Week 5 This week was a busy one. I topped ivory at the beginning of the week. Tied her down in the middle. Then topped her again at the end of the week. She is growing like a weed. Ivory is still in a one litre pot. She is getting 1.5 litres twice a week right now.

Day 62, harvest day. I will update after the drying and curing process. Wish I could've let them go a little longer but had to harvest slightly early. For my first attempt I'm happy with how the ladies turned out! Nice gassy smell, big sticky dense buds, great colours and 81g altogether wet trimmed. Lost one due to growers error but I've learnt a lot for next run. I will be growing one Auto Chem OG along side one Auto NL x BB from Oasis Genetics. Have a great day and happy toking! 🍃💨

Hey yall! Another week down. A lot has happened. To start, we up-potted from the red solos into my living soil blend that I have been working on for almost a year. It's so full on living creatures and beneficials. I used to have fungus gnats a lot when working with living soil, it's almost impossible to avoid. .. Then enters beneficials; we have black soldier Flys, persimillis predatory mites, definitely earth worms, most likely a mix of night crawlers. No more fungus gnats, I highly recommend using beneficial nematodes, cucumeris and persimillis predatory mites are excellent (swirski predatory mites are expensive). Just look at the Soil Food Web and identify what pest you have, then purchase their predators from a trusted insectary. Anyways I added another 200watt LED and spread out the plants in a 2' X 4' tent. It's extremely dry in my location and having the heat on makes the air even drier. So getting my VPD stable has been an immense challenge. Right now Also we need to be able to add VPD or at least GD needs a built in calculator to help folks with VPD, Vapor Pressure Deficite. As of right now I am sitting at 0.85 VPD, so pretty good for today. I have 4 humidifiers and have had to hang moistened towels on the doors of the room I am growing in. It literally has been a huge challenge to keep the humidity high enough for my VPD to be in range for the young plants I have now. Good thing is my current humidity without running any humidifiers is perfect for the flowering stage, so I can't wait to move this along. As for topping and training; like I said I really want to move these ladies into flowering sooner than later. I have several reasons to do limited training so I can limit my veg time, also getting this crop done as fast as possible is best for my set up. Until I can get a larger house 🏠 😩 because we got a baby on the way 👶 so need to make space. I have made compost tea twice this past week, wetting the soil and also spraying the leaves. My sprayer broke so I ended up pouring the tea on the plants gently, I got worm castings on the leaves lol. Gently rubbing that off once they dried. Also I applied the tea at night. My tea recipe: Reverse Osmosis water, 2 to 4 gallons I bubble that with added minerals for a day Add 2-3 cups of Activated worm castings (To activate the castings I added about 3 gallons of high quality castings with what I consider to be nutrient amendments, SO I add = kelp meal, neem cake, organic coconut flour, organic corn meal, organic wheat flour, and organic cold milled flax seeds and let that sit for a week then add about 2 to 3 cups of that mix to the tea) I also add biology from about a cup of 2 different soil mixes I have around my compost bin, just trying to get a more diverse biology by adding those two different soil sources. And mind you the grow beds I took the soil from has been organic for many years and has a large amount of beneficials and tons of excellent biology. Other than that I bubble that for 12 to 24 hours, with as much air as I can get. I use air stones but you really need to clean them off once you are done brewing. I also have an Air Lift with a large air pump that really works great, K.I.S. Organics sells one that works great or you can build one easily with with PVC pipe and a few adapters from any Home Depot or Lowes. Also I do add DynoMyco to my roots when up-potting. They are an amazing brand that has backed up research, I think they have more propagules per gram of two strains they identified to work great with cannabis. Now having said that, each individual phenotype out of each individual and specific strain/cultivar is going to have different bacteria/fungal strains that it prefers and by growing the same strain, hopefully the same exact cut, and grow 3 to 4 cycles before you truly have the mycelium networks built and fully functional. What I am saying is stop throwing out "used" soil and go over 7 gallons, bigger the better for biodiversity. Stop buying "new" soil, amend your previous beds and pots. You will see a huge difference. Hopefully I can show you all of this with my Grow. Anyways please feel free to ask away any questions! This grow is about saving money 💰 🤑 and growing the best clean medicine as possible.

It's been a bit of a rocky week for all the plants, things popping up all over the shop but I'm putting it down to being a noob. Light distances/intensity issues and plenty of upcurling leaves from being a proper wally with my nutes. Royal Bluematic #1 - She's had a bad case of Light Burn and it's explained below. I've also noticed this one 'moults' the most and I have quite a handfull of dead/deficient leaves per watering where the other 2 plants in the wardrobe barely drop, but I am at a loss with her (other than changing light height and intensity), I've kept her on her nute schedule as I don't beleive nutes are to blame. She's had it hard from the beginning so it could be that....a bit of a bride of Frankenstein hahaha, she's rather stumpy and very bushy with the main cola being quite chunky, again like the Royal Jack my Royal Blue is airy and whispy pistil node sites but plenty of them...why so long to thicc? the other Royal Blue is coming on rather awesomely....hence more pictures of her...sorry #1. I also had to do an autopsy on a branch, I kept wondering why it was looking so buggered and it was due to it being bent right over at somepoint snapping the branch quite high up making it hard to notice, sliced it off and squeezed the end of the branch together, closing it up and keeping it tight. Royal Bluematic #2 - Well....I'm in lurrrve, she's coming on fine, my lil shorty, budding up with thickness and fat cola, plenty of nodes and very sticky and smelly....Really not a lot long left on her I think? Trichs are not so cloudy yet so maybe a couple more weeks. I have gone and really messed up, the last of her main fan leafs on the cola has crisped and curled upwards which I think was due to being moved to the middle of the grow box and suffered PAR intensity overdose!! I've now moved her back to the side and hope for the best...Not a lot else to say for this one, I'll let the pictures do the talking. If you can see on the pictures, the leaves that face the middle of the LED are bleached and weathered. I've hightened the light and gave the LED rig a jig and got some more efficiency out of it in terms of height and PAR intensity, I'm still needing to purchase a PAR meter but I have learn't that this 600w does kick out some and if there's a plant directly below it then that's some light blasting down on the poor plant. With my next grow I'm only dealing with 2 plants so the light share will be much better and make much better use of said PAR :) As for the feed I've notched Guanokalong Bloom up to 0.3ml but keeping CalMag and Rootbastic the same now throughout the grow. I'm keeping the pH at 6.3 as they seem to like it. I'm hoping this week we'll start to see fatter buds and better leaves. Today's album played to them was 'Leftfield - Rhythm & Stealth'

The next day, I watered with plain tapwater and runoff EC was the same as our tapwater. That Wednesday, was the last day I gave them water. On Friday, they had their 12 hours of light for the last time. I forgot to make a family picture just before harvest, but I did make a movie during those last hours of light. After 36 hours of darkness, I harvested on sunday. The coco had dried up quite a bit. The pots felt light to the touch, but when I removed Jannine from the tent (the one that was always in the middle), she immediately collapsed under the weight of her own buds! The same happened to Kim, only Iris was able to holdup most buds, but with a lot of effort. Apparently they had support from each other and the walls of the tent all that time. The buds were promising: heavy, hard and dense. Can't wait to see how they work out after drying and curing. Even the buds lower on the plants were not nearly as fluffy as my first grow, but more like little marbles. My first grow, I trimmed everything wet, but this time, I only removed the fan leaves and some of the bigger sugar leaves. Also, I kept the branches bigger this time. I threw a lot of the little buds in the trim pile, but since they were still looking and feeling like some good buds (but just small) I decided after harvesting the first plant, to throw them in separate containers. So I now have the trim from all the plants, mixed with some of the smaller buds from Jannine and two separate containers with the smaller buds from both Iris and Kim. It went into the freezer fresh, directly after harvest. Since I am lazy, I ordered a bubble washer, which will be delivered somewhere this week, to ease up the hash making proces. Can't wait to try some of the hash from these girls! As for most of the buds, they are drying in the tent. The circumstances could be a lot better: for weeks during flower, RH in our house was at 60%, but in the 24 hours directly after harvest, it came down to 40%. The weather changed from very humid to very dry and it will be like this until the end of the week. Considering it's about 23 degrees C in the drying room (maybe 22 during night) and the fact it will become increasingly warmer the next few days, I am worried about the buds drying to fast (by far my biggest concern), but also loosing some potency. It is now 24 hours after harvest and the buds are still pretty wet, so at least 3 days of drying should be possible, maybe 4. A few days slower would be better, but probably unlikely. Anyway, this ends my second grow. Off course, I will be back with the final results in a few weeks, after drying, curing, making hash of the trim/popcorn buds and off course, testing it all. The pheno 5 has started to throw out HAZEY smell in the tropical mix. I can smell the slightly musky/cheezy/spicy scents of the haze. I think this is a trait that I will have to consider throughout the selection, since that haziness is certainly something we want to have when experiencing the Liberty HAZE ;)

I really enjoyed growing this African beauty, really exclusive and unique genetics. I advise to everyone who love staiva, easy fast strain. Thanks to everyone who follows my grow reports, and Tropical Seeds Company.😘

Week 16 Gorilla Glue #4 4 week of blooming I added another liter of soil to the pot had roots coming out... I removed some leaves and oriented the branches better. It is still growing and is watered with 2 liters per week 1,5L on top 0,5L on bottom Week 4 Amnesia 1 1 Amnesia It is 20 centimeters high This week I did LST and removed some leaves 2 Amnesia It is now 8 centimeters high

Week 4 flower : everything’s looking nice still got the lights about 7-9” from top of canopy without any issues . The humidity has gone up to 50% in day and I can’t really get it any lower I’ve already got a dehumidifier so don’t want to get another one . I would like to lower to 40-45% and lower for last 2 weeks but can’t see that happening . I’ve started the pk from end of week 4 (day 28 )at 1ml per litre this took my ec to 2.2 I will see how it goes and maybe up it to 1.2-1.5 and I’m going to use the pk for 7-14 days then I will start the flush I also lowered the silicone to 0.5ml per litre 3x blue cheese plants are on the left but has spread over and 1x sunset sherbet on the right
