Week 9: Post-Vacation Bloom & Humidity Vigilance
Update: 22.07.2025 | Day 70
Back from vacation - ladies made huge progress! Weather shifted from hot/sunny to rainy/humid (22°C). Mold prevention is now top priority.
Strain Check:
Green Crack
Developed beautifully but has fewest bud sites by far. Buds thicker than others - constant humidity checks essential. Gorgeous structure with spot-on mango aroma. Resin queen: sticky like flypaper to the touch. At least 2 weeks to go.
Forbidden Runtz
Looks fantastic with the best fragrance of the trio. Resin production accelerating, but buds show slight foxtailing (heat stress from previous weeks?). Solid 15-20 bud sites. Should finish in ~2 weeks.
Bruce Banner
Still the star with perfect even canopy. 20+ long candle-like buds forming. Resin/smell least developed but has 3-4 weeks left. Critical: Defoliation for airflow to prevent mold in this humidity.
Critical Actions:
-Daily inspection for curled leaves inside buds (early mold sign)
- Reduced Bokashi feeding (1:150 weekly)
- Strategic defoliation: Remove only touching leaves
- LST adjustments to increase branch spacing
- Morning stem shakes to dislodge moisture

Feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6. No plagron products as noticed burning again.
(I think I'll do a run using advanced. And Plagron. Just to see what's different. )
There all showing great progress!!
Divine seeds - auto Overdose, the main bud is so compact and dominant it looks great!
Defoliation of lower two fans that started to turn in colour.
Apart from that left her to it ✌️💚

got pistils growing out leafs
zero fade during flush
so far 30% amber 70%cloudy
it's humidity has been below 40% for 4 weeks, so it's as dense they are going to be.
tried the buds, not bad taste, burned white (ash doesn't matter anyway)

Looks like they've recovered from nutrient burn once I backed off the nutes. I also checked the PH after mixing the 3 parts and the Micro doesn't seem to be bringing the PH down enough, it only goes to 7.3. I use Nectar for the Gods PH down to bring it around 6.5. Some of the leaves look a little light in color and slightly burned at the tips, I think they might be light stressed even though Ive get my lights spaced a safe 24" away. I LST where I can this week. The plants are so short that its difficult to do effectively.

The two Red Hot cookies were by far the fastest strains in this run. And also simply beautiful.

Once I did a smoke test. I will add the missing information! Pheno number #2 has significantly more yield than Pheno #1.
Pheno #2 smells like bubble gum, I've never had that smell with a strain before. If I had room for a mother tent, pheno#2 would have gotten a spot there.
I'm looking forward to the next harvests !:)

Seedling number 1 is growing faster than number 2 but both seem to be healthy.
I water two times a week with 2Lts each plus Hesi's root complex and Calmag

Day 21 Flower
So this week I decided to defoliate as they are super leafy. I took that pile from each plant. I also took off any branches that I thought would be under the trellis. It’s being pushed up so it’s hard to tell. They are pretty happy regardless. The leaves I left are already quite big after 3 days.
I did 2 hydrogen peroxide flushes around the defoliation to combat any possible pests and nutes weren’t gonna help in a slightly stressed state and they won’t hate some extra oxygen to the roots. I let them dry for 3 days and fed today.
The Vipar Spectra XS2000 is growing these plants nicely, heating the tent a prefect amount. It’s so powerful in my 2x4, I’d love to see it in a 3x3. They’re happy with it up at 22-24” until I know they’ve stopped stretching.
Pretty easy week. Just trying to keep them happy and growing big.

The buds of the Lemon Og Candy have some awesome orange hairs and the smell is really starting to spread. Now I know why it has candy in the name.
Further decreasing humidity. Good that its cold and dry outside.
Also stopped watering for the last 6 days to further decrease humidity.
Then I gave 15L into the big pot and 3L into the small one.

Die wahrscheinlich letzte Woche der 1. Lady beginnt.
Die beiden anderen Ladys hängen deutlich zurück aber ich schenke ihnen gerne die zusätzliche Zeit und Pflege.
Gedüngt wurde ganz normal nach schema, zusätzlich bekommt meine calmag Lady nun das 2. Mal calmag vielleicht fängt sie sich auch noch.

Die erste Lady wurde heute geerntet und zum trocknen in den dafür vorbereiten Schrank gehangen, ich entscheide mich hier für die Dry Trim Methode weshalb ich sie noch nicht weiter verarbeitet habe.

Great :) GOOD START-HALF OF THE WORK !!!! The girl looks very good :) so far the small space does not cause any problems, for the first time I see that after you tried cutting off the main head, new branches grow from that place :) it will be really interesting :) I used LST a little until the height of the branches is even, and then I will try to do a scrog :) good luck to everyone :).
