Here’s a deep dive into this exciting and educational week: The “Flush” in Full Swing The flush continues as we prepare the ladies for their final days. While we’re a week or so away from harvest, the plants are responding beautifully, showcasing stunning fades that highlight their unique genetics. This fading process is a critical part of the journey, helping the plants naturally finish their cycle while preserving those complex terpene profiles we all love. The Mold Incident: A Teachable Moment This week brought a challenge—a few buds succumbed to bud rot (Botrytis), particularly on the Papaya Zoap and a single bud from the Gorilla Melon. While disheartening, it’s a reminder that mold can occur even in the most well-maintained gardens, especially with dense colas and a full canopy. After a thorough inspection, all affected buds were removed and discarded to prevent the spread. A quick note to all growers: defoliation plays a massive role in airflow and prevention of such issues. This is why mid-flower defoliation is a game-changer, and I’m grateful it kept the rest of the garden healthy! Papaya Zoap’s Unique Quirks The Papaya Zoap continues to be a star of the show with its frosty buds and… albino tips! These tiny white tips are likely from being too close to the lights. While it’s a cosmetic detail that doesn’t affect quality, it’s a fascinating display of how genetics and environment interact. A Frost-Filled Wonderland The room is absolutely glistening with frost. Trichomes are piling up like snow, giving the entire garden a magical wintery appearance. I genuinely believe the ThinkGrow LEDs and TrolMaster spectrum control deserve a shoutout here. Running deep red, far red, and UV at 100%, combined with whites at 50%, is delivering incredible results. So I transfered them today a little ahead of time but nothing wrong with that! Roots looked amazing! Added dynomyco into medium on final pots and watered 500ml of solution!

Hi there. Here’s a few photos and videos over the past few weeks. I transplanted the Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flowering ladies outdoors around May 24th. A little sooner than I had planned, but they were starting to get root bound in their starter containers. They have been exploding with growth since the transplant. The larger plant is already 4’ tall and the shorter one is 39”. Fast Buds website says up to 3 Meters (10 Feet) outdoors. At this pace they might exceed that!!!👍👍

Start of week 3, the three survivors are doing great! I did happen to find some algae growing on top of one of the rockwool cubes. (This was my fault for not fully covering the tops of them with hydroton to block out light.) As an attempted fix, I cut some square pieces of black cloth that I laid of the top of the cubes to block out the light completely. Hoping removing their light source, the algae will die off and discourage any further growth. If it gets any worse I’ll try using a hydrogen peroxide solution. Day 17, the three ladies are looking nice. Starting to see some nice healthy roots populate inside the buckets. I went ahead and upped their nutrients today. We will see how they are doing in the morning. -FloraFlex - 1.5g/gal of each V1 and V2. -Advanced Nutrients - 1/2 strength MGB and hobbyist additives. **Algae update: seems like using the black cloth to block out all the light has killed off that algae growth and I don’t see anymore so it’s working!** Day 18, I thought one of my plants had root rot. Which was weird for it to happen that fast in less than 24 hours since changing the res. Come to find out it’s just nutrient stain from the Advanced Nutrients, so thank god. #1 and #2 which are growing with FloraFlex got FIMmed today. I’ve topped plants before but never FIM. Not sure if I did it right, but that’s the fun in all this, is experimenting to see what works. Day 20, #1 and #2 are responding well after being FIMmed couple days ago. I decided to FIM #3 as well. I also decided to leave the 4th one out of this diary from here on out since she’s behind. We will stick with the original three that survived from the start. So far I’m really loving their bushy appearance and thick leaves. Their roots are coming out super nice as well! Pretty soon these babies are going to just take off!

We are still weeks out before I switch these ladies to flower because all of my flower rooms are to full capacity. The clones from the mother moonwalked kush have all taken root. My black aeroponic cloner is a week ahead of my white EZcloner. Everything is going well so far. They started showing their first signs of deficiencies this week so I increased the feeding. Nothing else to report.

During the first week, Permanent Marker by Seed Junky faced challenges due to low humidity, manifesting in stressed, wilted leaves. Notably, the lower leaves began showing a purple hue. Despite these setbacks, given its lineage and Seed Junky's reputation, optimism prevailed. Implementing misting and environmental adjustments, the strain's resilience became evident. This purpling, while unexpected, added intrigue. With vigilant care, I remain hopeful, anticipating both challenges and the strain's promising growth ahead.

This thing was very easy to grow. Liked low PPMs in flower. Around 600 was plenty for her. Will report taste and effects when curing is complete.
