Grundversorgung mit Leitungswasser und etwas Mono-Magnesium. Das funktioniert erstaunlich gut und ist eine echte Erleichterung. Vor allem läuft die Bewässerung jetzt viel gleichmäßiger. Beim Gießen von Hand trifft man ja doch nicht jeden Tag exakt die gleiche Menge oder den gleichen Zeitpunkt. Die Pflanzen scheinen die regelmäßige Versorgung jedenfalls zu mögen. 😎 Die zusätzliche Düngung läuft über Handgießungen. Dafür lasse ich bei Bedarf einfach ein Bewässerungsintervall aus und gebe stattdessen eine kleine Portion Nährlösung. Die eigentliche Nährstoffversorgung übernehmen nach wie vor die BioTabs und die vorgedüngte Erde. Viel zusätzlich düngen muss ich also gar nicht. Green Bull gibt’s einfach als kleine Unterstützung, damit die Pflanzen mit Stress durch Licht und Klima besser klarkommen und die vorhandenen Nährstoffe möglichst gut verwerten. Natürlich alles schön sparsam dosiert. Pinky und Blue Zushi haben außerdem schon etwas PK-Blütedünger zur Unterstützung der Blütenentwicklung bekommen. Bei Melonade bin ich wegen ihrer empfindlicheren Reaktion weiterhin etwas vorsichtiger. Schädlingsbekämpfung 🐛 Die Thripse beschäftigen mich leider weiterhin. Deshalb habe ich erneut Amblyseius swirskii und Florfliegenlarven ausgebracht. Die kleinen Helfer sollen den Schädlingsdruck weiter reduzieren. Ich hoffe, dass ich die Sache damit biologisch unter Kontrolle halten kann. Fazit 🌱 Insgesamt bin ich mit der vierten Blütewoche sehr zufrieden. Jede Sorte zeigt inzwischen deutlich ihren eigenen Charakter. Pinky setzt auf dicke, kompakte Blüten, Melonade bleibt etwas wilder und empfindlicher, während Blue Zushi mit kräftigem Wachstum und schöner Harzbildung überzeugt. Besonders spannend finde ich die überraschend ähnliche Blütenstruktur von Melonade und Blue Zushi. Mal sehen, wie unterschiedlich die beiden am Ende tatsächlich werden. Alle drei können jetzt entspannt in die nächste Blütewoche cruisen. Ich lehn mich zurück und genieße die Show. 😎👊 Am Ende zählt nur, welche Runtz am härtesten rumblet! 🌱💚

Im quite sad about the end result of the Exodus Cheese. I expected something different. Anyway sometimes you find something great and sometimes you dont. Thats just part of the game. Im not complaining about greenhouse seeds tho, i have found quite some bangers out of their seed packs in the past. Looking forward to new grows. Peace out growmies.

Day 57: 5 days of running RO water, and the ladies starts to show some minor Calcium deficiency, and Phosphorus Excess. at least this is what I think it is. About the Phosphorus Excess goes also very well with BIG plants advice against running Stimulus and Bud explosion at the same time. I have been done this for 2 weeks. (they actually have one week of this in early flowering in the feeding schedule, but generally advise against it) So I will take Bud Exp. out in the next mix. For the Calcium deficiency I will ad some more B, as I already are on the low side of the recommendation. The mix with RO water is a little tricky. before I've added only half the dosage, but now it seems like I need to ad accordingly to schedule, to make up an EC of 1.2 I am still adding 2x1 L for every lady a day Day 59: All ladies received another LST training. I have received the Mars Hydro TS 3000W and set it up. Day 63, the Fat banana, is killing it, it is a beast, OMG it is so bushy and around 65 cm high now, but the flower is still small. the biggest one has some dark color on the leafs expanding from the flower. The main stem is so thick. around 3 cm. I took all ladies out today and I notice that the FB was almost dry. perhaps it is not getting enough water. I will increase the fertigation to 3 times a day for the FB Day 63 the Stress killers are also looking amazing and just smell good, very citrus Trimmed out all the lover and small flowers, I don't think they will develop.
